As the early morning sunlight refracted in through the window glass, Shen Chengjing turned on the bed with dark circles under her eyes, gazing at the ceiling with wide-open eyes.
Bam! Bam! Bam! She heard someone pounding on the door.
“Someone is looking for you.” Shen Chengjing kicked her friend.
Liu Sijie turned and pressed her into the bed. “Girl, don’t mess with me so early in the morning. You’re playing with fire by moving around. Do you want to do it?”
After saying that, She reached out her hands and tickled Shen Chengjing.
“Savage. Here I come.” Shen Chengjing pulled up the quilt and covered her friend with it. The two rolled on the bed for several turns.
The knocking didn’t stop. The two looked at each other, then Liu Sijie jumped out of bed, smoothed back her hair, and went to open the door.
“Who is it? Coming so early in the morning?” Shen Chengjing got out of bed, too.
A group of people barged in. They pushed Liu Sijie out of their way and began to smash everything they saw.
Bang! Bang! Bang! With their eyes wide open, Shen Chengjing watched these people tear down everything in the living room.
“You’re a walking disaster. You dared to hurt my son! I’ll kill you.” Li Jinglan barged in and grabbed Shen Chengjing, wanting to hit her.
Shen Chengjing caught her wrist and looked at her in disdain, “Great Mrs. Mo barged into a civilian’s house and hit people. If the news gets out, I’m afraid that not only your reputation, but the stock price of the Mo Corporation will be affected.”
She threw this woman’s hand off, forcing Li Jinglan to take several steps back.
“You!” Shivering in fury, Li Jinglan stared at Shen Chengjing in disbelief.
She was stunned by the sharp tongue of the usually quiet and obedient Shen Chengjing.
“Jie, since Mrs. Mo is joking, you must give her a list of all the things that they smashed. It’s time to get some new stuff anyway,” Shen Chengjing said coldly with a smile, but it was clear that the smile was fake.
Li Jinglan had never liked her, and it seemed like she finally got a chance to take it out on her today! Shen Chengjing didn’t want to fight back before because the woman was Mo Yongqiang’s mother, but today she no longer worried about that.
“No problem.” Hearing this, Liu Sijie ran over to get her calculator cheerfully, intending to get something out of it.
“You want compensation? In your dreams.” Li Jinglan looked undaunted.
Shen Chengjing sneered. She moved back by half a step, leaned on the doorframe and clicked a button on her cellphone, showing a video of the entire scene where Li Jinglan ordered her people to smash everything. Even her words had also been captured by the video.
“Well, I believe the netizens will be very interested in what Mrs. Mo has done. Oh, no! I should say Mr. Mo will be highly interested,” she said with faked distress.
Li Jinglan was livid with fury. She pointed at Shen Chengjing and couldn’t even speak.
“You b*tch.” She picked up a vase and smashed it.
“Jie, remember to double the prices. The only thing that the Mo Family doesn’t lack is money, so don’t show mercy on them,” Shen Chengjing said as she threw a bowl at the ground near Li Jinglan’s feet. “You want to smash everything? I’ll help you.”
“You!” Li Jinglan’s chest heaved in fury; she wasn’t able to breathe properly for a second and almost passed out.
“Before we come back, clean this place, and return everything to their original places. Pay every penny you owe us! Mrs. Mo, I believe you can do it,” Shen Chengjing said as she turned around, grabbed her bag, and pulled Liu Sijie out of this place.
Inside the room, Li Jinglan and her bodyguards looked at the mess in stupefaction and fury.
“Cheng, you are awesome.” Liu Sijie looked at Shen Chengjing in admiration. “How come you look more and more like your husband? Tell me the truth. Did you hook up with him long ago?”
Remembering the man in the photo on that marriage certificate, she suddenly felt that Shen Chengjing had had the same air when she dealt with those people.
“Stop that nonsense.” Shen Chengjing continued to roll her eyes. In fact, she was more furious than anyone else.
They were messing with her so boldly. Did the Mo Family and Shen Family truly think that they could play with her however they wanted as if she was a monkey?
