Reborn: Rise of the Greatest Summoner Novel

Chapter 32 Violence Served Cold

Mr. Damien stood there looking in a daze.

Just a second ago, he arrived with all the energy and anger that he could muster to annihilate the little Summoner who dared to mess with the Palm Island royal family but now he lost all the drive.

He lost all the drive after this Summoner revealed his face.

“He is not the Sexy Chocolate?” Mr. Damien started questioning his life.

As a superhuman warrior who already retired from the adventure life filled with energy and thrill, Mr. Damien saw himself as a warrior with a lot of experience and it was hard for any warrior on the planet to outwit him.

Now, he was not so sure about himself anymore.

Just a second ago, he was pretty sure that this was the little kid Summoner on a disguise but after seeing this warrior’s face, he was no longer as sure.

From his experience, he was unable to discover a single blemish on this warrior’s face. This was the natural face, build, and height of this Summoner.

Still dazed, Mr. Damien turned to see the other 3 Grade E superhuman warriors who were all still being tied down by Leo singlehandedly.

“Leo seemed to ignore him for these guys, it ignited my suspicion but now I’m not so sure. Besides, how can a kid become an adult in just a few hours?”

“Haha”. Mr. Damien laughed at himself. “I’m really getting old”.

“So that kid was sincere Afterall huh?”

Mr. Damien was completely lost in his daze before the sounds of yelling warriors brought him back to reality, this was when he remembered his duty.

“A thief just intruded and stole the prince’s summoner books, it’s my duty as the butler to make sure that he does not escape”.

Mr. Damien’s eyes shone with conviction. “After him!”

With Leo singlehandedly rough-handling and tying the 3 other Grade E warriors down, the full entourage of the prince and the warrior guards of the luxurious hotel were free to go after the thief to try apprehending him.

Legolas’s theft may have been a success, but his escape was still a probability.

During his planning phase, Legolas got stuck when it came to the escape plan. With the restriction of keeping Predator out of the battle, escaping with the Wild Coyote alone seemed a bit of a stretch against so many warriors.

Despite the uncertainty of his escape plan, he still did it with full belief on his experience. With his experience, Legolas believed that he would be able to improvise on the spot to escape.

Now was the time to put his experience to the real test.

Whoosh!

Legolas scaled down the massive hotel building like a monkey as he kept on bypassing superhuman warriors who tried to catch him in the process.

Alongside him was the Wild Coyote who sprinted like a race Greyhound.

Before he got down, Legolas already mapped the whole hotel. Mr. Damien was indeed worthy of respect; despite all the mental damage that he just dealt to him, this man was still able to arrange an organized defense.

Every corner of the hotel was already filled with superhuman warriors, unless a miracle happened, all Legolas’s escape pathways were blocked.

Once he landed on the floor though, Legolas did not give a damn about all these impossibilities as he mounted the Wild Coyote and started his escape.

This was when the Basic Beast Energy Augmentation Summoner knowledge came into play. Legolas actively channeled his newly unlocked Summoner energy to empower the Wild Coyote as the beast became wrapped in a green aura.

Instantly, the speed, strength, and every other stat of the Coyote increased.

With a growl, this beast exploded forth with speed as it charged into the formation of the enemies. Without caring for its life, the Wild Coyote started a reckless escape run amid the bombardment from the enemies.

In just a few seconds to a minute, over 5 superhuman corpses were already left in their wake as more were attacked while the beast suffered more injuries.

Despite its aggressiveness and tenacity, the Wild Coyote was not immortal as it finally died to one of the more reckless Pugilists who dared to charge close enough to engage it in close combat.

As soon as the Wild Coyote breath its last, Legolas was sent tumbling to the ground as the dozens of superhuman warriors soon surrounded him.

“Don’t kill him yet!” A familiar voice interjected before the agitated superhuman warriors could vent their angers and fears on this Summoner.

After a hectic affair, for the first time, Mr. Damien was able to walk close to the unknown Summoner and finally had the opportunity to look down at him from a vantage point.𝑶𝑽𝗅xt.𝗰𝑜𝓜

The Butler’s face was dead serious. “Who are you?”

“Hahaha”. Legolas laughed as he supported his knees before standing up unsteadily, he looked directly at Mr. Damien without flinching.

Mr. Damien was about to speak again but Legolas raised a hand to make the butler pause his actions. “Wait, I’m coming”.

Legolas smiled as he slowly dipped his hand into his pocket before bringing out the core of the Elementalist barrier that he kept some minutes ago.

Legolas raised the core up. “You know a fun fact?”

He continued as the butler did not react. “Actually, in more developed planets, Elementalist barrier cores are known more for their offensive attributes than their defensive attributes”.

Mr. Damien kept a stern face, causing Legolas to laugh as he finally raised the barrier core. For some reason, Mr. Damien felt his heart skip a beat as this happened. He was about to speak but Legolas was faster.

Crack!

Legolas smashed the barrier core on the floor and instantly, a tsunami of water came out of it with such momentum and pressure that could kill.

Having prepared for it, Legolas moved fast and dived into a hole that he already saw since which saved him from the wrath of the water Elemental energy.

As for all the other warriors that were inside the hotel, none of them were spared as the tsunami swept through them like a plague, killing a majority of them in the process as the hotel became a desolate ground in no time.

Mr. Damien chose violence, and Legolas served it to him cold.
