I like them big, do you? Novel

Chapter 15 - Showtime

Chapter 15: Showtime

It was a weird mechanic, but probably due to those balaclavas, no players could see each others’ statuses.

No name, HP, and MP were seen above the players, and the whole situation seemed straight out of the real-life movie.

It was like real life, though.

Reylin taunted players with his words, and the results were beyond wonderful!

Five of them pushed Reylin to the flames and threatened to kick him into it! Their eyes rippled with happiness and a little sadistic glue, and one of them parted his lips, “So? Don’t you want to say something? I guess you can scream, and I will make your death quicker! Dying by flames? That must be the worst! Haha!”

Reylin snickered, “Splendid. You are splendid indeed. It’s actually hard for me to convey through words how happy I am right now… But you see, I am not that eloquent, and I think deeds tell more than words!”

“Huh?” The player titled his head.

And as he did, Reylin threw his palm forward, sending the fireball straight into his face!

His first enemy’s face disappeared within the flames, and Reylin’s laughter awakened the rest from their stupor but also hid the man’s cries!

They looked at Reylin with shock, but their bodies thrust their weapons forth!

Yes, before they all stepped in here, players received back their inventory, and they could take out their weapons at any moment.

Some did it just to hide their skills.

But before the player with a unique class, no one could keep their sneaky method for too long!

“Hahaha!” Reylin laughed, but he read each of their movements.

Those were all offensive skills, and the weapons lit up in the silver mana. That mana gathered at the tip and turned weapons sharpened, allowing players to cut through their enemies even if their abilities were amateur.

Based on his feelings, Reylin threw himself to the side and threw the fireball at the man with the strongest skill.

[-23 HP!]

[-30 HP!]

[-17 HP!]

[-24 HP!]

All those players didn’t have the same level.

What Reylin did was to see through the mana behind their skills. He chose the man who seemed the strongest and hurled his fireball at him while allowing others to close distance! In this way, Reylin survived before throwing himself into the flames.

And would Reylin really waste the chance to pull someone together with himself?

Reylin snickered, “Showtime!”

He clenched his left hand and raised it before the four faces, unfolding the flames coming from the fireball punch!

BANG!

“AHHH!” The four screamed in tandem, and their bodies flew to the flame circle!

Reylin followed them immediately and pounced like a tiger after one of them!

“What are those abilities?! How can someone… You…” The first prey shouted within these flames, his eyes looking down at the HP bar plummeting down… He was filled with disappointment and despair, just that as his pain sensors were too low.

But as Reylin appeared before him, his eyes expanded, and he noticed, “You are fine… Wait! Y-You must be that crazy-”

Before any more words left this man’s lips, Reylin wrapped his arms around the man and covered his lips with his hand, “Please, watch your tongue, or you will hurt someone’s feelings. I happen to have a fragile heart.”

Reylin whispered a few lies in succession, his heart beating fast but body remaining composed.

Those flames were his playground, and no way he would lose himself unless the opponent was someone who could withstand the fire.

A sadistic part of him woke up, and the lies flooded the man’s mind, “How many NPCs have you killed with that little knife of yours? What if they had families? Oh, you crazy mofo. Would you be able to bear the saddened looks and tears of their children? Maybe you would also kill them? You know they don’t respawn, and they talk like real people? That’s so wrong, man… Oh, so wrong…”

The man tried to speak, but Reylin’s hand didn’t allow him to utter one word, and he died with his veins nearly bursting out of his head.

His body didn’t stay, and it turned into particles that flooded the prison cell.

“Looks like they’ve put some magic in this place. No loot for all this hard work?” Reylin jested, then threw his eyes to the arena.

Two individuals stood out, and precisely those two killed the prisoners who had survived Reylin’s fireball punch.

They came out of the flames with dropped HP, and they were literally asking to get killed.

Looking at these two, Reylin concluded, “They are working together.” He smirked, naturally regenerated his HP, and soaked himself in flames with his mana already full!

The other two prisoners were actually twin sisters.

If anyone knew it, they wouldn’t have been surprised, and some more proper plans would have been made.

They liked to stay in the spotlight, so Reylin speaking first was a thorn to their time here.

But since he had just disappeared in flames, the twins forgot about him and focused on others.

Their weapon of choice was long swords.

Both were dual wielders, and their swordsmanship was also polished, which allowed them to overthrow skills at ease.

The proper swordsmanship would be essential in the later stages.

It already influenced players greatly, and many of them would realize it soon.

After the twins killed their enemies, they eased up and looked around for the unknown woman! The epic quest they had just successfully accomplished genuinely excited them as they wanted to set on the dangerous and full of killing path.

However, no woman appeared, and the twins stood with their bodies exhausted and sweaty.

At last, Reylin came out of the flames.

He did it silently, wholly composed and heart filled with killing intent.

His whole body dragged the flames along with him, and he appeared behind one of the twins with sinister eyes, “Flamethrower.”

His newest skill burst out of his palm, and in the blink of an eye, the twin’s beginner clothes melted.

Her back exposed the beginner bra as she fell onto the ground.

“Hahaha!” Finally, Reylin could laugh.

His laughter fell onto the twin together with the fireball which he carried on his palm! It seemed like he just passed the ball to the lady’s scorched back!

“Ahhh!” The twin cried, unable to move an inch!

“Who told you to kill them all?! I wanted to have some fun too, you know?” Reylin shouted alongside his laughter.

But the other twin was just as fast.

Her two swords intercrossed, ready to hack at Reylin’s neck at any time!

He whispered, “Fast, but I am ready for it too.” His clenched hand went forth, then using the explosion from the unruly flames, Reylin recoiled behind.

He landed just before the flames, his hand sinking in and conjuring another fireball! He threw that at the twin with the least wounds!

And since his fireball had too little cooldown, Reylin was like a maniac who kept throwing those.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The two swords protected the twins, but as the lady fought, her swords’ durability heavily fell, and the flames splashed abundantly near her.

The splashed flames turned into fireworks that wounded the standing twin!

“That’s enough. You three are the winners and worthy players to join our ranks.” The unknown woman stepped in, and her hand landed on Reylin’s shoulder.

In an instant, his mana froze, and he was deemed useless.
