Noah for a few seconds did not know what to put in that part, but for some reason he believed it would be interesting to input a certain name.
[Lucifer]

Noah, seeing this message, was in doubt. He really liked his own appearance, but using his own appearance could bring some unnecessary problems in the future that he preferred to avoid.
[I wish to create a new one.]
After a few minutes of personalizing his character, Noah kept his height in addition to adding a pair of red horns and slightly changing the skin tone to match the horns. For facial expressions, he just changed them to something that fit a stereotypical demon and confirmed the choice.

After this message, Noah noticed that his surroundings were changing as if he were traveling through dimensions, until suddenly he found himself standing in the middle of a large underground square. The light surrounding the place was generated from crystals at the top of the giant cave.
Looking around, Noah could see hundreds, if not thousands, of people with different types of appearances: women who looked like fairies sporting huge wings, men who looked like big stone golems, beings with bodies made entirely of water. Noah heard that people usually spent money buying cosmetic items that changed the appearance of their characters, but after he learned how expensive these items were, he didn’t believe that so many people had spent money on them.
But from what he could see, it was almost impossible to find someone who had a “basic” appearance. All players had something that made them unique, be it someone who looked like a skeleton, or someone who apparently looked like a little chubby pig.
‘At least I won’t have to worry about getting attention with a look like this.’ Noah was relieved to realize that his demon appearance would not be as unique as he imagined.
[You have been invited to join a tutorial game. Do you wish to accept?]
[Yes.]
Noah responded instantly. A small timer appeared floating in front of him until, when reaching zero, a strange portal materialized below Noah before he fell through.
The fall lasted only a second until he realized he was in another cave, this time a darker one. Around him, four more portals appeared before other people fell to their feet and a small chubby pig fell on its belly to the floor.
Noah looked strangely at his apparent teammates and saw that in addition to the sprawled out pig there was a teenager wearing a cheerleading outfit, a man with a big cat head and another man wearing a strange purple suit. These people hadn’t even done the tutorial yet and had already spent money buying clothes for their characters; that was incomprehensible to Noah.
But looking at the floor, he saw something that made even less sense than the strange clothes of the people standing next to him – that chubby little pig. ‘Why would anyone choose that?’ Noah wondered.
[Welcome players! Valorwatch is a game where in each match a random game mode will be chosen, varying between Objectives Control, Escort, Arena, and the mode of the week. In the tutorial, you will be playing Arena mode. The team that succeeds in eliminating the other team’s players the most times in 15 minutes will win the match.]
After this warning, nothing more was informed to the players, but the only one who had doubts about what to do was Noah since he never dedicated any time toward the game. The other players had already watched many videos on the internet that even without the tutorial they would already know what to do; that was clear when the chubby little pig got up off the floor, and running with two legs, he whizzed by at a frightening speed past Noah.
‘This agility… He may have a Rank E Blessing…’ Noah thought as he saw the player leave without saying anything.
“Let’s kill some bots, hehe,” the man with the big cat’s head laughed as he ran in the same direction as the little pig. The other two people also ran away excitedly while looking for the enemy team.
Noah was still a little lost. ‘What did he mean by ‘bots’?’
Not knowing what to do, Noah just followed the group from behind and watched what they were doing. As this mode was the tutorial, what he needed to do here would be to learn, and if there was one thing that Noah was used to doing, it was learning before acting, thus looking for the best strategy among all the possibilities so as not to be caught in an unawares situation.
The group did not have to run long before meeting the 5 robots. When Noah saw them, a message appeared floating in front of him.
[These are tutorial bots. They will act as Blessed but are controlled by artificial intelligence in tutorial mode. In PvP matches, bots are replaced by other players.]
‘Hmm, so that’s what they meant by bots; in this tutorial we won’t have to kill other humans.’ Noah finally understood what the game meant.
Sitting on top of a tree, Noah noticed that the members of his group were complete amateurs. In fact, to say that they were amateurs would be a compliment; the way they fought was that bad. The sword movements of the man with the cat’s head had almost no technique, just using the basic concept of what was taught in schools. The girl in the cheerleader outfit apparently had a Blessing from the god of light, but instead of using this light to heal the team itself, she was trying to increase the intensity of the light in order to burn the bots.
The only one in the group that was not making disastrous moves was the little pig, which because of the great agility he had, was able to move fast enough to hit and not be hit while battling the bots.
The Blessing of this little piglet was very similar to the Blessing of Jasper’s that Noah had seen. In the same way that Jasper used the increased agility provided by the Blessing to become practically untouchable in battle, this strange little pig was doing the same thing as if he had a lot of experience in doing it.
Honestly, after thinking about it, Noah realized that, of this group, the only one who apparently had any real skill and experience was the little pig. The other players were acting as if they had never participated in a battle in their lives.
As to play the game, someone would need to be 16 years old, most likely these other players must have just awakened their Blessings and came to play directly. When Noah was 15 years old this game didn’t exist yet, so he didn’t know how big the hype was for teenagers to be able to play with the Blessed celebrities.
While the girls mostly dreamed of being able to fight alongside the handsome Blessed celebrities on television, the boys often dreamed of having the chance to join a match with a famous Blessed beauty and win their hearts.
Noah was not particularly interested in getting into this battle without knowing exactly what to do, but from what he was seeing, the sloppy fighting style that his team was using was causing them to die over and over. The initial excitement they were feeling, thinking they were going to kill the bots easily, disappeared completely after they each died a third time.
Looking at the corner of his vision, Noah saw that 5 minutes had passed and the score was 17 – 4, with the bots currently winning. At this point, the players who had hoped to walk a great path of glory immediately rising to a high ranking in the game and become professional stars, were now feeling very ashamed. Desperate not to lose in the game tutorial, the only one who was still fighting without worrying about these things was the little pig, who even though he died once, was responsible for three of the four kills that his team currently had.
At 7 minutes into the match, when the cheerleader died again, she saw Noah sitting on a branch of a tree and was enraged. While they were there killing themselves to win the match, was one of their team members actually sitting and watching them lose? “Hey, you!” she shouted at Noah.
Noah heard someone shouting in his direction and saw that it was the cheerleader girl. “Yes?” he asked curiously.
“Don’t you see that we’re going to lose? Why won’t you do anything?” she asked indignantly, especially after seeing that he genuinely didn’t know why she was yelling at him. ‘This noob doesn’t even know what to do in the game. If it weren’t for him we would be winning. Yes, that’s it!’ she mused to herself.
“But we are not going to lose,” Noah replied calmly.
“Are you stupid? Look at the score; the game is 21 – 5. It is almost impossible to turn around those scores in less than 10 minutes. We will lose because of you!” the girl yelled at Noah, venting her frustration at having died five times.
“Nothing is impossible,” Noah said with a smile, which with the demon appearance he had, it looked slightly scary. He then disappeared in a burst of flame and appeared behind one of the bots with a dagger, cutting off its head.
The cheerleader stood with her mouth open, not knowing what to say when she saw this.
