Secret Killer Novel

Chapter 79 - [Bonus ] Killing Spree

Layla looked at herself in the mirror and said, “I look scary!”

“No, you look cute.”

Leon fixed Layla’s outfit and braided her hair so they wouldn’t get in a way. He tied them and inserted them under the tracksuit.

“Perfect.” Leon raised the bunny mask from Layla’s face and kissed her on the cheek. “So cute.”

Leon grabbed Layla’s shoes from the side of the bed and helped her wear them. He tied the laces and cut the excessive ones.

“You can see from the mask, right?” Leon asked while wearing his shoes.

“Yeah,” Layla nodded. “The holes are perfect.”

“That reminds me of your hole,” Leon scoffed. “Which is perfect for my rod.”

Layla punched Leon on the back and said, “Don’t call my pussy a hole.”

Leon grabbed Layla’s hand and took her to the kitchen. He searched for a sharp knife and said, “Take a knife.”

Layla grabbed the knife she had never used because she didn’t want to stain the knives she used daily.

“What about you?” Layla asked. “You don’t want a weapon?”

“I have ordered an amazing melee weapon in the underground, but now that I am low on money, I will probably have to wait for a while,” Leon asserted. “But I have to make sure to get it before the next purge.”

“Umm… you know, I can do part-time jobs and help you—”

Leon interrupted Layla and said, “You are not getting out of this house unless you are with me.”

“But I get bored…” Layla uttered in a low voice.

“I have told you to call me whenever you are bored, haven’t I?” Leon stated. “You might think I am being mean to you, but I am trying to protect you.”

“Then… I want to see your apartment.”

“Why?”

“I want to see what type of place you live in. You have never taken me there,” Layla uttered.

“Fine. You can come to my apartment next week,” Leon groaned.

Leon and Layla left the house and went to the town.

On their way, Layla pulled Leon’s hand and said, “There is still some time left before my birthday ends, so you will do anything I ask for, right?”

“Uhh.. yeah?”

“Then… I want to meet the girls you have sex with,” Layla insisted.

“Why? Are you planning to kill them or what?”

“I just want to see your choices of girls,” Layla answered.

“I guess I can let you meet Tania,” Leon nodded while glancing around. He was searching for a lone prey.

“Tania is that mafia girl you mentioned, right?”

“Yeah. I will take you to her apartment next week.”

“Yay!” Layla jumped on Leon to hug him, but Leon stopped her and pointed his finger at the office worker passing on the opposite street.

“Go kill him,” he ordered.

Layka stared at Leon for a while and said, “Do I really have to?”

“Yeah. It will be fun,” Leon replied in a sinister voice.

“…okay…”

Layla crossed the street with Leon and slowly walked behind the man.

Leon kept his distance from Layla because he wanted to see how Layla killed the man.

After following the man for a while, Layla tapped on the man’s shoulder.

The man turned around and tried to speak, but Layla stabbed him in the neck. He placed his hand on his neck to stop the bleeding, but the wound was too deep.

The man tripped and fell to the ground.

“Not bad…” Leon muttered as he approached Layla.

However, he stopped when he saw Layla jumping on the man and stabbing him in the face again and again.

“So she was resisting the urge to kill, huh?” Leon sighed and pulled Layla from behind.

However, she slapped Leon’s hand and continued stabbing the man again and again.

“That’s enough!” Leon yelled.

Layla looked at Leon with her bunny mask dyed red with the man’s blood.

“Why did you stop me?!” she yelled.

“We have to kill many more people. We can’t waste our time stabbing a dead man.”

Leon grabbed Layla’s hand and took her into a crowded place— where there were hundreds of people gathered on the street to celebrate Halloween. Everyone was dressed in scary outfits. Some were wearing make-ups, while some were cosplaying horror movies villains.

They thought Leon and Layla were also dressed up for Halloween. And the dripping blood on the mask and knife was also fake.

Leon could feel the bloodthirst coming from Layla, but he didn’t let go of her hand. He knew that Layla would go on a rampage if he did, and the other people would outnumber her.

There were also police officers for patrolling and drones flying around for security, so Leon had to make sure they were not being followed.

Leon took Layla to an arcade shop where people were playing horror games and trying to scare the customers.

“This is a good place…’ Leon patted Layla’s back and whispered in her ears: ‘Let the monster lose!’

Layla entered the shop and started killing everyone.

Some thought it was acting, while others thought it was a prank. However, they soon realized it was real.

There were 32 people in the shop, and Layla killed them all. Some tried to escape, but Leon caught them and threw them inside again.

Once Layla was done killing them all, Leon took her to another shop— where she killed more people.

“This is fun, right?” Leon asked Layla.

“Yes~ So much fun~”

Leon saw a group of five kids, who looked to be 15 years old, and said, “How about you go and kill them?”

“But they are kids… it reminds me of us…” Layla muttered.

Leon shrugged his shoulders and said, “Let’s go to another shop then.”

.

That night, Layla killed 132 people and went home with Leon.

However, there were two more murders done that night.

The group of five kids who Leon asked Layla to kill; went to an old couple’s house for trick and treat. But they were out of the candies.

The old couple offered money to the kids, but the kids played a trick; they killed the old couple and robbed the house.
