“Special ability-user? Never mind that. You people came just at the right time. I was about to go look for you people to settle business. Let me see here, you guys have… 1, 2, 3… 10 people. How many are there in total?”
Albion nonchalantly asked.
“Hahaha! Did ya’ll hear that? This kiddo is pretty fearless! He doesn’t even know what special ability-users are! It seems that he is just an ignorant brat who was lucky enough to awaken early!”
The leader of the group laughed.
“Don’t think you are strong just because you have some ability, brat! I’m not afraid to tell you that we have 10 people here with guns and another 15 on the top deck! Even a Lv.10 Hunter will be riddled full of holes before he can do anything against this firepower!”
“Fortunately for you, you are a pretty boy and quite to my liking.” The leader licked his lips and said, “If you get down on your knees, beg for forgiveness, and bend over, I will forget about your audacious remark and spare you!”
“Why does he want me to bend over?”
Albion asked the person at his side.
“Little brother, he… he wants to f*ck you!” The captain said.
‘F*ck!’
Albion cussed.
He thought that might be the case from what he had seen and heard, but he did not expect the leader of the group to also be so depraved. Exactly how desperate as these men?
“Do you believe me if I said I can slap you into oblivion with this hand of mine?”
Albion asked.
His eyes slowly suffused with a cold light.
Perhaps due to his 25 months of cold, dark isolation, he had become tolerant and patient. But if people think he was a pushover due to this, they will be sorely mistaken and pay dearly for it.
“Hahaha!”
The group leader laughed.
He cautioned the men to withdraw their guns with his hand before walking straight up to Albion and looked him directly in the eye.
“I don’t believe it! Why don’t you show me? If you can even make me budge from this spot, it’ll be my loss!”
“Boss, are you sure that is wise? That brat is a special ability-user! He might be really powerful!” A gang member questioned with concern.
“What special ability-user? He is just an ignorant brat with a bit of pyrokinetic. It might be a bit uncommon below Lv.5 Hunters, but not all that rare exactly. Boss is a Lv.7 Hunter. There is nothing to worry about.” Another gang member inserted.
The group leader’s arrogance made Albion shake his head.
Arrogance and stupidity lead to one’s doom. But when a person has both, the person is simply beyond saving.
“Are you sure you want to take on this palm strike of mine directly?”
Albion asked.
He was giving the person one last chance to properly defend themselves. He was committed to killing these gang members, but it will also be his first time killing.
He was not prepared to do it in cold blood. He needed justifications and reason for his killing.
“Just give me your best shot, kiddo! I can take it!”
The group leader said.
‘No, you can’t.’
Albion voiced in his mind while feeling oddly nostalgic by these lines. They seemed to come from a particular movie he had once seen in his past life.
“Very well. Have a good trip to the afterlife.”
He casually spoke.
Meanwhile, the gang member was standing at the back and quietly discussing with crossed arms while Albion and the leader were confronting each other.
“Haiz, I know that look. The boss is at it again.”
“What can we say? These boat trips are simply too boring. We need some form of amusement to entertain ourselves.”
“I remember the last person that resisted was frustrated to death because they could not harm the boss in the least. The boss’s defense is quite terrifying compared to other Lv.7 Hunters.”
“I heard it’s because the boss practiced an ancient martial art called the Golden Body before the Apocalypse. Although the boss only managed to cultivate up to the initial success stage, it is no different to achieving mastery after becoming a Lv.7 Hunter.”
“Un, defensive martial arts like these are quite terrific. I also heard the boss can block bullets with his bare body. It is no wonder that he does not fear a little flame.”
“How long does everyone reckon the boy will last before he—”
Peng!
At this moment, a blurred figure flew past them and slammed into the metal wall behind, next to the entrance of the storage room. The entire room shook with vibrations from the impact.
Everyone was alarmed.
“What was that?”
“I think something just flew past.”
“Wait, where’s the boss?”
Another gang member asked.
The group was quickly startled as they looked towards Albion’s location, only to see the boy standing on the spot casually while their boss was nowhere to be seen.
“Guys, look! I think that thing is our boss!”
A younger member exclaimed.
Everyone turned back and saw an unrecognizable bloody mess pinned on a hugely indented wall. It resulted from Albion swatting the person to death in a single blow, too fast for anyone to see.
Nevertheless, the bloody mess could only be their boss. They immediately responded with grave expressions.
“Oh shit!”
“F*ck!”
“Kill him!”
RATATATA!
Everyone pulled out the assault rifles and rained bullets and hell upon Albion.
He could have chosen to evade the bullets if he so chooses, but the people behind him would have been riddled with holes.
At the same time, the people behind him were still incomprehensive about the situation. They only saw the guns pointed at Albion before they cried in warning, “Little brother, watch out!”
Peng! Peng! Peng!
The bullets were emptied on Albion’s body, but not a single one of them managed to cause Albion an iota of pain as they dropped to his feet like metal pressed studs.
“Holy f*ck! Is he still human?!”
“His body is more amazing than the boss’s Golden Body! Is this the legendary and indestructible Vajra Body?!”
“Shut the f*ck up and shoot!”
Magazines were emptied.
When they reached for their spare magazines, Albion made his move and dashed over like a streak of lightning; incredibly fast and swift!
Poof! Poof!
Albion sent out a series of slaps.
The gang members were clapped in the head one after the other. The stronger ones flew and imprinted themselves on the wall like their boss while the weaker ones had their heads detached from their body under the immense force.
One slap, one death.
No one survived Albion’s onslaught. They died so quickly, not a single cry of pain nor plea of mercy was heard.
Even until death, they did not know who they had offended.
The captive crew saw everything happened, but at the same time, they did not. Everything happened too quickly for their ordinary eyes to register.
They could only sit there with wide eyes in stunned silence even after the gang was decimated. They only snapped out of their daze after hearing Albion talk.
“It is still dangerous outside.. Everyone should wait here and endure the cold for a bit longer while I go and clean up the outside.”
