One Piece: Gambling to The Top Novel

Chapter 216

Chapter 216

Josh was staring at Big Mom as she cracked her fists. Even when he gently refused her offer, she was rude enough to say that she will train him to be her dildo?

The audacity of the bitch!

That pissed off Josh more. The berserk constitution almost got him, but he managed to catch himself.

Totto Land was cut in half already from Josh’s earlier slash. Even though Katakuri had managed to reshape the palace using his power, the rest of the island wasn’t lucky enough. A big crack spread from the palace, and water from the sea started filling it.

The guests that had attended the party started running away. No one in their right mind would like to stay and get caught in the clash of two dangerous people called Emperors. Except for one big Birdman flying around, and a few commanders from Big Mom’s side. Katakuri and Smoothie.

Stussy vanished, as Josh had told her earlier to do.

“Okay.” Josh took a few deep breathes to calm himself. “Time to die.”

He had made a gamble with the system, and he can’t back off.

Angry with the behaviour of her rude guest, Big Mom dashed forward, clenching her fist and punishing Josh, who raised his sword in defence. When the metal and the giant fist clashed, a strong wave spread everywhere, lifting the tables and shaking the palace. The Katana shook a bit as Josh was making eye contact with Linlin.

Linlin smirked as her fist started turning pitch black. It gave her more power and momentum.  “You surely have great strength. But you are still too young, demon.”

“Tsk.” Clicking his tongue, Josh took a quick step to the side, letting the giant fist pass by him. Josh sheathed his Katana, and he appeared behind Linlin. Even for a user of Observation Haki, his movement seemed like teleportation. Josh sheathed his sword slowly, and when a cling voice echoed, a couple of sharp waves appeared in the air. Linlin slid a meter back on her feet, which wasn’t something large for her size. Slowly turning, she cracked her neck.

Her clothes shattered a bit, but her skin seemed to be fine, even after getting that sharp attack. Only a few scratches were there.

“You are fast.” Linlin smiled as she lifted her hand, and a cloud came from nowhere, resting there. The cloud was looking down at Josh. She slammed with that fist, and a lightning bolt left the cloud. “But if this is all you got, then you are dead.

The lightning’s power was natural.

In comparison to Enel’s power where the voltage of his lightning was up to 200 million volts, the natural lighting can raise to 1.3 billion volts.

“I’m just warming up.” Josh, who could see the future, could time his reactions even before her attacks.

He drew his sword quickly, meeting the lighting with the blade before he stabbed it to the ground. The lightning charge moved down, and Josh smirked. Finally, his mood was started to get better. His strength was finally coming back to him. After all, he had suffered Emotional Damage.

When Josh’s action was over, he felt something was missing, and he jumped.

Black spikes spread from the ground and hit his original spot. Josh stopped when the sparks reached him, and he landed one foot on a sharp one, standing on it. He slowly reached his back and put his hand on the great Devil Sword.

Big Mom seemed to get a bit angry as she turned her head. “Katakuri. You are my son, but if you interfere in my fights, I will not spare you.”

“Mama.” Katakuri, a pink-haired man with a scarf covering his face, lowered his head. “His speed is superior to yours, and he didn’t even use his Devil Fruit. Not to mention, he can see the future, if I don’t gang up with you…”

Katakuri clenched his teeth. Waves of Conqueror Haki danced around his body. “I’ll have to fight him.”

Few veins appeared on Linlin’s forehead. “Brat! You think he is the first one of his kind I fought.”

“What a family,” Josh sighed.

Linlin, once Josh finished his sarcastic comment, opened her other hand, fire appearing. A cloud in one hand, and a fireball in another, both alive, she extended her arms.

Lightning and fire circled the beam that was heading at him.

Josh held the great Devil Sword, and he spans it. Darkness danced around the blade, creating a vortex. Once the darkness and that beam met, the beam was cancelled to nowhere.

Katakuri clenched his fist, and the spike Josh was standing on moved up. It pierced Josh… wait, it only pierced an afterimage.

“Mama!” Katakuri yelled.

Big Mom didn’t seem to be surprised as her Haki allowed her to predict Josh’s movement. When he appeared above her, she spread both of her arms. Lightning and fire swallowed Josh.

But, from the middle of the fire, Josh appeared, unharmed and holding the greatsword with both hands.

He waved his sword from a distance.

The dark fog, with Josh’s technique, danced on Linlin’s hands.

The cloud of the lightning vanished, and the fireball did. Linlin saw how pink fog appeared once her homies faded. Her eyelids shook as the pink fog went back to her.

What no one knows is that the fog represents a part of her soul. The same parts she had used to create the fire and the clouds.

Josh didn’t give her time to progress her emotions, and he rolled, sending a roundhouse kick to her face. Big Mom’s body slid backwards until it hit the wall, making all of it collapse. Although the kick was strong to push her and make her hold her face in a pain, she was looking at her hands in shock.

“Zeus… Prometheus…” Those were her homies, one of the very few friends who accompanied her for most of her life.

Now, they were gone forever.

She stared as Josh landed on his feet.

“Don’t feel bad for them.” Josh waved his sword up and down. “They are living, in your soul, forever.”

He was mocking her for sure since they are made of her soul.

And that soul is back.

Linlin growled in anger. She couched, and she dashed at Josh, opening both of her arms. Josh tried to push back, but Linlin had great momentum and greater weight. She warped both of her hands, on him, and started squeezing.

“I will crush you!”  Black lightning started coating Linlin’s hands as she started crushing him. With Conqueror Haki surrounding his body from every direction, the little man will turn into a human jelly.

“More Power.”

Came Josh’s voice.

Linlin found her hands losing strength as Josh started pushing her hands. He was between them, looking at her, and he smirked.

“Grrr…” Linlin growled as she saw his smug face.

“Your pain is nothing compared to what I suffered,” Josh smirked. The black lightning was tearing his flesh. But his healing factor was way Superior, and his berserk constitution was powering him up constantly, not to mention that he has More More fruit.

Black-red lightning wrapped Josh’s arms. Linlin was shocked as she pushed the man between her palms.

“You can use it!”

“That’s right,” Josh said. He then yelled.

His Conqueror Haki and Big Mom’s clashed.

*BAM!*

The gigantic palace started collapsing, unable to hold the pressure. Linlin lost her balance as the ground beneath her cracked, and she started falling.

Josh flipped, turning into his demon form. Flapping his wings, he watched as the palace was falling on itself. Katakuri went to help Big Mom, while Smoothie was nowhere to be seen. Seems she had escaped.

Josh flapped his wings one more time. He aimed his hand down. A light beam flew out of his palm,  swallowing the whole palace, and exploding. The shockwave made every building on this land collapse. Even trees fell.

“Of course, that’s not enough.” Josh started regretting bringing his girls here. If he was alone, he may have combined this attack with More More, and he may have erased this whole country. But still, that will kill the citizens, who by the way were running away. Josh let a long sigh and smirked.

The ruins of the palace started shaking. The next second, a shockwave pushed them everywhere flying. Linlin appeared in the middle, spreading her arms in every direction.

“Mama Mama!” angry and excited, Linlin stared at Josh’s demon form. She smiled, genuinely.

With his ability to read minds, Josh could tell what she was thinking.

She was appreciating his rare appearance, the one of his kind. How wonderful it would be to have his kids. He isn’t even small in this form. And seeing his natural power, Linlin thought that their children will be so strong. With her genes and his, they will make large demons.

Josh cringed. He reached his boot, lifted it high, and threw it down in frustration.

“Emotional Damage!” he expressed his frustration.

Linlin was confused for a second, what would a boot do. Well, it’s infused with Conqueror Haki and Armament, but what use?

The next second, the boot grew in size, enough to become as big as her. Not only the shoe, but the Haki got bigger. Linlin slammed with her fist to the left, sending the boot flying outside the island and across the sea.

Smirking as she was cracking her wrist, Linlin praised. “I think I’ve underestimated you.”

“And I think I have overestimated you,” Josh replied as he flapped his wings and landed on the ground, 10 meters away from Linlin.
