Butcher Demon Novel

Chapter 17: AASPINT

Chapter 17: AASPINT

I need someone to help me.

*Don!* *Don!* The escape plan I had in my mind in the kitchen while I was carving the meat is something like this.

I’m going to lure that control terminal out in front of me again. Kill the one who has it. Kill everyone around it. Steal weapons and armor. Kill as many as I want in this alien city. When I’m satisfied, I’ll go to the forest, hide in my lair. I’ll take out the weapons I’ve secretly collected so far. If the aliens pursue us, we will intercept and kill them in the forest. Infiltrate Fort 88. Kill them one by one. Eventually killing them all.

All in all, it’s too rough.

I don’t have paper and a pen, so I can’t write down the map or carefully arrange the materials. I can’t seem to get the details right. This foggy brain is also not good. I don’t have enough memory to formulate a plan B for the obstacles that may arise along the way.

Even now, I can rebel if I want to, but the success rate of escape is low.

It’s all because of the control device in the side of my head, the self-destruct mechanism.

Anyway, I have to find a way to deal with this bomb that is stuck in my head.

In fact, I don’t think it’s enough to just take the control terminal. If I were an engineer on the alien side, I’d have double and triple security measures in place.

I just need one person to act as my brain.

As for the women who are being raped by me, it’s difficult to communicate with them because I can’t speak. Moreover, they are also prisoners. Even if I could communicate with them, it won’t do me any good.

And what about the aliens? They are even more hopeless to communicate with.

But if only we could talk. If we can find the aliens who are lamenting their misfortune in this city and make a deal with them or threaten them, they might cooperate with us.

If you’re looking for a collaborator, you’re probably looking for the aliens.

But how the hell do I find them ……?

As I was carving meat in the kitchen of the butcher store, thinking depressingly about such things, I heard a buzz in the front of the store.

I looked over and saw that the manager of the Minotaur was talking to someone.

The other person was a man I didn’t recognize.

He had long hair and purple skin. He also had horns, and if I had to guess, I’d say he was a Devil.

He looked like a well-dressed man. I used to be a sniper in a scout unit against aliens, and my impression was that he was one of the senior officers.

He seemed to be quite famous, and there was a crowd of people around him. I wonder what he’s doing here.

–Two kilos of ground beef.

…… It looks like he comes here to buy some meat.

As I was quickly grinding the meat, I suddenly felt a small sense of discomfort in the sound of the running machine.

The mincing machine is a big one that can crush the bones, so it makes a lot of noise. The rumbling and rolling sound of the metal was mixed with a clunking sound.

I wondered if the machine was malfunctioning.

I listened carefully as I moved my hand, trying to find the source of the sound.

The sound was clearly different from that made by the machine.

It seems like it wasn’t the sound of the machine.

I wondered if something had gotten stuck inside it.

Sometimes people have foreign objects embedded in their bodies that get stuck in the machine. Like a bullet that couldn’t be removed. A broken metal brace. Or a pearl embedded in your penis.

I try to stop the machine.

Then after a little delay, the knocking sound stops.

I turn the machine. *Knock* *knock* It starts and stops after a while.

No matter how many times I tried, that was the response.

It was as if some signal was being emitted under the cover of the sound of this mincing machine.

as if it was sending a message…

In the next instant, my back arched as electric shocks shot through my entire body.

The memories of the soldier that had been buried deep in the brain came flooding back from Butcher’s sluggish synapses, revealing the real meaning of the sound.

–Calm down. It’s not a good idea to alarm them.

Acting calm, I quickly wrapped up the measured ground meat and handed it to the manager.

Don’t get excited, Don’t get panicked. Just be natural.

After receiving the meat, the devil officer smiled, handed the money to the manager, and left.

I watched his back and tugged on the manager’s shoulder.

The Minotaur manager turned to look at me.

I pointed with my finger ‘that way, that way.’

Whenever I want to leave like this, it’s usually to use the bathroom.

The manager Minotaur nodded and gave me a friendly send-off. I love the manager. But what is this grass you keep handing me every chance you get? You may be a herbivore, but I’m a carnivore. *nom* *nom*.

As I chew on the grass, I quickly went around the back of the store and walked around it.

And then, I found it.

A figure cowering in the back of the store.

I stopped in front of the figure.

The figure covered in rags turned around, looked at me in surprise, and stood up in a panic.

This someone was poking around in the plumbing behind the store.

I grabbed the person by the neck as he tried to run away.

With the force of me pushing his head against the wall, his hood came off and I could see his face.

A bland, human-like creature. A man. But the pupils of his eyes were split horizontally like a goat’s, so he was clearly not a human.

The man was pressed against the wall but still did not speak.

We stared at each other through my paper bag.

So, I slowly brought my sharp claws to the man’s ear and tapped the wall.

The man’s bewildered face immediately turned shocked.

The man’s face immediately turned puzzled. “You’re lying…….you’re a …… human????”

What I heard earlier was a Morse code.

I recognized it immediately because I used to use it too.

The aliens are either still unaware of this primitive system of Morse code, or they are ignoring it.

The aliens are strong. However, they seemed to be inferior in terms of technological ingenuity, and there was no sign that even this simple code had been intercepted. On the other hand, we couldn’t intercept the aliens’ long-distance communications either.

My own guess is that the roots of their technology are too different. Our technology is the application of physical phenomena. Their technology is the overwriting of physical phenomena.

Whatever the case, the Morse code was a very convenient means of communication for us front-line soldiers. We used radio waves to send word to each other. Sometimes it was beeping in imitation of a bird’s voice. Sometimes we communicated by banging on buildings like this.

I looked at this man who had finally spoken human language and thought.

He must be one of the so-called <AASPINT> the <Anti Alien Special Intelligence> unit that I heard so much about.

I’ve heard that the AASPINT, which is similar to the Fort’s scouting unit <Fox Team> to which I belonged, is a special force to perform tough missions.

So this is it.

I’ve heard unrealistic rumors about them infiltrating alien cities, but I didn’t think they were actually doing it.

…… But this is a former fort that has been used by the aliens, so the entry route is almost completely exposed from the human side. If you can get here and have a disguise, infiltrating is a piece of cake.

I pounded on the wall and told him I was on the Fox team.

“Seriously?…………Butcher disguise?…… How is this possible?”

He thought that this appearance was a disguise.

Indeed. You’d think so. But it’s not.

All sorts of questions come to mind.

What’s wrong with this guy’s eyes? No, I don’t need to ask this. Maybe it’s a disguising device.

What is he doing here? Probably spying.

How long have you been here? That’s not important.

Who was he communicating with the Morse code? That’s what I need to hear!

The man was tapping on a pipe. This pipe is connected to the sewer. There must be another person down there in the sewer.

Who? How many? What’s the purpose?

Knock, knock.

“I can’t tell you that…….! You know what I mean…….!?”

That’s right. AASPINT is an elite spy. Even if he were one of us, he would never divulge any information. It takes time and equipment to get him to talk.

…….

Will you be my collaborator?

” Let go of me……and we can talk over there …….”

I will cooperate with AASPINT and give them inside information about the aliens.

They’ll help me escape.

That’s the relationship.

Will it work?

“#◇、★○§◎#▲。☆§☆※▼▽&§△#?”

I heard a voice from behind me. It’s an alien.

As I restrained the man, I looked back to see the demon officer who had just bought the meat and three guards watching us from a distance. The demon officer was talking to me, and the guards were drawing their swords.

You must think I’m out of control and attacking aliens.

With a click, a man secretly tapped on the wall.

–h-elp–co-ver-me–

The guards are approaching, surrounding me. We don’t have much time.

What do we do?

…….

…… yeah…… that must be it.

A revelation has come to me.

It’s time to make a decision.

There comes a time when you have to play the odds.

Now is the time.

With the nails of my index finger and thumb, I hooked the man’s eyeball and pulled it out, as if I were pinching a boiled egg.

The eyeball that had been pulled out, optic nerve and all, was smooth and really looked like a hard-boiled egg.

“!? GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!”

I ignored the man who was screaming and struggling and threw it at the feet of the demon officer.

The eyeball that rolled around had an odd device attached to it.

I also pick up the other eyeball and crush it with my finger.

What remained on my finger was the alleged device, which I assumed to be a contact lens to disguise the man’s eyeball.

I flicked the contact lens with my finger and send it to the demon officer.

He picked it up and looked at it with interest.

“‘Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why?

Because you guys betrayed me.

I put all my strength into the hand that was gripping his neck. There was a cracking sound from hand.

AASPINT cannot be trusted.

They’ll use everything they have to get the job done. For their own survival. That’s what spying is all about. That’s why they use me. In other words, even if I can build a cooperative relationship with them for a while, in the end, I will be betrayed again.

Of course. Who would be foolish enough to release a dangerous butcher into the world without restraint?

He’s going to investigate me as soon as he gets back. He’ll find out about my past, that I was abandoned at Fort 88, and he’ll see me as a risk factor. He won’t simply let me go.

And that’s the right decision. They’re smart. They will always come to that conclusion.

As long as I can’t move freely, I’m not going to be able to get behind their schemes. I don’t have a countermeasure. If I reveal myself to the Earthspint, they will use me to their utmost advantage. They could cut off me when they retreat or shoot me in the back.

Or they could take the terminal that controls me and reuse me as a weapon.

–I can’t let that happen.

I’m not going to let them mess with me anymore!

Earthspint is the enemy.

“Ge……vo, Dan…….”

The man said, and stopped moving.

……Ah. I’m glad you remembered my name when I told you at the start. I’m glad. You’re actually the first person to ever say my name.

Maybe there is a timeline where we can work together.

But the thing is, I don’t trust people anymore. It’s unfortunate that I found you.

The spy guy was choked to death by my hand.

He gave me three souvenirs.

One. He reminded me that I had a means of communication.

Two. He gave me the information that there was still someone in this alien city who could understand Morse code.

And lastly.

A gift to show off my usefulness to this demon officer who walks up to me, gazing down at a pair of lenses device.

Thank you, unknown person.

As a thank you, I’ll put your meat on the shelves right now. I’m a butcher after all and freshness is everything. Let’s sell it off as a limited-time sale.

I have to take it to the manager and let him know. Maybe he’ll give me some more grass as a reward.
