I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World Novel

Chapter 28 - Arriving At Silvercove Port

One day later, the ship arrived off the shores of Silvercove, Draco county. Looking at the land in the distance from inside the wheelhouse, Albion sighed emotionally. He was sick of the sea and finally able to get back to land after 25 months.

“We will be docking at Silvercove Port shortly, Young Master Albion.” Klein Seymour announced.

Albion nodded before casually asking, “How is your practice with the Earth-Shattering Fist over the past day, Mr. Klein?”

“Ahem…”

Klein Seymour immediately put on an embarrassed smile and said, “I am ashamed to say that out of everyone that practiced the Earth-Shattering Fist, my talents are the worse.”

“In other words?” Albion asked.

“I have yet to make any progress in the skill.” Klein Seymour admitted with his head lowered.

Albion paused for a moment before he sighed and said, “Take a walk with me.” After they moved to the top deck, he added, “Get the person who achieved the highest accomplishment in the Earth-Shattering Fist to see us.”

“Yes, Young Master Albion.”

Klein Seymour complied and went to get someone to call the person over. Shortly after, the person arrived and asks, “You called for me, captain?”

“Not me. Young Master Albion did.” Klein Seymour corrected.

The person nodded and turned to Albion before asking respectfully, “How can I help you, Young Master Albion?”

“Firstly, what is your name?”

Albion studied the person and could see that the first person had made significant progress in the Earth-Shattering Fist. This could be sensed by the subtle Inner Force coursing through the person’s body.

“My name is Gerald, Gerald Abrams, sir.”

“Un, very good, Gerald. Your talents for ancient martial arts are quite high. It only took you less than a day to master the Earth-Shattering Fist and produce some Inner Force.” Albion praised.

“Only people with Inner Force are considered true martial artists. Do you really have Inner Force, Gerald? And you got it from practicing the Earth-Shattering Force?” Klein Seymour asked with great surprise.

“Yes, captain.”

“Unbelievable.”

“Go ahead and demonstrate the Earth-Shattering Fist for your captain to see, Gerald,” Albion instructed.

“Right away, sir.”

Gerald obliged and immediately performed an Earth-Shattering Fist at the empty air in front and caused the wind to billow strongly from the shockwave.

Klein Seymour could feel that the power behind the fist was not too far off from his own full-powered fist as a Lv.3 Hunter with 20 EXP short from becoming a Lv.4 Hunter.

“So strong.”

“What do you understand from the Earth-Shattering Fist just now?” Albion asked Klein Seymour. The reason he asked Gerald Abrams to perform the Earth-Shattering Fist was due to the person being more proficient than himself in the fist technique already.

His proficiency was still at the basic level, while Gerald had already mastered the fist technique. Unlike Gerald, who spent the day practicing the fist technique, he was practicing the Ashura Empyrean Art.

“Ah?”

Klein Seymour was too busy admiring the power of Gerald’s fist, he forgot to study it. He chuckled awkwardly and said bluntly, “I don’t know.”

Albion was a bit speechless before he said, “Fine. What do you not understand about this Earth-Shattering Fist? This is just a basic technique on the foundation level. Anyone would have at least achieved some success by now, no?”

“I am not too sure. I vaguely understand the concept, but when I try to execute the technique, I am unable to follow through and generate the instantaneous burst with my second fist.” Klein Seymour said helplessly.

“Demonstrate for me.”

Klein Seymour did as he was directed and attempted to execute the Earth-Shattering Fist. However, only a soft gust of wind was produced.

“Your second fist lacks both speed and precision. I can see that you are trying, but there seems to be some inconsistencies or limitation in your execution. Did you suffer an injury to your right arm before?” Albion asked.

He was secretly amazed at himself for being able to quickly notice the flaw in Mr. Klein’s execution. Perhaps, this was also a part of the Dark Emperor’s instincts.

“Eh? You’re exactly right, Young Master Albion. I have indeed injured my right arm in an accident that left it casted for two months in the past.” Klein Seymour responded with surprise after recalled the incident.

“And? What about your left arm? You injured that one too?” Albion queried.

“Eh? No, my left arm is still fine.”

“You’re telling me you spent a whole day practicing the Earth-Shattering Fist, and not once did you bother to use your left arm for practice? Are you trying to be lopsided? Execute the Earth-Shattering Fist with the left arm for me.” Albion instructed.

Klein Seymour chuckled drily and tested with his left arm. There was awkwardness in its execution, but after repeated attempts under Albion’s urging, a small shockwave was generated.

Vroosh!

The wind billowed outward like a single ripple in the water.

Klein Seymour was immediately jubilant after his successful execution and expressed his gratitude to Albion. “I did it! Thank you for your guidance, Young Master Albion!”

Albion waved his hand nonchalantly and said, “It was nothing. You should continue to practice with your left arm until you master the Earth-Shattering Fist and produce Inner Force. Only by producing Inner Force will you be considered a true ancient martial artist. However, you should consult a doctor and see what can be done about your right arm.”

“I will follow your advice.” Klein Seymour cupped his fist respectfully to Albion. Even if Albion had not mentioned it, Klein Seymour intended to see a doctor later. To be able to execute the Earth-Shattering Fist with both arms were naturally better than one.

Seeing that the ship was about to port, Albion said, “Send your address and contact information. We will enter the city separately and meet at a later date. Hopefully, you will also have the paperwork and residence settled for me by the time we meet again.”

“Why do we need to enter separately?”

“There’s a high chance that the Bloodmoon Gang have their people stationed nearby to observe our ship’s arrival. If they don’t know the relationship between us, it can be used to our advantage.” Albion explained.

Of course, he had another reason. He did not want to be noticed and stand out. Silvercove was a big city filled with unknown variables. It was best not to start trouble without establishing his foothold in the city.

“I see. What you said makes sense. The Bloodmoon Gang will definitely try to secretly contact the members they stationed on the ship after we are gone. They will definitely be suspicious when they find no one is inside the ship and will try to recall the face of everyone that left the ship this night. I have some cash on me. Please take and use it along with this phone for now.”

Albion accepted the $500 cash from Klein Seymour and placed it in his pockets before he glanced at the black phone with interest.

“Is this a Nokia series?”

“A what series? No, this a Brick series; very durable with long battery life.” Klein Seymour explained.

“A Brick series? Hahaha! The name suits perfectly.” Albion cracked up before shaking his head amusingly.

He began to wonder if someone else had transmigrated back in time to this alternate world before him and rewrote the names and history of everything.
