A few moments later, Albion departed for the Frost Demon’s Lair with Fenrira before the surrounding crowd approached City Lord Baschmi to congratulate him.
“Congratulations on your breakthrough to the True Immortal Realm, City Lord.”
“Haiz,” City Lord Baschmi sighed before saying, “What’s the point of becoming True Immortal? I feel like I’ve lost a lot for this achievement.”
Although he became a True Immortal, he lost his freedom in return.
If Albion didn’t order him to continue working as the city lord and manage Blue Wyvern City, he might have considered picking up the Buddhist Scripture and severing all his mortal attachments and desires.
“Many people would kill to become a True Immortal, City Lord; you might have lost a lot, but you also gained a lot.”
“Right, True Immortals are said to have limitless lifespans. So now that the limited lifespan of mortals no longer constrains you, you have all the time in your life to regain what you lost.”
The crowd consoled him.
Upon hearing their words, City Lord Baschmi felt a little better as he mutters, “You all might be right…”
“Still, did you really hand over the city seal and proof of transfer to that person, City Lord? Who exactly is that person?” a male dwarf asked.
The rest of the crowd perked their ears with rapt attention.
“Lord Albion… He might be a supreme existence…” City Lord Baschmi replied after much thought, not knowing how else to describe the person.
“A supreme existence?”
“What does that mean?”
The crowd was puzzled by the two words.
They weren’t sure if the city lord spoke the two words in a general sense or if there were other significant meanings attached to them.
“It means that he is someone we can never offend unless we want to court death,” City Lord Baschmi stated.
Even if he slaughtered the whole world, he wasn’t sure he could cultivate even a tenth of Lord Albion’s murderous aura.
And yet, Lord Albion possessed such a bloody and baleful aura.
Such a person should have slaughtered the lives of countless worlds and definitely wouldn’t be a kind person.
Getting on the person’s bad side was the last thing City Lord Baschmi wanted.

Meanwhile, Albion continued to head for the central area of the frozen layer of hell that descended on the Netherfrost Blizzard Realm.
Frost Demons continuously spawned and crawled out of the icy ground before baring their fangs and claws at Albion and Fenrira.
However, an invisible wall prevented them from crossing a certain distance.
Ding!
<[Divine Netherworld Perception] talent has been activated>
<[Divine Nether Spring Calling] skill has been learned>
<50 units of divine energy has been deducted>
<[Balance]: 79/1000 Divine Energy>
Shortly after making the exchange, the corners of Albion’s lips slightly twitched at the expenditure of the two divine abilities.
As the saying goes: the more you earn, the more you spend.
Albion could not agree more.
He becomes so stingy when his divine energy is low. But when it is high, he doesn’t even think twice before spending it.
Nevertheless, Albion and Fenrira shortly arrived at the central icy region of hell’s frozen layer before Fenrira turned her gaze to Albion.
“What are we doing here, Master?”
“I’ll be visiting this realm’s netherworld. As for you, you’ll be staying behind since you can’t follow me to the netherworld.”
“Eh? I can’t follow you to the netherworld, Master?”
“No, you cannot. The deathly energy of the netherworld will corrode your body and mind before killing you.”
“Oh…”
Fenrira understood why her master didn’t want to bring her along.
“Nevertheless, I won’t leave you right away—not until I raise your cultivation to a satisfactory level since you decided to follow me,” Albion stated.
Fenrira’s eyes brightened at once before exclaiming with joy, “Master is the best!”
“Well, what are you waiting for? Start hunting the Frost Demons for EXP while I refine some drugs—I mean, pills,” Albion urged as he signaled with a snap of his fingers.
Damn that Generous Drug Lord title of his.
The mental barrier holding back Frost Demons, which had gathered in large numbers since their arrival, quickly disappeared in that instance.
Roar!
The Frost Demons growled, hissed, and roared as they all charged at Fenrira and Albion.
However, Albion did not pay them a single shred of attention as he casually took out his pill cauldron and proceeded with his pill refinement, using the newly acquired spirit herbs he got from City Lord Baschmi.
Swoosh!
The Frost Demons were suddenly ripped to shreds with a few swipes of Fenrira’s partially transformed ice claws as she prevented the Frost Demons from interfering with Albion’s pill refinement.
Although the Frost Demons were strong, possibly around the Early-stage Spirit Refinement Realm, she was stronger, thanks to her Hunter Level bonus.
She had not been idle in Stronghold GC-01 and reached Lv.25 Hunter from hunting the bugs underneath the stronghold during the time Albion was gone.
Ding!
<You have gained 365 EXP>
<You have gained 320 EXP>
<You have gained 370 EXP>
…
<You have leveled up>
<You have leveled up>
…
The Frost Demons gave good EXP, and within mere moments, Fenrira leveled up to Lv.30 Hunter without much effort.
Killing bugs for days could not even begin to compare to killing Frost Demons for a few moments.
Even so, the speed of her next level up became noticeably much slower after reaching Lv.30 as the level-up requirement increased by tenfold.
After Fenrira hit Lv.31 Hunter, Albion finished refining his first batch of Grade-4 Moon Spirit Pills before grabbing one and tossing it over.
“Rira, fetch.”
Fenrira heard her master’s voice before she turned her head to look.
Upon seeing a pretty blue pill drawing an arc in the air, her body instinctively moves towards it as she takes a leap and catches it with her mouth like a dog catching its treat.
The pill quickly melts in Fenrira’s mouth and flows throughout her body before her aura surges towards the Aura King Realm, which surprises her greatly.
Fenrira’s eyes sparkle with an azure glow in that instance.
