Hidden Wife : Best Husband Novel

Chapter 11 - 11 - Run Away

“It won’t happen!” Said Soo Yin with great emphasis.

Her stomach suddenly felt sore. She remembered that she hadn’t had breakfast.

Soo Yin used to eat breakfast before leaving for work.

“Let’s see! I’ll make you fall in love with me,” Said Dae Hyun with a crooked smile.

“A player like you will never be able to seduce me!” Soo Yin shouted while standing in front of Dae Hyun.

“Let’s have breakfast! It’s past time for breakfast.” Dae Hyun looked at his watch, which was already showing almost half-past nine o’clock.

“Go! I have no appetite,” Said Soo Yin as she walked to the balcony. She was starving, but she didn’t want to eat together with him.

Dae Hyun finally asked Auntie Xia to deliver the food to the balcony.

Dae Hyun was actually an easily irritated and impatient person. But then, somehow, his anger faded when facing Soo Yin’s indifferent attitude.

He had never chased a woman like this before. Most of the women were always after him.

Soo Yin was indeed cold, indifferent and short-tempered because her father, Kim Nam, always spoiled her.

While persuading Soo Yin to have breakfast, Dae Hyun was getting a call from Manager Han.

He told Dae Hyun to immediately come to the hotel because there was a meeting held at the end of every month.

Soo Yin sighed in relief that Dae Hyun had already left. She watched his car disappearing among the trees from the balcony.

The girl rushed over to the breakfast that Aunt Xia had prepared.

Soo Yin hadn’t eaten anything since last night. She was starving, making her eat the breakfast hungrily.

After finishing breakfast, Soo Yin walked around, observing the villa from the inside to the courtyard.

She had made a plan to run away tonight. She didn’t want to stay longer with Dae Hyun.

================================

The sun has begun to set on the western horizon, leaving a beautiful sunset view.

Soo Yin stood on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful scenery accompanied by the gentle breeze.

She even almost forgot the purpose of standing on the balcony was to observe the security on guard.

She insisted on finding all means to escape from this house.

Soo Yin looked at the clock, which showed seven in the evening. It was time for a shift change of security on guard.

The man turned out to be busy playing with his cell phone instead of going around, as Chung Ho did.

Soo Yin thought that this was the right time to escape.

She already found a relatively low wall at the back of the villa this afternoon.

She planned to run away through that way.

Soo Yin immediately walked carefully outside. She didn’t let Auntie Xia or anyone catch her.

The girl sneaked up and took off her sandals so the guard wouldn’t hear her.

Soo Yin got into the pot that had been arranged this afternoon. She deliberately used a pot so she could reach the wall.

If she put a ladder instead, everyone in the villa would be suspicious.

Soo Yin managed to climb the wall with difficulty. She couldn’t move freely because she wore a skirt.

A rough part of the wall scratched her arm when she jumped.

“Ouch!” Soo Yin exclaimed as she immediately covered her mouth with her hand.

Soo Yin walked down the road while coating her head with the sweater she was wearing.

She was afraid that Dae Hyun would suddenly come home and saw her.

It turned out that there were two intersections in front of the house. Soo Yin was confused about where to go.

After much thinking, she chose to walk to the right one.

Soo Yin didn’t know whether she was going through the wrong way. She didn’t have an idea which route to go because she was sleeping when Dae Hyun brought her here.

Soo Yin looked around the shady tree-filled path. The farther she walked, the quieter the atmosphere.

The girl was panting along the path that was getting more and more uphill.

Luckily, there were still a few street lights lit up, even though it was dim.

Soo Yin felt something wrong with the road she went through. It didn’t have asphalt.

She slowly passed through the gravel road and gradually stepped on the ground.

Soo Yin walked towards the mountain instead of the residential area.

Indeed, several non-active mountains surrounded Pyeongchang-dong villas.

The girl continued walking with the cell phone flashlight as the lighting.

“Damn, there’s not even a signal here,” Soo Yin muttered.

The sound of the night animals shouting at each other gave her goosebumps.

Soo Yin finally turned around to realise the slippery road and the tense sounds of night animals.

As she continued to walk, it turned out that her feet tripped over a large rock in front of her, causing the girl to fall and roll down on the downhill path.

Her head felt very dizzy from hitting the wood at the side of the road.

Soo Yin tried to get up, but her leg was sprained.

“Dad, please … help me,” Soo Yin sobbed amidst the shock.

She looked around and saw no sign of anyone passing by.
