Chapter 223

Chapter 223

“9999….10000.10001…”

Above his ship, Josh was standing, and he was waving his newest weapon. The Reality Breaker as the system named it. Josh twisted his hip and waved the sword. A compressed air blade started pushing the clouds in the sky, creating a crack there.

“Be careful… don’t cut the ship.”

The girls were lying on beach chairs, enjoying the sunbath. Josh, on the other hand, was training like in the past.

“Reminds me of the old days,” Mikita muttered as she pushed her sunglasses up.

“What old days?” Viola asked. She was lying between them, in a bikini and panties. She was occasionally chatting with the girls while checking out Josh’s exposed body.

“The old days. We were hunting bounty hunters. We lay around, and Josh trained day and night non-stop. Well… someone… some things… needed to stop him.” Mikita said, her hands on her boobs.

“So… this stop him.” Viola put her hands on her boobs and squeezed them.

Josh stopped for a brief and turned his head slowly, not wanting to miss the sight of such huge pretty boobs crushing against each other.

Viola had a slight blush when she saw Josh looking at her eyes. Mikita frowned.

“Why didn’t you stop when I did it.” She complained.

“I don’t have eyes on my back,” Josh replied. “Besides, I only turned to tell you to stop talking in my back.”

“As if there is something you don’t hear.” Mikita rolled her eyes.

Josh smiled at her, before turning again, holding his katana with both hands, and turning his emotions into energy. Twisting his hip, Josh waved his sword with energy enough to cut an island.

But what was unleashed wasn’t a huge air slash.

Instead, a thread appeared in the middle of the air, and it was blue. The thread extended in a second, making a portal like.

Stabbing the portal, Josh twisted his wrist, and it was closed in a second.

‘I’m started getting hang on how this sword works. What I just opened was a portal to an unknown world… probably a parallel world.”

It would be funny to go to a world where everything is still canon. Josh thought to himself and smiled. He sheathed his sword.

He took a manual from his system [Empty Knowledge Manual] one of the items he depends on very much as it can reveal the mysteries. He had used it to upgrade his Kung Fu and learn Conqueror Haki. Now, he will use it to learn this thing.

The manual shone, and in the next second, a book with a title appeared.

[Dimension Mastery: Outward Portals.]

Josh read the manual. It explained a certain way of movements and techniques to open a portal in time-space, reaching another dimension. It talked about how he can record the Frequencies of the World he wants to visit, and if it’s the same world.

Josh also realised that there is still more for this Divine sword he has. But he has yet to discover it.

Taking an Instant Mastery Pill, Josh swallowed it while thinking about his newest knowledge, and he mastered it in instant.

Good thing that he has a lot of money.

Literally, he can learn anything.

Josh thought that he may use the system to learn Chess in the future. But for now, he has to think of a way to make a comfortable life. Also, he had to think of finding the Pure Gold.

Gold… Josh smiled.

“Why are you smiling.” Robin got out of her chair and walked, wrapping her arms around him. “You have a fun idea, don’t you.”

Josh turned his head and kissed her on the lips.

Robin smiled. “It’s the money smile.”

“Yep,” Josh said. “We are going to the richest man in the world, and take his wealth. Besides, I need to sell the Poneglyph, so someone there may have wealth to buy it…”

Josh felt a few sharp teeth on his ear. Despite having strong muscles, his ears weren’t as strong as Robin’s jaw.

“Ouch!”

“Sorry. Couldn’t hold me when you said, sell them.” Robin said, her teeth still on his ear. “Did I hear that right?”

“Just a copy of them. You get to keep the originals. Keep your teeth away.” Josh tapped her on the shoulder a few times, and she left his ear, red. Luckily, the redness left in second.

“Who thought that your ear is your weakness,” Mikita said, amused.

“I’m just making a drama about it,” Josh said. “I’m spending too much time with Hancock lately.”

“Aw… of course, our love is dramatic.” Hancock raised her hand and smiled.

“Anyway. How do you plan to visit the richest man.” Robin put her hands on her hips. “Gild Tesoro. He doesn’t live on an island, and we don’t have his location. Besides, your compass only points to islands, right.”

“Well.” Josh opened his hand. There was an item he had won on the same day when he got the Spirit devouring gloves.

A note appeared in his hand, with a title  [Tracking note]

Josh opened it and read.

‘Write the name of anyone in the world, as long as you know his/its face and first or last name, the note will guide you to find them.’

Robin was looking over his shoulder. “I have poster collections down my room.” She said after she understood how the item in Josh’s hand works.

“That’s a good girl.” Josh nodded.

After that, Robin went to her room and brought a list of wanted posters. Those ones belong to the pirates with cancelled bounties. Although they may seem useless, Robin had them to study… to fill her time.

Josh found Gild Tesoro with his picture, and he wrote his name on the note.

Next to the name, a compass-like pattern appeared, with a pointer. Josh turned, and the pointer moved like an animation, pointing in one direction.

“This one!” Robin blinked twice. “So, you say, it can find anyone, in any place.”

“Write his name!” Mikita shouted. “And keep a paper for me.”

“And for me!” Hancock raised her hand.

Everyone then raised their hands. Even Marianne, who didn’t say a thing, raised her hand.

“No need to waster papers.” Josh let a sigh.

“I don’t wanna lose you again,” Mikita said in quite a sad and angry voice.

Great. They want to keep track of him now.

It’s useless since he is planning to settle soon.

“Awww… that’s so sweet.” Josh walked to the driving wheel and turned it all of the ways to Tesoro’s direction. “Let’s move on.”

And then, without a warning, he increased the speed of his ship, 100 folds.

The girls started fighting to keep their balance as the ship was moving at a magnificent speed.

If it was moving 50 kilometres per hour, since it works using Gasoline, now it moved at a speed of 50.000 kilometres per hour. That’s faster than a plane.

-x-X-x-

Half an hour later. The sun was slowly descending, giving the sea a red shade.

The sight wasn’t as pretty as the thing next to it. In 5 kilometres long, a ship, made of gold, and with a city above it, was reflecting the faint light. Whenever the sunlight went weaker, the glow of the gold became stronger.

*Sph* *Sph*

Gold splashes headed to the sky, across the whole city. It’s a sight that only the wealthy people of this world should enjoy.

Josh’s ship with its demon horns was approaching. Since he had no flags, it was hard to recognise him. However, rumours spread very fast.

“The Gambler! It’s your death!”

“Let’s capture them, and take all of his money.”

Ships, very large ones were surrounding Josh’s. Huge men and women were holding their weapons, licking them as they surrounded Josh’s ship from every direction. These people should be bounty hunters, and pirates making alliances.

Josh turned his eyes. He was sitting on the ground, enjoying lunch with the girls. He had cooked as an apology for making their heads spin from the speed of the ship. Well. Some of them could handle the speed, but they made drama. Maybe because he had a Cook Talent among his gifts.

The girls were about to stand up, but Josh waved his hand. He took a cup of water and gulped the food.

“Pride…”

A light orb appeared next to Josh. It formed a humanoid shape surrounded by light. Opening his eyes, Pride crossed his arms and asked. “What’s the matter.”

“These people want to capture me… and take my bounty,” Josh said. The girls chuckled a bit, finding it funny. “They think themselves enough.”

“How dare they?” Pride didn’t find it funny. He furrowed his eyes and looked at the ship. “The little ants don’t know the difference between Earth and Heaven.”

Josh blinked twice, not wanting to ask him to repeat that cringe chines line.

“Kill the ants, and take everything they have.”

“Alright.”

“Also. Don’t blow them up.”

“Too bad.”

Pride started growing in size until he became almost 1000 meters. He extended his hand to the right, and the light started forming a weapon. It formed a sword.

Pride had a part of Josh’s soul, and Josh was a Grandmaster. Pride didn’t only have the light powers, but he had a part of Josh’s skills.

The bounty hunters started turning their canons to Pride. They shot, and they used Armament Haki on it.

Josh smiled.

Here is the best thing about the homies that you make with Soul Soul Devil Fruit.

Armament Haki and Seastone can’t harm them alone.

(A/N: Seastone only works when it touches the user and not his power. Remember how Law managed to include seastone in his Room.)

“Humph. Not worthy.” Light raised his sword with both hands, and he slashed down, very fast and swiftly. The ship was cut in half. The crews got touched by the light, and they were burned. The shockwave made their ships move in every direction.

“Pride!” Josh yelled.

Pride shrunk in size and appeared on the ship.

“If I wanted to destroy them, I would have tasked Wrath to do it. You should have taken their wealth.”

Pride seemed to realise his mistake. He lowered his head and clenched his fists. “I’ve forgotten. Unforgivable. I will go around and won’t come back until I take their treasures.”

“No need.” Josh let a sigh. “It’s the Grand Line, and you’ll get lost once you get far. Stick around.”

“Yes.” Pride said, in a tone full of hurt.

Josh’s ship headed inside. From his point of view, it felt that his ship is entering a seaport of an island.

Surrounding him from every direction, splashes of gold heading to the sky. He clapped his hand at the show and smiled.. Someone is going to receive him soon.
