[Do you want to unlock the “Wall-Hack” skill?]
‘Yes,’ Leo answered mentally.

Leo looked at the description of the Wall-Hack skill and was very happy with the result. Initially he was worried that the skill would only show the location of monsters of his same level, but according to the skill description, even though he was Bronze 1 Star, he could still see the location of Bronze 4 Stars monsters and humans as long as he wanted to activate the skill! The only downside was that the skill was very expensive to upgrade, being 250% more expensive to reach level 02 than getting Aim-Bot to reach level 03, but with these two skills together, Leo was pretty sure that in a forest he would practically become a hunting machine.-ɴ(0)ᴠᴇʟ.
Edward watched Leonardo smile and was confused by this. He had been killing these rodents for a while and he knew that these little monsters were not the young man’s opponents, but why was the young man so excited all of a sudden?
“Something good happened?” Edward asked.
Leo turned around, still smiling politely, and asked, “How about we increase the hunting speed? I think I’ve already figured out the patterns of these monsters.”
“Alright, I’ll be with you. I also think you can handle them faster now,” Edward replied, thinking that Leo would just spend less time looking for targets as he discovered the rats’ possible hiding places.
But as soon as Leo finished cutting off his most recent kill’s tail and ears, he started running with his bow loaded with two arrows.
Edward had seen Leo walking around with a single arrow the entire time after he killed the first mouse, but why was he using two again? And most importantly, why was he running so fast? Leo didn’t even give Edward a chance to ask what he was doing and activated the Wall-Hack to test the skill.
As expected, he couldn’t see Edward with that ability, but two minutes after he started to run, a red outline the size of a cat and shaped like a mouse appeared in the grass 10 meters ahead.
Edward had already noticed that rat and was about to warn Leo, thinking he hadn’t noticed the hidden monster, but before he could say anything a noise surprised him.
Swoosh!
An arrow came out of Leo’s bow, but then another red outline appeared on Leo’s right and the second arrow that was loaded was also fired. ɴ(O)ᴠᴇʟ
Swoosh! Two shots, two kills.
The two Bronze Rats 2 Stars couldn’t even react to Leo’s arrows and died in a very pathetic way.
Leo wasted no time in getting the arrows from the monsters’ bodies as well as cutting off the rats’ valuable parts. The way he did it was very clean, as if he’d known for a long time that those rats were there, but the simpler it seemed, the more Edward was shocked by Leo’s strength.
‘How did he locate these monsters so fast? He’s just an Awakened Bronze 1 Star. These monsters are stronger than him,l; it would be impossible for him to feel these monsters if he didn’t stay focused for several minutes…’ Edward started an internal debate about Leo’s abilities. He had never seen such a talented student in his life.
Leo didn’t even say anything after dismantling his prey and started running again. Only after one hour of hunting did Leo get tired, but in that one hour he had killed 15 more Bog Rats! He was so excited that he didn’t even spend the experience points he had received and just focused on killing the rodents and reaping the loot.
On the other hand, Edward’s jaw was hurting from the shock that he’d been watching this 17 year old hunting monsters more powerful than him as easily as a person harvesting cabbages.
“Uff… I think I’ve reached my limit. I’m sorry professor, I think I got a little carried away,” Leo said as he leaned against a tree for breath as he looked at Edward with a slightly embarrassed smile.
“Did you get a little carried away? You killed 23 rats in total, plus out of those 23, 17 you killed within an hour, Bronze Monsters 2 Stars! You, an Awakened Bronze 1 Star, killed 17 in a single hour! Boy, your future will be glorious!!” Edward was finally able to say what he was thinking.
He was laughing; an Awakened Silver 3 Stars was openly laughing at an Awakened Bronze 1 Star. Something almost impossible to happen in Blue Pearl City was happening here right now in front of Edward.
Normally Silver Awakened tried to maintain a calm and elegant expression in front of Bronze Awakened, but Edward no longer cared about that. With what he saw of Leonardo’s strength, he knew it was only a matter of time before Leo reached the rank of Gold in the future, and he could proudly say that he taught a Gold Awakened! Was there more glory in a teacher’s life than getting a genius student?!
“Shall we go back to town?” Edward asked Leo in a very good mood.
“Weren’t you going to get some herbs around here?” Leo asked, confused.
“That’s not important anymore. I remembered some tasks I have to solve for the Headmaster.” Edward made up an excuse quickly.
“Alright, I’m too tired to continue.” Leo didn’t ask much and just nodded after putting the rat parts in his backpack.
As they walked back, Leo opened his status screen again.

‘One thousand experience points!’ Leo was shocked as he looked at how many points he had scored. Without needing to think about it, he spent 500 points and upgraded Wall-Hack to Lv. 02.
[Wall-Hack Lv 02 [0/1,000]: Within a radius of 20 meters around the user, any being will be visible through a red outline as long as the target is at most 3 Stars more than the user. With each level the range increases.]
‘Great, now my Wall-Hack and Aim-Bot have the same range. That is, as long as I can see the red outline around the monster I can shoot without fear of missing, not to mention that with 20 meters of range for the Wall-Hack I will also be much safer,’ Leo thought happily.
Before, he had to mentally calculate the distance between him and the monster to know if the monster was 20 meters away or not to shoot with 100% accuracy, but now the monster would have the red outline, which would be much easier! As for the remaining 500 Experience points, Leo would wait until he got home so he could move up from Bronze Rank 1 Star to Bronze Rank 2 Stars, as that would attract a lot of attention from Professor Edward next to him, and Leo didn’t want to bother coming up with an excuse for him to suddenly move up in rank.
The way back was much smoother for both of them, as Edward didn’t want to deal with the weak monsters anymore and just left his aura on display, pushing all the rats and vultures away from where they were.
Upon arriving at the city gate Edward turned to Leo with a smirk.
“Young Leonardo, your future will be very promising. I will remember you tomorrow at school. I will also speak to the Director about your awakening and you can go directly to the Elite class at school from tomorrow,” Edward said.
Leo was happy with this news and thanked him. “Thank you very much, Professor Edward. Tomorrow I will be on time for class for sure. Thank you for your tips today; they enlightened me a lot, and many questions I had were answered.”
“Don’t worry about such basic things. This is just normal Elite School content. See you later.” Edward said goodbye and left.
But Leo knew Edward was just downplaying what he did. After all, Leo was no fool and knew that even if the students were in the school’s Elite class, the treatment between genius and scum would still exist. But even the genius could hardly get some exclusive tutoring from a Silver 3 Stars Professor like he had today. This was something Leo was very grateful to Edward for, and that kindness Leo would not forget in the future.
With a smile on his face, Leo left with a full backpack towards the sales post for Awakened to sell the materials they had acquired.
ɴ(O)ᴠᴇʟ ‘Today I got a small fortune, hehe,’ Leo thought with a big smile as he left, but what neither he nor Professor Edward noticed was the shocked expression on the faces of the two city gate guards. The two of them listened very well to the conversation between Leo and Edward and were left with their mouths open in shock as they listened to them talking in such a casual way. A Silver Awakened was treating a young Bronze 1 Star with such affection – that to the Bronze Guards 5 Stars must have seemed impossible. The only explanation they could think of was that this young man was either someone with a very powerful background or he had a monstrous talent, and if there was one thing the guards understood, it was that this young man was someone they definitely shouldn’t disturb.
“Greg, we should write this in the report for Corporal Joseph too!” one of the guards said decisively.
“For sure! He’ll kill us if we leave that out of the report!” Greg said with a shocked expression by now.
