When Kurayami and Ophis sat down he studied the devil kings. Sirzechs and Ajuka were above all devils he met, but that did not mean he feared them. Falbium looked serious but ready to fall asleep. Leviathan had a big happy smile on her face, but when he looked at Rias he was not impressed. She was far too weak, and top of that her body was that of someone who had not trained their body a day in their life.
He felt her demonic power it felt wild with no control like she never bothered to try to control it. Why did they believe someone like that would be accepted by him.. Are they looking down on him
The devil king also studied both of them, but Leviathan really felt he was way different than the little boy she met last time years ago. He was huge and looked to be made of muscle. His suit was like a suit that a warrior would wear and his dark-tinted sunglasses hid his eyes and she got interested in what was behind them.
Kurayami coughed. “Greetings, I am Kurayami Himejima. I assume this girl is Rias Gremory who you want me to marry. Well, she is far too weak and looks spoiled. Her arms and body are too thin like she neer trained her body a day in her life. Her demonic power is wild like she never bothered to train it. I feel like your looking down on me.”
When the devil kings heard him he called her weak. Sure she was not the strongest, but she was not weak Sirzechs also felt a bit miffed that even Rias appearance did not do anything for him. Ajuka was correct that appearance did not matter to him. Power and mindset did and she did not fit the bill.
Sirzechs had a wyrly smiled. “You don’t want to marry her.” Kurayami shook his head and he felt Ophis pull his sleeve. “Something wrong?” Ophis looked at Rias. “Weak.” He almost broke out laughing and Rias was bright red. Kurayami took a deep breath and explained.
“Not in the slightest and may I told you already I am marrying a devil. She is the ss class stray devil Kuroka. Last I heard her little sister is in Rias peerage and my fiance wants her sister back.” Rias frowned.
“Hold on, she is a criminal who killed her master. Koneko is my servant and I will not give he-” They all shut up when a dense black aura was coming off his body in droves. His sunglass was beginning to glow dark violet as even those dark lenses did not hide the glow of his eyes. Sirzechs and Ajuka wanted to get up, but they felt they would die. Ophis was not affected in the slightest.
“Let’s get one thing clear, Kuroka is no criminal. Her ‘master’ committed cruel experiments on her and when he deemed her a failure he was going to go on to Shirone. Kuroka did not manage to take her sister with her and somehow now even her sister is a slave. If Kuroka did not do it herself I would have wiped out the whole clan myself.”
Rias was covered in sweat and Kurayami retracted his aura. “I will marry a devil. It will be Kuroka and If you want us to have a marriage to have peace? Let me tell you I do no need this marriage, you do. However, if you still want me to marry a devil of your choice I will choose. Are we clear?” Leviathan nodded.
“We did no know. We know some devils are cruel, but we didn’t know about her reason. If you wish we will remove her from the stray devil’s record.” Sirzechs nodded. “I agree, if what you say is true she is a victim.” Ajuka nodded. “I see no issue.” Falbium nodded.
Kurayami took a deep breath to calm down. “Well, now that is out of the way, I take our engagement is off.”
Sirzechs nodded. “It is unfortunate, but you are right that we need this marriage more than you. Grigori is much stronger than us now. The Great King faction will definitely try to offer you a marriage of their choice if you don’t marry Rias. Are you still open to a marriage with a devil?”
Rias was both happy yet ashamed that he wanted this marriage even less she did. He even called her weak. She was going to speak, but Kurayami shot her a look. Something told her to keep quiet and they all wanted to know what was behind those glasses It seemed that there was something behind them that drew you in. Leviathan smiled.
“What’s behind the glasses? I want to see, can you show me?’ Kurayami looked at Ophis and she nodded. He removed his glasses showing two infinity signs. When the glasses came off his aura was off the charts. Shin’s eyes also glowed with the same signs and he looked at Ophis.
“May I introduce my mate, Ophis, the Ouroboros Dragon.” The devil kings were shocked as she was the strongest being in this world. If she was his mate they needed this peace treaty more than ever. Levithan looked at her and she was a true beauty.
“How long have you two known each other?” Ophis looked over. “Two years.” That was not a long time, but at the same time, it meant that Kurayami could definitely defeat them all. Not to mention Azrael who could do the same. Falbium yawned as he was a rather lazy man and he did not care.
“Well if you do not want to marry her just choose someone else. Not like it matters.” Sirzechs looked at Falbium with a stern look. Falbium shrugged. “Neither wants to marry. Just let him choose. I am leaving.” Falbium left to go sleep and Ajuka got up as well.
“I will go as well. Kurayami, I hear Azazel has been working on some projects. When he arrives I wish to speak to him.” He left as well leaving Sirzechs and Leviathan alone. Rias left as well as she was tired of this. Her pride took a blow and she wanted to go to her peerage. Now it was just the four of them here. Sirzechs sighed and Leviathan looked over and asked.
“So, you are fine with marrying someone as long as your choice is involved.” Kurayami nodded.
“It has to do with my own choice. I mean would you want to marry a stranger?” She shook her head. “I wouldn’t know, as a satan I can’t be forced to marry.” Kurayami looked at Levithan while putting his sunglasses back on. “How about you then?” Sirzechs and Leviathan froze and looked at him.
She got bright red and pointed at herself. “Me?”
He nodded. “You seem cheerful and strong and as I said I will not marry someone weak, so who better than a satan.” Sirzechs smiled.
“Of course she would not mind.” Levithan shook her head. “Hey, you can’t decide on your own. I am a satan you know.” Sirzechs patted her on the shoulder. “Oh dear, if you can’t do it then maybe Sona will.”
Leviathan took a deep breath and glared at Sirzechs. “No way. not my Sona.” Sirzechs got a cheeky smile. “Well, that’s too bad.” Kurayami looked at Levithan.
“You do not have to agree to my suggestion, but most devils are too weak and prideful. I consider most devils fools and they are too stupid. Most of my future wives are all very strong and I only accept the strong and open-minded.” He got up and Ophis took his arm as they left together, but before he left he looked back.
“Please keep Ophis a secret. I rather not destroy any fool who feels it be a good idea to mess with her.” Kurayami and Ophis left and Sirzechs and Leviathan were left to think. Sirzechs looked at his friend and thought about it.
“Would you even consider marrying him. As we said before when the Great King faction hears about this they will send a marriage proposal and they will gain more influence than before. No devil in our faction besides you and a few others are stronger enough to reach his criteria.”
She stopped joking around and began to think about it. “I am over 300 years old and yet that is not much compared to Ophis. She seems attached to him and you saw his eyes. He is using her power meaning he is a being we do not want to face. However, I don’t want him to think I would only marry him for his power as that would be disrespectful and I do not know. I will think about it.”
Sirzechs sighed. “Whatever you decided only you can choose. Besides, even if he looks down on most devils he still said he does not mind marrying one. In a way, he is right as devils are too proud. Just look what happed to Sairaorg and Kuroka.” Sirzechs got up and left with Grayfia. Levithan was left to think about her choice
Kurayami was walking arm in arm with Ophis until she smelled food. She pulled his arm and he looked over. “Smell food.”
He nodded and they went to the big banquet where she got a plate full of food of different types. Mostly sweets. From the door entered a red Quilin who was two meters tall. He looked like a mix of a deer and a horse unlike Zhang who looked like a mix of a deer and tiger, but he was Zhang’ss father. He walked up to them and bowed his head politely.
“Hello, I am Enku. Sirzechs pawn and the father of your Quillin. I wanted to speak to my son if you do not mind.” Kurayami nodded. “He also wants to speak to you. He wants to thank you.”
He summoned Zhang who was in his shrunk form and Enku looked at him son. Zhang was the same size as his father and Enku was proud of how his son had grown. His son felt stronger than him and that was a good thing.
“Look at how you have grown. I am proud of you my son.” Zhang took a deep breath and bowed. “Father, I thank you fo sending me to the master. I would not be as stong as I am if not for him.” Zhang could talk, but he just choose not to. He looked at Kurayami who patted him on the neck. “Go, talk to your father.” Both Quilins left to talk as father and son.
Ophis was scarfing down food and he looked over and he sighed. “Hey, after this event we won’t spend as much time together. I need to put some attention to the rest or I will neglect them.” Ophis stopped eating and looked down “Oh.” She kept eating and he could feel she was sad. He sighed and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
“How about I make it up to you?” She looked over while pouting. He swore there were tears in those big black eyes of hers. “How?” He smiled. “I know you are a glutton and love to eat. There is this school all about cooking in Tokyo Japan and the chest chefs in the world are from there. Want to try some?”
She thought about it for a minute and nodded. “Better be good.” He smiled “What if it is bad?” She looked at him. “I will bite you.” He and Ophis were being looked at by Rias and her peerage who were here. Right now it was only Rias, Koneko, Kiba, and Gasper who was sealed away. Koneko looked at Kurayami and his smell was just like her sister.
“Nee-san?” Rias looked at Koneko oddly. “What did you say?” Koneko looked at Rias and looked at the ground. “He smells like nee-san. Like he spends a lot of time with her.” Kiba had a big smile on his face, but it was full of lies. His smile was fake and as he was full of hate.
“He is very strong. I feel if I tried anything I would be cut up into chunks. That is not even walking about his sacred gear. I assume the dog is Canis Lyacoan. Not only is he a fallen angel, but he also has a Longinus.” A few devils were looking at him and Ophis, but no one dared approach except one. Sairaorg walked up to them and he smiled.
“I hear you are a fallen angel, is it true?” Kurayami looked at Sairagor and he was impressed. A body like his was one built with blood, sweat, and tears. He could see the effort Sairaorg and that deserved his respect.
Kurayami stood up and extended his hand. “I am, I am kurayami Himejima. May I know your name?” Sairaorg shook his hand and both meant began to crush each other’s hands. Sairaog felt the pressure, but Kurayamu felt touki that was built from the effort put in.
“I am Sairaog Bael, next heir to the great Bael clan.” Kurayami nodded and pulled his hand back. “You have my respect Sairaog. You must have trained hard to achieve a body like that:” Sairaog nodded. “I was born with no demonic power, so my body was all I had. I am glad you see the effort I put into it.”
Sairaog walked away. “I would like to have a spar with you.” Kurayami nodded. “Same, get stronger Sairaorg.” Kurayami found a devil worthy of his respect. He did not expect to see that and he sat back down and started to eat with Ophis.
‘He is worthy to be my friend. Seems that not all devils are prideful fools.’
