Soo Yin immediately approached where everyone was chatting.
“Dae Hyun, what’s this?” whispered Soo Yin who was already standing behind her husband. She knitted her brows when she saw Mrs. Park who seemed to be in shock and staggered.
“It’s okay,” Dae Hyun said with a smile.
“It’s impossible for Park Soo Hyun to stain a woman and then just leave her.” Mrs. Park shook her head. For the second time, she had to feel a very painful heart. Knowing her son did something indecent outside of marriage. What would people say about their family? That was the thing that Mrs. Park afraid of. Anxious if her family will be labeled bad.
Soo Yin grabbed Dae Hyun’s arm. Afraid that the man would be carried away by emotions even though she had told him not to tell his mother about the matter before Park Soo Hyun came home.
“It’s up to you to believe me or not. What is clear is that this girl is currently pregnant with your granddaughter. Why do you not believe it so much? Back then, even when I was framed, Mother immediately believed without listening to what I said,” Dae Hyun said while glancing at Aeri with a cold gaze. It was still very clear in his mind. The night where he was caught in the hotel with Aeri. Even though he had denied it, no one had accepted the reason. All the family rebuked him so badly that he was forced to marry Aeri.
Mrs. Park felt her body very weak. Until she almost collapsed if there was no Soo Yin who immediately ran to support her.
“Let go, don’t touch me,” Mrs. Park said curtly as she brushed off Soo Yin’s hand that was holding her arm.
“Sorry, Mom.” Soo Yin immediately let go of Mrs. Park’s hand. Her heart was quite sliced but as best as she could, she tried to hold back the tears that had welled up in the corners of her eyes.
“Honey, we should just go home today,” said Dae Hyun then grabbed Soo Yin’s wrist. Invited her back into the room to pack some of their things.
Aeri panicked because at this moment she didn’t know what to do. There was no intention at all to make Dae Hyun had a fight with his mother. At first, she wanted Mrs. Park to hate Soo Yin even more.
“Mom, you’d better calm your mind first.” Aeri took her mother-in-law to the sofa not far from where they were standing.
It just so happened that Park Ji Hoon had just come down the stairs. He massaged his temples when he saw like something had just happened to his wife.
“Aeri, what happened to your mother?” said Park Ji Hoon. Then sat beside Mrs. Park who was massaging her head while looking down.
“Mother’s shocked to hear Dae Hyun’s statement that talks nonsense if Park Soo Hyun has run away from responsibility,” said Aeri.
“What does it mean?” Park Ji Hoon frowned. Didn’t understand what it all meant.
“Park Soo Hyun has impregnated a girl, Ji Hoon,” said Mrs. Park, her chest was heaving and her emotions were bubbling.
Her head hurt from having to think about something like this for a second time. It was unbelievable that her two sons had to do such a shameful thing.
Park Ji Hoon then got up from his seat. Then walked towards the guest room to make sure everything because all this time he only knew that Park Soo Hyun was not close to any girl.
Inside the room, Dae Hyun immediately helped Soo Yin to pack up a few pieces of clothes they brought. Alhough they intended to go home tomorrow after Hae Sok returned to Busan.
“Honey, why did you say everything to mom? Look, mom was really shocked to hear that. Didn’t you promise to let Park Soo Hyun be the one to say everything,” Soo Yin said worriedly.
“We can’t hide this forever. Mother has to know if it wasn’t you who caused Park Soo Hyun to leave,” Dae Hyun explained with his breath still catching up. Actually, he didn’t mean to be a child who was disobedient to his parents. However, according to him, his mother had gone too far because she was always linking Park Soo Hyun’s departure with Soo Yin.
“But what mom said is true. It seems that Park Soo Hyun left right after I saw met that night,” Soo Yin said sadly.
Dae Hyun let out a long sigh. He moved to sit next to Soo Yin and then grabbed her shoulders.
“Don’t blame yourself because you’re completely innocent. He’s such a coward to run away from responsibility.”
Knock… knock…
“Dae Hyun, can you come out? I want to talk to you,” said Park Ji Hoon as he continued to knock on the door.
“Wait a minute,” said Dae Hyun.
Dae Hyun looked back at his little wife to calm her down because it wasn’t her fault.
“Honey, I’m going out to see father first. Don’t think about something you don’t need to,” Dae Hyun messaged and then kissed Soo Yin’s forehead for a while.
Soo Yin nodded her head. Tried to carve a small smile on her lips.
“Go,” she said.
Dae Hyun immediately stepped out. It turned out that Park Ji Hoon was still not far from the front door of the room.
“What is wrong?” Dae Hyun said.
“We’d better talk outside.” Park Ji Hoon invited Dae Hyun to come out to the terrace. There, the place was quite quiet and far from Mrs. Park.
“Tell me what really happened to Park Soo Hyun? You must have said all that so that Soo Yin wouldn’t be blamed for Park Soo Hyun’s departure,” accused Park Ji Hoon who was standing with his back to Dae Hyun.
“So, does father think he’s so perfect that he wouldn’t do something like that? It’s up to you if you want to defend him. If you don’t believe me, you can meet the girl and ask her. Even though Park Soo Hyun did it while he was drunk but still … he should be responsible. Instead, he asked her to abort the pregnancy. I myself even felt embarrassed to meet her because of Park Soo Hyun’s actions,” explained Dae Hyun at length so that his father would know of everything.
“Tell me what’s her name?”
“She used to work at our hotel, her name is Jean. When Park Soo Hyun did it, she was working at the bar. But remember, don’t threaten, let alone ask her to abort the baby in her womb. Don’t make threats like what you did to Soo Yin. I know that you guys must have a conscience as parents.” Dae Hyun indirectly quipped his parents for daring to tell Soo Yin to leave him. Although Soo Yin never complained and told the truth, his wife was not good at lying. That was why he was able to know everything.
Park Ji Hoon was silent because Dae Hyun’s words pierced his heart.
“Don’t worry, we won’t possibly do that,” said Park Ji Hoon.
“Good,” said Dae Hyun.. He then entered the house first to meet Soo Yin again.
