( Celestials POV )
Enel, like many other celestials had given up on the idea of defeating the perfect warrior after a few hundred failed attempts.
Although he did not say it outright, his heart felt it, as he understood that the gap between himself and the perfect warrior was insurmountable.
The first time when he felt some real hope was when Rudra ascended. That day, after many centuries, there was some real excitement in the celestial realm and in the years that followed, his attempts to bring the perfect warrior down had always been an interesting tale to hear.
However, despite all the hype, even Rudra fell short of giving the perfect warrior any real challenge and his failure made Enel believe that if even he could not do it, then probably no-one could.
Today, as he watched Max make his first attempt, Enel was excited, but he expected nothing but a resounding failure, yet, as the [ Elite Bloodfall ] attack descended from the heavens and shook the entire celestial realm with its power, Enel could not help but feel shivers go down his entire body as the hope in his heart that had died long ago was suddenly rejuvenated.
“GAHHHHH” He shouted and celebrated like a primordial man as he could not help but clutch his fists and pump it in the air.
“TAKE THAT!” Shouted Junfred as he too was visibly excited with every nerve popping out of his face. .
Soon, Enel noticed that it wasn’t just the two of them who were cheering. That It was practically everyone in the celestial realm who was.
Because of Max, they had regained hope this day as Enel watched everyone whose eyes and fighting spirit had died centuries ago get reignited once more as they celebrated the death of the perfect warrior’s clone like maniacs.
The sword sage danced on his cliff with his two swords in hands creating beautiful rainbow patterns as he did.
The martial god performed his signature martial stomp as his entire cliff shook in approval.
Lady Jasmine clapped and cheered on-top of her lungs as Enel felt energized just to see his fellow celestials show so much emotion for the first time in many millenia.
” GO MAX! DON’T STOP NOW, GIVE HIM HELL” Enel shouted, as although he knew that Max could not hear him, somehow he could not stop himself from saying those words either.

( Max’s POV )
[ Energy Devour ] The inaugural upload of this chapter took place via /n/ov/el/b/in.
Max’s main body which was at a very low 23% HP used the move [ Energy Devour ] as just by devouring the spilled over energy of [ Elite Bloodfall ] alone, Max recovered lost stamina and HP as he watched the perfect warrior’s clone be reduced to nothing.
It was a fast process, yet Max witnessed every second of it in Slow motion and high definition. 𝑖𝘳.𝒸ℴ𝑚
First, his superior barrier spell completely blocked the movement potential for the perfect warrior’s clone as he tried desperately to break it.
Physical strength, Spell, Dimensional walk, teleportation.
The perfect warrior’s clone tried all four of these methods to escape the concealment within 0.3 seconds in rapid succession, but failed in his endeavors.
Right before the spell hit, Max saw his utilize [ Void Neutralisation ] as the first 0.4 seconds of the [ Elite Bloodfall ] spell was neutralized perfectly.
Then, as the full might of a star compressed to a single point became too much for the spell to bear, the void which was supposed to suction in everything without letting anything out, began to leak energy out and just like a cluttered drain, failed to completely suck the rest of the attack as fast as it could at the start.
About 0.3 seconds after that, his ability to defend himself crippled completely as the clone became completely at the mercy of his body’s natural defenses as he faced the full wrath of the Elite Bloodfall with nothing to count on.
[ Constant Regeneration ]
Even in such an impossible situation, the perfect warrior’s clone used [ Constant Regeneration ] as a desperate attempt to save his life, however, Max’s clone who was instructed to prevent the clone from being able to use this move used [ Ability Lock ] and prevented constant regeneration to materialize for the next 120 seconds.
Only at that moment, did the perfect warrior’s clone finally lose all hope as it looked into Max’s eyes one last time before it’s body melted away slowly and began to be reduced to ash.
1 whole second, that’s how long the perfect warrior’s clone survived against even these insurmountable odds and Max witnessed his resilience every step of the way.
“As planned brother….. I’ve established the numerical advantage” Max said, as he satisfyingly watched the clone die and himself and his clone faced the real perfect warrior as while his clone prepared to engage the real perfect warrior, Max healed from the damage he had previously taken using Energy Devour.
Worry was visible on the eyes of the perfect warrior as for the first time ever a fight had taken a turn which he had never expected.
His beautiful martial arena, the sacred stage where the universe’s strongest came to challenge him, plunged from a beautiful day to a dark night as the perfect warrior was forced to acknowledge the threat he now faced being a man down against a formidable opponent like Max.
” Perfect Cloning…. I created that move when I was a bored tier7 god.
I created it because I wanted to find a worthy opponent for myself, but since no-one around was upto the mark, I decided to create one for myself.
Since that day, except for myself, you’re the first one to defeat my clone albeit with some extra help from outsiders” The perfect warrior said as he assumed a proper battle stance for the first time ever as no longer dared to underestimate Max.
“Don’t worry. Today will be the first time you die as well” Max responded as his clone charged towards the perfect warrior.
