‘I barely finished re-refining the first Mortal stage?’ Shane was baffled by what he saw.

Estimating the costs for everything required to re-refine the first rank of his Mortal stage physique, he came to the conclusion that he had roughly paid 43 gold coins.

The most expensive item was the tier-1 trash mana stones Shane had used, as each of them was priced at 5 gold coins.

Unfortunately, Shane required such a high amount of mana in order to temper and refine his body perfectly. On the other hand, the nutrition solution seemed to be way cheaper in contrast to its effect, which was more than enough for their current purpose.

Even though it was highly expensive, Shane felt extremely vigorous right now, as his whole body felt lighter.

He clenched and unclenched his fist, jumped up and down, kicking his feet in the air trying to assess how the nutritions had affected his body. Shane couldn’t believe what he had noticed.

“How is that possible?? It’s only a single rank…Is that the real power of a Mortal stage physique?” he mumbled, seemingly astonished about his capabilities.

If his current strength was not an illusion, Shane immediately knew that once he completed his perfect physique, not a single Wild stage beast would be able to defeat him. He could defeat the beasts just by using brute force without the need of using a single drop of mana as an enhancement.

Not even the strongest, fastest and toughest wild beasts would be able to defeat him.

At least Shane felt so, as his physical strength increased by a few percent only by re-refining the first mortal rank of his physique. It was also the rank rewarding the lowest amplification for the body.

Under normal circumstances, it was suggested to avoid fighting beasts at the exact same rank once one would enter the Intermediate-Dimensions.

However currently, he was sure that his future would be interesting if were to obtain all perfect [Mythic] body refining techniques.

Humans had always been rather passive in their actions against Intermediate and Advanced races. Their starting point had been higher than such races, even for the weakest individual.

Intermediate races would start at the Intermediate-Dimension, and so was the case with advanced races thus giving them the names based on the dimensions they inhabited.

Humanity had only dared to fight against Basic races like themselves. Though with time their desire and greed for more had increased substantially and the same could be said for Shane.

He wanted to become stronger than his father, uncles, and aunts that had ascended to their Master rank long ago. They had achieved compressing their mana slowly until the first liquid drop was formed with an extremely high mana purity at that time.

However, if Shane knew correctly, not a single individual had been able to obtain all three [Mythic] body refining techniques so far. Out of the three, the [Mortal-(Mythic)]-mission was labeled to be the most difficult to obtain.

Shane wasn’t sure how difficult the others would be, but he was most likely fortunate with his merchant mission, as everything played into his hands.

But right now, it would be useless to think about the next [Mythic] mission. He still had to refine a perfect mortal physique before he would build a flawed apprentice physique and continue his path towards a flawless physique.

It would take a long time for Shane until he would do the next [Mythic] mission. He wanted to be better prepared this time because he had almost died through his negligence.

Even if he wouldn’t have died, failing a single mission would have ended his plan to build a perfect foundation.

To construct such a foundation, Shane had to clear four [Mythic]-missions, preferably five, if possible.

The four mandatory missions were divided into three [Mythic]-body refining techniques and one [Mythic] 100% mana purity technique that was required to build a flawless foundation. While the [Tier-2-(Mythic)] mana gathering technique could be described as a little perk, Shane would try to obtain it, once the time comes.

When Shane thought about his current problem, he noticed that the required mana during his re-refining was much higher than he had expected, as he glanced at the mana crystals within his spatial ring.

`Will they also work?` Shane asked himself, thinking that saving some funds for the moment might be better.

However, he disregarded this idea after thinking for some time. Umbra was in need of this mountain of mana crystals for his evolution progress and it was far more important than saving funds.

As such, Shane decided to purchase 7 [Mortal-(Extraordinary)] nutrition solutions priced at 7 gold coins each and 30 [Tier-1-(Trash)] fist-sized mana stones for 5 gold coins each.

With the transfer fee, he paid 218 gold coins and 90 silver coins, which stung his fragile heart. His finances decreased, as the purchased goods simultaneously appeared within his spatial ring.

There were still 975 gold coins left, but Shane wasn’t sure if he would have to purchase something suddenly in order to protect his life. He had been through a similar situation in the shadow-snake valley, which had saved his life, because of the funds that he had earned before.

Furthermore, there were so many things he required that Shane decided to take it one step after another. He decided to avoid purchasing too much for long-term plans, as it felt like they would be discarded either way.

Until now, both, nothing and everything had worked according to his plans, which was somehow ridiculous. Every day that he spent within the Primordial dimensions was full of action, and filled with new challenges.

Changing the water within the basin, Shane dived into the warm water once again after dissolving the last rare quality and one extraordinary quality nutrition into it.

With nine Tier-1 trash quality mana stones placed around the basin, Shane’s body was already crying out in greed His body had opened up every single pore in order to devour everything in its surrounding.

Shane felt subconsciously that his ambition and greed had increased when he exerted the [Mythic] body refining technique which seemed to be overclocked. The whole refining process ached more than before, even though the refining speed increased proportionately with his pain.

Enduring the pain, he smiled, as he felt his body being tempered, while the impurities within were expelled with small black liquid oozing out of his pores.

At the same time, as the impurities were expelled, Shane felt his refining speed accelerate, as his body devoured the nutrition that streamed within him at an even faster rate.

One could almost think that Shane’s body was Beelzebub, the demon of gluttony itself, as his body turned slightly red, due to the high amount of nutrition flooding him.
