Origin Court: Accepting Disciples With A System Novel

Chapter 309 Deputy Chief Justice, New Name

In the Autonomous Region, the people selected during the Heavenly Selection were now getting ready to enter the factions that they chose to enter respectively. However, before this selection even happened, there was one woman who secretly ruled over the Autonomous Region for the past years, when that young man she admired so much was away.

Previously, it was Lu Han who brought her with him, just because she accepted his offer to serve under the order. He was, at first, excited about getting another strong subordinate for his father. Initially, Xia Hua’s father was not inclined to letting her go to a tiger’s den. Seeing his daughter’s determination, however, made him shut his mouth up and instead went with the flow.

On the other hand, Lu Han wasn’t aware and so was her father—that Xia Hua wasn’t actually there to serve under someone’s rule. She was there to fight for the throne in the Autonomous Region. Thus, before the Heavenly Selection even happened that time, she rushed and defeated the leader of the order and made him his subordinate instead.

With that being said, no one knew that the order had changed leaders. Only she and the leader himself.

She did not want the world to know about her affiliation with the order. She was only here to wait for him. If he arrived in the Autonomous Region at this time or any time, she would immediately pass the throne to him. She was all doing this for him, as repayment for everything he had done for them. If it weren’t for that man, they wouldn’t be alive and kicking right now.

She and her father were very grateful to him. Repaying him by giving people for him to rule was the only thing she could repay. If he wanted to, she could’ve already repaid him with her body, but it seemed like Yang Lujia was very indifferent to any secular emotions, let alone sexual desires.

“Deputy Chief Justice, we haven’t heard of the news regarding the person you’re looking for. However, there have been reports about a man causing a destructive and great commotion in the Second Region. However, as for now, he already disappeared from there, according to our investigations,” the previous leader of the order replied.

Xia Hua renamed the Demon-Subduing Autonomous Order to “Origin Court”. This was the name that man always wanted to name. However, on the surface, the name of this organization was still called the Hall of Commerce. Regardless, it was already altered when the people did not even know its real hidden name, the order.

“Continue with your investigations. As for the other factions that are trying to target the organization, leave them to me. I don’t have anything to do anyway other than conquer them for the man I am waiting for…”

The leader was stumped when he heard that this extremely beautiful young lady was waiting for a man. What kind of man would deserve her? Even her own would not deserve her beauty. And for fuck’s sake, she was a peak Saint Emperor—who could he rely on other than this beauty?

“Yes, Deputy Chief Justice.”

“Until then, do not communicate with me unless you have information about his whereabouts,” Xia Hua ordered as she disappeared.

The previous leader did not even sweat when she was here. After all, who would sweat over someone’s presence that was literally surrounded by a coldness that even he might freeze if she stayed any longer?

PHEW!

He wiped his forehead and quickly motioned to his subordinates to keep moving and continue with their search for the man’s whereabouts. Moreover, thinking about this young woman who his son had brought along with him, he knew that the shift of power in the Autonomous Region, or even the four regions, would change. She was that tip that would break the balance among the present powers in the Autonomous Region.

She ventured around the Autonomous Region this time around to see if she could coincidentally spot his presence or not. She had been doing this for a few years and she did not stop doing it even if felt like the man wasn’t going to come back. However, this did not hinder her from finding him. Therefore, she went back to the Third Region. She remembered him saying that he would come back at a later time just after he left and this man never failed to fulfill his promises.

‘Perhaps he will come back this time…’

And when she arrived at the Third Region, her anticipation died down.

‘Or maybe not…’

Dejected, she went back to the Autonomous Region after visiting her father shortly. Ever since Yang Lujia left them in the Third Region that day, she was becoming more distant towards her own people and even her family. Moreover, her family wasn’t really her family. She was someone whose origin came from the void, someone of high stature. Her attachment to her current family was that they were the ones who brought her up.

She loved them from the bottom of her heart. However, ever since she knew of her identity from what that old lady told them, she seemed to long for the presence of her blood-related family. Or rather, she just wanted to ask them why they abandoned her.

This was why she was so into looking for Yang Lujia as the thought of abandonment shadowed her mind every time she thought about it.

“I hope he’s going to come back,” she muttered to herself as she went back to the place within the Order, where she usually went into seclusion for cultivation. After all, it had been a long time since she had advanced in her cultivation—and there was this suppression that she felt like she wouldn’t overcome unless she would ascend.

“Alright, I should read books for now to kill time.”
