Lin Zhizhao said with a smile, “Of course there is, you just need to find someone to change your fate, and you’ll live!”
Ye Mu couldn’t help but ask, “Can you do it?”
Lin Zhizhao waved his hand quickly. “That’s too advanced, I haven’t mastered it yet.”
Ye Mu listened, and couldn’t help but deeply look at this person. Although he looks like he hasn’t said anything, and has an undisciplined attitude that makes people skeptical, she carefully considered his words. Ye Mu felt rather uneasy, it was as if something deep within her heart was telling her that everything he was saying was true.
Mo Linyuan was losing his patience and on the verge of losing his temper, but Ye Mu squeezed his hand and asked Lin Zhizhao, “Then what can you do?”
Lin Zhizhao’s eyes twinkled. “Didn’t I say it before? Aside from changing someone’s fate, I can do anything else, especially finding the dragon and tapping the acupuncture points*!”
*寻龙点穴 (xún lóng diǎn xué) –
In ancient China, most tombs used Feng Shui for site selection. The royalty and high society usually had Feng Shui masters spend a few months or years walking the mountains to find an ideal spot for use as the family’s burial ground. This arduous task was called Xun Long Dian Xue. (Retrieved from: https://en.everybodywiki.com/Chinese_superstitions)
In Chinese geomancy/feng shui, the ancient saying goes “3 years to find the dragon, 10 years to find its acupoints.” This means it takes a long time to find the dragon, and it’s even harder to figure out the acupuncture points which can take 10 years. If you fail, you won’t be able to find it for another hundred years, making the search for the dragon for naught.
With a smile, he said word by word, “I believe Your Majesty is not looking for a feng shui master to build the imperial mausoleum, right? What do you need to find? Because I can see that Your Majesty is not the type to be busy constructing an underground palace*.”

Mo Linyuan and Ye Mu looked at each other, not saying anything, but this person judges people accurately. It’s hard to say, but maybe he really has some ability?
In a small voice, Ye Mu spoke a few words beside Mo Linyuan’s ears, “What if we ask him about the City Boundary Map first? We’ll speak about my matter later. And he looks like he can’t do martial arts, so even if we tell him about the City Boundary Map, we don’t have to worry about him pulling a trick.”
Mo Linyuan listened. After pondering over it for a while, he channeled with a deep voice, “Looks like you have some skills. Fine, I might as well let you know my real purpose.”
In any case, he had made up his mind with a plan. Just like what Xiao Mu-er said, if this person really had the skills, he’d be of use. If not, killing him was easy.
So he looked at Ye Mu. Ye Mu had no other choice but to take a few steps back. Only in this way could Mo Linyuan take out the City Boundary Map without worrying about her getting hit.
While the City Boundary Map was slowly being spread out on the long dragon table, Ye Mu noticed how Lin Zhizhao’s eyes brightened, hurriedly taking several steps forward.
Mo Linyuan said word by word, “You most likely have traveled north and south, it should be clear what I’ve been collecting these few years.”
“City Boundary Map—you’ve actually collected the entire City Boundary Map?!”
Lin Zhizhao didn’t hide the fact that he knew the City Boundary Map, his two eyes unwaveringly staying on the blueprint, immediately frozen on his spot.
“That’s right.” Mo Linyuan also looked at the blueprint. With a cold voice, he said, “This is my purpose for looking for a feng shui master!”
Lin Zhizhao just discovered, on the City Boundary Map, besides the three words “City Boundary Map”, there were no other words—which also meant, they wanted to look for this place that was concealed in some way. No wonder the emperor was looking for a feng shui master.
Ye Mu was sitting further from them. She couldn’t refrain from saying, “If you can find the place marked on that blueprint, it will be an exceptional feat. Until then, it doesn’t matter if you want to be the country’s counselor or something else, His Majesty will meet your demands! But right now, since you’ve seen the map, shouldn’t you prove to us your skills first?”
Lin Zhizhao heard her and faintly smiled, his dimples subtly showing. “All right, since His Majesty and Ye-xiojie have such confidence in this lowly one*, then this lowly one* will humbly show** you!”
*he’s using a self-depreciating “I”
**he’s saying it in a self-depreciating way – so I’m writing it as “humbly show”
He first shut his eyes. When his eyes opened, the expression in his eyes had changed.
