Secret Killer Novel

Chapter 115: Bored Psychopath

Chapter 115: Bored Psychopath

It was around 10 AM in the morning, and Leon had just left Layla’s house after spending a steamy morning with her.

Leon was planning to go to his apartment and spend the rest of the day there, but then he remembered his apartment had a power cut.

“Money…”

Leon had already planned what he was going to do on the purge, but he had yet to tell Anna about it.

“Should I tell her?” Leon asked himself. He didn’t have any need or obligation to tell Anna, but he was indebted to her because she had taken care of him for the past few days.

‘I wonder if she will get mad, though,’ Leon sneered. ‘I am planning to rob her house, so she probably will.’

“However…” Leon furrowed his brows and uttered, “If she plans to stop me, I might have to take care of her first.”

Leon and Anna had a weird relationship. They were the total opposite of each other, but that made them compatible. One was a sadist, and another was a masochist.

While Leon liked to torture others and see them suffer, Anna enjoyed being in pain. Leon had no idea how to deal with Anna, which made him furious.

“Why don’t I just kill her?” After pondering for a while, Leon raised his brows with a curious look on his face and muttered, “What if… I do something…”

“No.” Leon shook his head with a sigh and said, “Whenever I imagine having sex with Anna, I feel disgusting for some reason.”

“Pity…” Leon kicked the stone near him and murmured, “I didn’t want to kill her, but I guess I have no choice.”

“If she decides to stop me from robbing her father, I will kill her,” Leon decided.

‘Today is the 11th. And tomorrow is the 12th, and then… the night will come, and the purge will occur…”

Leon had no idea what to do until the purge day. He still needed to make a plan on how he was going to rob Anna’s house. Heck, he didn’t even know where Anna lived.

“I have two days to research about Anna,” Leon muttered. “She knows a lot of things about me. Now, it’s my turn to use the reverse card.”

‘Today is Monday, and I know exactly where I am going to find Anna.’

Leon could find information in many ways, but the best way was to ask Anna herself. Of course, it also had the highest risk, but Leon chose to take the risk.

‘Since she is his daughter, I am sure she would know stuff that no one knows…’ Leon thought.

Suddenly, a wild thought crossed Leon’s mind.

“What if I kidnap Anna and ask for a heavy ransom from her father?”

Leon then recalled his non-so-distant memory where he kidnapped Anna and failed.

“ARGH!” Leon clenched his fists in frustration. “Why is she so annoying?!”

Leon was annoyed by Anna’s very existence. In truth, he had been thinking of Anna for a few days now. And he couldn’t take her off his mind.

Whenever he thought about torturing someone, Anna’s face flashed before his eyes. Whenever he glanced at any corner of his apartment, he saw Anna.

Anna had charmed him, and the spell she cast him was, of course, nothing more than a mere psychological effect, but Leon had fallen into Anna’s trap.

Sure, Leon himself wasn’t aware of that, and he was still thinking that it was Anna who cured him. But that wasn’t the case.

Leon made his way to the university, only to find Anna wasn’t there.

Normally, Leon would have called Anna, but his phone was out of battery a few days ago, and he never bothered to charge it again.

Leon was called into the principal’s office and lectured for not coming to university for midterms exams.

“Do you have any excuses?” the principal asked. “I am sure Anna had informed you about them, right?”

Leon shrugged his shoulders and said, “your exams are so boring that I would rather count the hairs on my head than give your exams.”

“…!” the principal gritted his teeth in frustration and rang the bell on his table.

A few seconds later, a supervisor walked in.

“Listen, give him the exam papers of all the subjects and make sure that he doesn’t leave this room until he completes them all!”

After saying that, the principal left the office with heavy steps.

“…”

Usually, Leon would have gotten angry and added the principal to his soon-to-kill list, but Leon was bored and thought he would waste some time giving exams.

He thought it would be an interesting experience, but of course, Leon soon regretted that when he looked at the question sheets.

“So easy…” he muttered.

Leon was given question shit of 8 subjects, out of them, 3 weren’t even Leon’s field. However, Leon finished them all within an hour.

Leon handed the answer sheets to the supervisor, who was scrolling through tok-tok and watching funny videos on his phone.

“Hey, wait! You can’t leave—”

The supervisor was left speechless when he looked at the answer sheets.

“No way… he finished them all in an hour?!” he exclaimed.

Leon then attended the lectures but soon fell asleep and woke up after the school hours ended. He hadn’t slept a wink in the past few days, so that was given.

“Anna didn’t come…” Leon sighed. “But at least, I got my phone charged.”

Leon scrolled through his contact list and called Anna, but her number was unreachable.

“…”

Now, Leon’s rage was over the roof. Only bad and boring things happened to him since morning, and he couldn’t control it anymore.

Leon took out a cutter knife from his pocket and muttered, “I will kill the next person I see.”

It was nighttime, and Leon was walking into an empty street with no one around.

After walking for a while, Leon saw an office worker walking on the opposite street.

‘Yes!’ Leon immediately dashed at the man to kill him. However, the man pushed Leon to the side and ran away.

“…!” Leon couldn’t believe his eyes. How could his prey run away from him?

It wasn’t as though the man was sturdy looking. He was in his late forties, so it was almost impossible for him to push Leon unless something else was going on.

‘What just happened?’ Leon looked at his right hand that was holding the cutter knife.

Leon was in disbelief.

He glanced around to make sure no one looked at him, and his gaze fell on the stray dog walking towards the alley.

“That will do too!” Leon rushed into the alley and swung his hand to stab the dog with the cutter knife. However, he stopped when the knife was about to penetrate the dog’s flesh.

But it wasn’t Leon who stopped.

“…!”

Leon looked at his hand and tried to force it down, but it didn’t move. Then, he used his left hand to grab his right hand, but it didn’t work.

“Move, dammit!”

The dog growled at Leon and ran away.

“…”

This was yet another psychological effect Leon had developed. He was afraid of the whispers in his mind that asked him to kill and r*pe. But he used Anna’s spell to stop those whispers.

However, the cure had come with a cost. Leon had developed ED that made him impotent, but that was cured thanks to Layla. But now, he had to find the cure to fix another psychological effect that was stopping him from killing people.

After pondering for a while, Leon grabbed his phone and called Tania for help.
