<Ding. You have been rewarded 2 skill points>
<Ding. You have been rewarded 4 stat points>
Qin Hua licked her lips as she gazed at the system notification pop up. [Finally! Woof!]
After continuously eating so much meat, she was almost too full for her comfort and her belly was even slightly bulging. She looked like someone who was preparing for a nap and not for a life and death fight.
But Qin Hua did not care about that right now as she patiently waited for the subsequent pop ups. [Come on! Come on! Give mama some nice skills!] She licked her lips in anticipation.
However…
A few seconds silently passed and nothing popped up in front of her. [What the hell? Woof! Such a scam!] She laid her head on the ground, pouting as if she was wronged.
Just when she needed it the most, the damned system had let her down!
Qin Hua rolled back and forth, lazily on her back, trying to think of an alternative course of action when she suddenly remembered the shop feature.
[I leveled up right, maybe more things are available for purchase now?]
Her eyes lit up and she quickly flicked open the shop tab to see several options now available to her.
[Wa ha ha! I was indeed correct!] Qin Hua’s mood had improved seeing the many options and she hurriedly scanned through the various open slots on the shop page.

Qin Hua gulped excitedly after seeing so many new and powerful skills dangling in front of her, but when she realized just how many skill points she had left, the smile on her face entirely disappeared. There was cake right in front of her and yet she couldn’t eat it.
[Tch. Tch. I am soooo poor! What am I supposed to buy with 3 skill points. Arghhh. This is making me mad.]
She felt as if fate was playing a cruel joke with her. She got a godly system but she became a dog. She found some nice people to live with but the world turned into shit. And now she has OP skills but she lacked the skill points to buy them.
She almost let out a loud growl in anger, giving up her presence but she controlled herself.
[It’s fine. It’s alright. Let’s calm down. I can buy everything one by one. Ahh. But what to buy first? What could help me deal with a powerful mental ability enemy?]
Qin Hua could feel her brain overheating as she didn’t even know for sure that there was a mental ability using person. Everything was her assumption and she didn’t know just how much of it was going to end up being true.
She was torn between purchasing a skill that she could afford now and level it by using it on the lackeys in whatever little time she had left or deal with the lackeys first and then perhaps level one more time to get additional skill points to purchase a stronger skill.
Either way, she didn’t have much time left and she knew that she had to act soon. [Woof! Let’s buy something first!]
With her 3 remaining skill points, Qin Hua decided to buy [Dark Shackles], leaving her with only 1 skill point.
It was a fairly powerful skill and if she could attack first after binding the enemy, it could give her a lot of advantages. She might even be able to prevent the possible mental attacks from ever hitting her.
[Alright. Woof. Time to hunt now! Let me tear down this madhouse one muscle man at a time.] Qin Hua wagged her tail and quickly leaped into the shadows before disappearing from Lu Chen’s side.
But as soon as she left, Lu Chen squinted his eyes, looking directly at the spot where she had hidden and just now left. “Why do I suddenly smell roasted meat?” He muttered to himself, completely puzzled.
