“Wow, man! You’re so fucking strong!” John praised Elliot after the monsters ran away like fucking cowards.
“Thanks,” Elliot said, beaming a smile at him.
“You were so cool, Elliot,” Lisa said with a mesmerized looked on her face as she hugged him from behind, pressing her soft breasts on his back.
“Nothing much,” Elliot said, acting humble.
“Have you been hiding your strength?” Lisa asked with a curious look on her face.
Elliot shook his head and said, “Nope, I had never hidden my strength.”
“That’s a bit hard to believe. You are so strong, after all.” Lisa said while looking at him, her eyes curled into a happy smile.
Elliot patted her head, feeling that she looked extremely cute and lovely.
“Are you a stager?” Theo asked after a moment.
There were a few magicians who could lower the maximum magic energy capacity of their bodies. If they felt like it, they could easily fake the results of their evolutionary stage by lowering their magic energy capacity to fool the Energy Evaluation Device and get a lower number.
Stager is a magician who intentionally lowers his maximum magic energy capacity to get assigned a lower evolutionary stage.
“No, I am not a stager,” Elliot said in a hurry, refusing Theo’s claim.
His teammates started spewing out one question after another, drowning him in a sea of questions.
“One at a time!” Elliot said out loud.
They asked him some questions, and Elliot answered them, mostly yes and no, and at last, curb their excitement and cleared their confusion by telling them that the ability he awakened is just that good.
“All the beasts are mine. Any problem with that?” Elliot asked while looking at them.
They shook their heads, signifying they have no problem with that. After all, Elliot’s the one who killed them all. They didn’t do anything. So, they didn’t have any rights over them.
Elliot exposed a satisfied and happy smile on his face as he will earn many units of the essence of life from the beasts he killed. He collected their bodies in the subspace of his inventory before using his authority to extract life out of them.
<You’ve extracted the essence of life from 69 beasts of the magical realm>
<You’ve gained 2900 units of the essence of life>
<Total units of the essence of life: 3250>
Elliot sat down next to the fruits of Earth and Moons and leveled up twice.
<You’ve advanced from the sixth level of the magical realm evolutionary stage to the eighth level by using a total of 1750 units of the essence of life>
<You can now contain eighty units of magic energy in your body>
<Your Magic Matrix has advanced to level eighth>
<Your body can now contain eighty units of God’s Qi>
He reached level eight and now needed 3000 experience points to reach level nine. However, he was left with only 1500 experience points.
<Level 8: 1500/3000 units>
It will take some time to earn 1500 units of the essence of life, Elliot thought, knowing well full he was just a few levels away from reaching the Channel Opening Evolutionary Stage.
<You’ve obtained 6 points of God’s Breath of Growth>
He immediately invested them all into his strength and stamina stats to somewhat balance his overall physical capabilities.
<Your Strength has increased to 20 points>
<Your Stamina has increased to 19 points>
“Hmm?”
Elliot heard the sound of someone walking close to him. He turned to look behind him and saw Lisa coming up to him.
She sat beside him, looked into his eyes, and said, “Uh, so can I rest my head on your shoulder?”
Elliot didn’t reply.
However, he continued to look into her seductive eyes in a daze.
“What? Is there something on my face?” Lisa asked, wondering why he is just silently staring at her.
Elliot nodded and said, “Yes, there is.”
“Huh? Where?” Lisa said in bewilderment, touching her face here and there.
Elliot chuckled as he watched her go silly.
“Why are you laughing?” Lisa said, feeling that she has been played.
“It’s not like that, you silly little vixen,” Elliot said as he gently grabbed her hands and moved them away to look at her mesmerizing face.
“Wait, did you lie to me?”
“Nope,” Elliot declined her accusation with a single word.
“Really? Then, tell me what’s on my face!” Lisa said, pursing her little rosy lips in annoyance.
Elliot leaned closer to her face, staring into her eyes, and said in a deep voice, “There’s a very seductive look on your face.”
As Lisa heard his words, she became flustered and redness painted her ears.
“You are good with your words, I will give you that,” Lisa said in a gentle voice as she felt her heart beating rapidly.
“I know,” Elliot said as he wrapped one of his hands around her lithe waist, pushed her into his embrace, and placed her head on his shoulder.
“What are you doing?” Lisa said, feeling her heart tingling in joy and excitement as his hot breath brushed against her reddened cheeks.
“Making you look even more enticing,” Elliot said as he lowered his head, placing his forehead on hers.
Lisa’s eyelashes fluttered and she closed her eyes as Elliot’s landed a kiss on her lips. He pushed the tip of his tongue between her rosy lips, trying to open them apart from each other. Lisa felt his eagerness and opened her lips for him, allowing his thirsty tongue to slide into her hot and sultry mouth and entangle with her sweet tongue.
The moonlight from the twin moons of planet Xavier cascaded onto the two of them, seemingly as if they were trying to bless them, wishing them a good future and a happy life.
Sometime later, the fruits of Earth and Moons released a blinding silver light before hovering above the ground, signifying that it has reached maturity.
“How are we gonna split them?” Lisa asked as she pointed at the four fruits.
“One for each,” Elliot said, deciding to split the fruits equally.
“Thanks for the fruit, man!” John exclaimed as he picked up one of the fruits and stored it into his spatial ring.
“I really appreciate your selflessness,” Lisa said, placing a kiss on his cheeks before taking a fruit and storing it in her spatial bracelet.
“Me too!” Theo said with a smile, picking up his share.
Elliot picked up the last one while looking at it with the intent to know everything about it.
<Fruit of Earth and Moons>
<Grade: Magical>
<Level: 10>
<Effects: Increase maximum magic energy capacity by ten units>
<Impurities: 100 units>
<If you eat the fruit without purifying it from all the impurities, you will never be able to benefit from another Earth and Moons Fruit>
“Why?”
“You will build immunity if you eat it without purifying it.”
“Is there a way for me to clean it from impurities?”
<Yes>
“Let’s talk about it later,” Elliot said in his mind.
He then followed the rest back to the academy, ready to turn in the heads of the rogue magicians and complete the mission.
They moved through the woodlands as the twin moons brightened the atmosphere, making trees and grass of green appear silver, a scene not so unusual for this place. They stepped toward the gates of the city, unhindered along the way. After all, the monster repelling reagent has worked its wonders yet again, keeping the monsters away from them.
They entered the city, reaching the Emerald Mountain in several minutes. They greeted and talked a bit with the guards stationed at the gates of the academy before making their way to the mission hall through the stone-paved path.
