“Ah! Xi-Xiao Fang”, Xiao Fang’s mother said in surprise.

“You…”, his words trailed off when he saw the part of her bed that was drenched in her yin qi.

It was the first time he was seeing it give off so much energy. Its flowery scent permeated the room, leaving anyone close feel weak and lightheaded.

He stared at it as it faded, admiring its purity. He knew one load of this would rather help him breakthrough to the next realm or completely destroy him.

In the next moment, a fluffy pillow hit him square in the face. He was simply too distracted to dodge or even react for that matter.

“Aiyo, what an unfilial son I have. I must have truly failed as a mother. What kind of son walks into his mother’s room unannounced?”, she berated him.

Truth was the act of masturbation was a completely normal thing in the dual cultivation world. She was just acting overly dramatic because she didn’t want him to think that she was thinking about him when she was doing it.

At first, Xiao Fang didn’t really think much about it, but when he saw her reddened face and fake display of anger, he immediately knew something was up. She seemed embarrassed but it was mix in with a bit of anticipation.

Once his eyes looked over her naked body, he subconsciously licked his lips. Unlike before, they were now completely alone, and her body was out on full display, not trying to hide one bit of it.

In that moment, he looked at her like a hungry wolf staring at a sheep. Xiao Fang completely forgot what he wanted to talk about and nearly leapt onto her senselessly.

But who was he? He was the person that had stripped and cultivated with countless goddess level beauties. Though under any normal circumstances he would be able to restrain himself pretty well, she was just too formidable of an opponent.

Seeing the way he looked at her made her feel good inside, but when he nearly lost control it made her feel a bit nervous.

“S-so… what did you want to ‘talk’ about”, she said a bit hesitantly.

Unable to take his mind off her body, he turned himself away then quickly composed himself.

“It seems this is not a good time. We can talk when you are finished”, he said before leaving the room.

She was taken aback by his response. How did he expect her to finish after what just happened. She tried to continue after he left, but the mood was already gone.

She cursed inwardly at Xiao Fang before crawling under her bedsheets, not wanting to see anyone for the rest of the day.

Xiao Fang understood her thoughts so he decided to leave her alone.

Xiao Fang went to find the Patriarch, but eventually learned that he was not in the sect and wouldn’t be back for a few weeks. Though it was a temporary relief, he knew he was just avoiding the inevitable.

“Xiao Fang, are you busy?”, Xun Wei asked.

“No, why?”

“I was hoping you could teach me how to open the inner court doors”.

Xiao Fang paused when he heard her request.

“It’s not as simple as you think, besides, your time would be better spent working on your spirit cultivation techniques for the up coming inner court exams”.

“Xiao Fang, please. I did not come here to practice my spirit techniques, I wish to learn the way of the sword”, Xun Wei said with a determined expression.

Seeing the look on her face, Xiao Fang could tell this meant a lot to her. He sighed.

“Very well… follow me”.

Xun Wei followed Xiao Fang into the outer court’s training area. Upon entering, Xun Wei could feel her pores opening up as her body began to absorb the sword qi in the air. Though it wasn’t like what she felt when he opened the inner gate’s doors, it wasn’t far off.

“Why is the sword qi so strong here?”, Xun Wei asked.

.

.

.

Sword qi lingers in the air after a battle between two master swordsmen concludes. The Elders would teach their lessons in one of the many training yards in the outer court to not only demonstrate a new technique for the disciples to learn, but to also rejuvenate the sword qi in the area.

Xiao Fang explained it to her as best as he could before her attention was grabbed by the people gathered in a circle around a stage not to far ahead of them.

“Xiao Fang, are they having a lecture right now?”

“Yes, they are”, he smiled lightly when he saw the excitement in her eyes.

He delayed no further and allowed her to move as close as she liked as he stayed far behind.

.

.

The elder on stage preformed a few basic sword techniques, explaining when and how to use them effectively.

Xiao Fang nodded as he watched the lesson take place. He was familiar with the techniques. Despite them being basic sword techniques, when mastered they become powerful tools that could rival an expert.

Xiao Fang watched the lesson from afar with his blindfolds on as to not distract the Elder and disciples. Suddenly, he felt a gentle hand tap his shoulder, followed by a sweet voice that could melt a man’s heart.

“Xiao Fang, did you miss me?”

“XinYi, I didn’t hear you coming”

“Really? That isn’t like you”.

“You’re right, it isn’t”, he turned his head slightly in her direction suspectingly, as she smiled at him mysteriously.

There was only one person he knew that could sneak up on him like that, it was a person he despised the most. However, the girl behind him was not that person, she was a close friend of his so he dismissed it as him being too focused on the lecture infront of him.

.

.

.

Lei XinYi is a beautiful girl in her mid 20s with a slim frame, smooth skin, and a killer ass. There wasn’t anything special about its size, but it’s shape was more perfect than any man could imagine.

Although she was a few years older than him, she’s the only person he knew that could rival his speed in the same realm.

She was one of the few friends Xiao Fang had in the sect that frequently cultivated with him, body and spirit. Last he saw her she was in the 9th stage of the body refinement realm, just one stage above his. Despite her advantage in cultivation, he would always end up on top, literally and figuratively.

.

.

.

“Why did you return?”.

“I thought you might’ve been lonely without me, so I wanted to pay you a visit”, he said half jokingly.

“Hmph, you are so full of yourself. If you should know, I was perfectly fine without you”, she said haughtily.

She released a bit of her aura making Xiao Fang expression change to shock.

“Solid body realm!”, Xiao Fang exclaimed.

It was already incredible that she could make it to the 9th stage at her age, but the jump from 9th stage to the solid body realm is insurmountable for most using the Divine sword method.

“While you were off fooling around, my master helped me breakthrough to the Solid Body realm. Are you scared of me now?”, she smiled mockingly.

“Master? Does that mean you’ve passed the core court exam?”, he asked.

From his knowledge, the core court exam wasn’t like any of the previous exams, it was a competition against other sects, so only a few of the best amongst the inner court disciples would ever get promoted into the core court. But even then, if a master did not choose them at the end they would not pass the core court exam. Roughly 1 in 10 pass the first test of the exam, but only 1 in 100 ever found a master to acknowledge their talent.

“No, that’s not it”, she smiled bitterly.

“Your grandmother saw me training a few months ago and said I had a lot of potential. Seeing that I left a good impression on her, I asked her to take me in as her disciple and she accepted”, she said, telling the story as if she could hardly believe it herself.

.

.

.

Although this was something to be proud of, he was only wondering what his grandmother was planning. No matter how hard he thought about it, it just didn’t make sense to him. His grandmother never took in a disciple because, unlike most sword techniques, his grandmother’s sword technique didn’t complement the Divine Sword Method.

Similar to how the Divine Sword technique can only be practiced by someone that has practiced the Divine Sword Method, the only way someone could learn his grandmother’s special techniques is if they also practiced her sword method.

.

.

.

As he thought about it, he didn’t realize she had already left his side. Once he noticed her absence it confirmed his suspicions. His grandmother was the only person he knew that could escape his field of view without him being able to detect it.

She was no longer the girl he remembered her to be, she already made huge progress in his grandmother’s movement technique.

Before Xiao Fang could turn his attention back to the lecture, he heard the Elder on stage announce a new guest,

“Ah, you’ve arrived just on time. This is Core Court disciple Lei XinYi, she will be helping me demonstrate the things we have learned today”.

“Elder, if you don’t mind, there’s someone here I would like to fight against”.

“Someone here?”, the Elder looked at the crowd of disciples around him, trying to find someone that could be her match, but there was no such person.

Lei XinYi pointed at the blindfolded man standing at the gate all the way at the back.

“I would like to fight him”.

The Elder nearly fell back when he saw Xiao Fang.

“X-Xiao Fang, he’s back. Xiao Fang is back”, he said breathlessly.

He still clearly remembered what he and his colleagues did to him not too long ago.

The only difference now was that he was displaying an incredibly oppressive aura. Even if he tried to hide it, an elder like him would know at one glance that his cultivation was not as simple as it seemed.

The last time he saw him he was at the 8th stage of the Body Refinement realm. How many realms did he jump to exude such a presence, it felt like he could even last a few blows from his sword at max strength now.

Little did he know, it wasn’t the difference of realms that gave him such a deadly aura, but something much deeper that he unknowingly acquired in the cave in Mannan city.

Xiao Fang had his brows knitted, which put the elder on guard, but what he didn’t realize was that his focus was not on him, but on XinYi.

‘What a troublesome girl. She thinks I’m still in the 8th stage and wants to bully me here infront of all these people’, he thought.

He knew this was the kind of person she was. His sword hand iched and a terrifying smile nearly escaped his lips.

‘I’m going to enjoy this’
