Doctor Kang nursed Soo Yin for three days, but her condition had not recovered yet.
Dae Hyun never left Soo Yin. He did his work from home instead.
He even told Soo Yin’s father that they were going on vacation so they couldn’t visit him.
Soo Yin’s thin body was now getting thinner because she didn’t want to eat at all.
“Soo Yin, please eat!” Dae Hyun thrust the spoon into Soo Yin’s mouth.
Soo Yin shook her head then looked away with a sullen expression. Her lips were pale. Her eyes were swollen until her cheekbones were clearly visible.
If only Dae Hyun would let her go home, then things wouldn’t be like this.
“Please eat, if you recover I promise you to do what you want,” Said Dae Hyun seriously.
“Really?” Soo Yin asked with sparkling eyes. Her body turned to look at Dae Hyun.
“Of course, just say what you want!” Said Dae Hyun.
“I want to go home,” Said Soo Yin.
Dae Hyun was silent. He was sad whenever Soo Yin wanted to go home.
He thought that the girl was so tormented that she didn’t want to live with him.
There was only one thing he could do to make them stay together.
“This is your house too. Why are you living in that little rented house?” Dae Hyun asked, frowning.
“It’s boring here! I can’t go anywhere,” Soo Yin replied with a sullen face.
“Very well, I will escort you when you recover.”
In the end, Dae Hyun agreed to the girl’s request.
Soo Yin immediately finished her meal with gusto.
Since childhood, she used to live freely and without being restrained. She used to be free to go anywhere because Kim Nam always spoiled her.
“Dad will be home soon, his condition has recovered,” Said Dae Hyun, looking at Soo Yin who was stuffing food into her mouth.
“When did you visit Dad?” Soo Yin asked. She stopped chewing.
“Yesterday. Dad will stay with us later,” Said Dae Hyun.
He was quite sure that by bringing Kim Nam to this villa was the only way for them to stay together.
Soo Yin spat out the food that was in her mouth, surprised to hear the news that her father would stay with them.
Dae Hyun fetched a glass of water that was on the nightstand, handed to Soo Yin.
“You don’t seem happy that Dad is home, do you?” Said Dae Hyun while looking at Soo Yin.
It was not like Soo Yin was unhappy to hear that her father had recovered, but it’s a bad sign for her.
Her efforts for not taking medication would fail even though she had hoped that Dae Hyun would release her as soon as possible.
Soo Yin kept on thinking about this. Her body was weak. It was useless. Her efforts so far wouldn’t work anymore.
“Soo Yin!” Dae Hyun called while moving his palms in front of his wife’s face.
Soo Yin turned to Dae Hyun with displeasure.
“So, when are we going to pick Dad up?” Dae Hyun asked.
“Pick up? Is it true that Father can return home?” Said Soo Yin softly.
“I’ll call Dad’s doctor later to confirm his condition,” Said Dae Hyun.
“If father lives with us, what should I say if you are rarely home?” Soo Yin asked while narrowing her eyes.
“Calm down! I will often stay here for you,” Said Dae Hyun casually.
He won the game now.
“What about Aeri? She will look for where you are. I don’t want to get into trouble,” Said Soo Yin in a high tone.
“She is rarely at home, and I prefer to stay with you,” Dae Hyun replied as he looked into Soo Yin’s eyes.
Soo Yin looked away. She was feeling reluctant to look at her husband.
“Eat a lot! I don’t want daddy to think that I didn’t feed you,” Said Dae Hyun, then went out of the room, smiling.
‘Ouch, what to do?’ Soo Yin thought.
She already had no appetite and put the bowl on the nightstand.
She then laid her body back to the bed.
