Rieta went out over the fence with faltering steps.
The Duke who had been waiting came up and naturally asked her in the language of the kingdom,
“Is there anything uncomfortable?”
Perhaps this was how the Duke mastered the language of the Kingdom before Rieta could learn the Imperial language.
With such worries in her heart, Rieta smiled and replied in pleasant Imperial language.
“It’s perfect.”
“That’s great.”
He nodded after carefully rechecking the lengths of Rieta’s sleeves and pants
“Now you can climb trees safely.”
“I can?”
“You’d better do it when you’re young. If you fall from a tree when you’re older, your treatment period will be longer.”
It sounded like Rieta was going to fall from the tree again, so she shook her head.
“I won’t fall off. Now.”
“That’s very good.”
While the Duke ordered a few more pants from Madame Emily, Rieta turned her head and looked at Noel.
He held back his laughter, stamping his feet together.
Was it that funny? She thought she was dressed very plainly.
He approached Rieta with a soft face and bowed down exaggeratedly.
“Good morning. Sir Liz.”
“…..Sir?”
When Rieta asked, he looked up and laughed.
“It means you look as manly as a knight. Stu…”
He tried to add ‘stupid’ as usual, but stopped after looking at his father.
“Manly?”
“I mean, it’s just a little bit. Sir Liz.”
That sounded like a compliment, but she felt a bit upset because Noel’s expression seemed to mock her.
Really.
At times like this, she could see why Noel was dumped by the heroine and became a second male lead.
He treated people like jesters.
Rieta fluttered back over to the screen.
The clothes she would try this time were ivory dresses.
While Madame Emily buttoned up the back, Rieta stared at the drifting lace hem near her ankles.
‘It looks like wheat waving in the wind.’
It was delicately pretty, gently swaying even with the slightest movement.
‘I must be careful not to step on the lace…’
Perhaps it was because of that thought, and after she put on her clothes, she only crept on her toes.
Her eyes were only on the edge of her skirt.
The lace peeked out from under the dress with her every step.
Making sure to be cautious, Rieta unknowingly made herself appear even more lovely.
Even the blunt Duke was a little amazed at this moment, questioning the mental state of King Liz.
Of course, he thought that the King must have been a madman.
Rieta was a child whose entire impression changed just by switching her clothing. If he had a daughter like this, he would have given her various designs and colors for her to try on so that his child could find something she liked best.
Wouldn’t all parents be proud of their children?
Why did she only dress in worn-out clothes, even as a member of the royal family?
Of course, when she wore the gown, his servants admired Rieta’s cuteness.
“Madam Emily, what else did you bring with you?”
Madame quickly opened another bag filled with accessories as the Duke asked.
The first thing she recommended was a miniature hat.
“She can wear a little gem that matches the color of her eyes. If you place it slightly at an angle like this….Oh my, she’s cute. You look like a princess from a fairy tale.”
Soon, there was a second candidate, a ribbon.
“It’s made of the same fabric as this dress. If you hang it on your hair, look at it. It’s quite elegant, isn’t it?”
The Duke nodded. He couldn’t believe how her presence changed just through her hair accessories.
He slightly understood why the emperor praised Madame Emily. She was one who drew maximum results from minimal change, a truly great stylist.
“This is on loan from the jeweler Marion.”
The next thing she brought out was none other than a small tiara.
Ordinary aristocratic ladies were not allowed to wear it.
Of course, Rieta was exempt from this. She was a descendant of a royal family in name and blood. There was more than enough justification to use a tiara.
“It’s cute and small, but elegant nonetheless. In fact, Marion made me bring this.”
Emily didn’t like recommending products she didn’t make herself. Still, Rieta looked amazing with the sparkling tiara on her head.
