Chapter 67
“Ack!”
He broke the knot of the string with his bare hands. The frayed ribbon was thrown away.
All I could do at that moment was stare blankly at the ribbon that landed on the white sheets. It was what was holding my undergarments closed.
I had no time to get distracted.
He leaned back in to kiss me, and I couldn’t see what his hands were doing. I didn’t know what to respond to.
“…Ah.”
When I felt the buttons at the back of my dress popping open, I came to my senses for a moment.
The soft silk dress came off as though it flowed down my skin.
“W-Wait…”
Since the knot holding my undergarments was already gone, my skin was revealed at the same time my dress fell from my body.
I hurriedly held up the few clothes left on me.
I was barely covering my chest, almost half naked.
“Wh-why are you…”
I couldn’t pull myself together. I didn’t even know how it ended up like this.
“Why am I what?”
He asked in a low voice.
“Why are your hands so fast.”
A trembling voice came out. Even if I said it was fast, this was much, much too fast!
I can’t believe that while he was kissing me, I was already left with practically no clothes on!
“Because I’m adept at wielding a sword.”
After saying this, he pulled my hand.
And as my hand was dragged helplessly away, the dress I was holding up as a shield fell down and a milky white chest was exposed right then.
Surprised, my hands paused in the air for a moment, and I tried to hold up the clothes once more. But he gently restrained my hands there.
“Sw… sword…”
What does swinging a sword have to do with undressing a woman?
I wanted to ask, but the words wouldn’t come out of my mouth.
As if reading my expression, he had a languid smile.
Then, he kissed the small hand he was holding and replied.
“It has something to do with swordsmanship because you have to dig into your opponent’s weakness like a ghost.”
One, two… He kissed my fingers one by one, causing a tingling feeling inside my stomach. I tried to retract my hand because I couldn’t withstand the sensation, but there was no chance of doing that.
He kissed each finger once, and he swept down the palm of my hand and the inside of my wrist.
And as he did this, he never took his eyes off mine.
“Very swiftly. You shouldn’t even give the other person time to notice.”
Then his eyes seemed to grow darker.
“AH!”
He knocked me back on the bed, and his body followed, the heat and his weight pressing down on me.
His lips went down along my neck. His lips gradually went down… down…
And finally, over the skin that had nothing on it, a hot, soft texture could be felt.
“That, that place…”
With a strange, odd feeling, I grabbed something with all my might.
It didn’t take long for me to realize that it was Amoide’s hair.
Even though I was clutching his hair, he smiled leisurely and looked at me.
He’s acting. He’s probably acting. If he’s not! He’s just holding in the pain like this!
I gripped his hair even tighter because it got on my nerves somehow.
Only then did he frown a little, and he took my hand that was tangled in his hair and set it down.
I was holding onto him tightly, but I couldn’t resist his touch.
“A duel between knights, have you ever seen one?”
I shook my head briskly at the random question.
“Never.”
“In a duel like that, the goal is not to kill, but to ‘win’. So I often show off my most colorful swordsmanship at that kind of match.”
With an accompanying sound, one earlobe was lightly bitten.
It hurts. It hurts, but… It doesn’t hurt. My entire body trembled.
What is this?
It was a sensation I was feeling for the first time in my life, and yet it made me just want to cry.
“S-Stop.”
Yet he didn’t.
“But this swordsmanship changes when a real situation comes up.”
His voice rang in my ears.
“When you use a sword in a real fight…”
“Hmmh…”
A long finger swept over my eyes.
“You need to aim your sword squarely and look into your opponent’s eyes.”
There was a dark glint in his blue eyes.
“Like looking at your opponent’s very soul. What is their weakness, you ask yourself, how can I win?”
“Do you also think that?”
I asked with a short breath. Even in a situation like this, I asked what I was curious about.
“Of course.”
He smiled softly and bit my lips, and once more, a tingling sensation spread.
I could feel how heated my body was, and there was a strange sensation crawling up at me from the tips of my toes.
“Hmngh…”
My toes curled up to the fullest, and my hands were clinging to the sheets for dear life.
“And the weakest, most vulnerable spot…”
My head was reeling. It felt like I was being covered all over with honey. I couldn’t stand it.
“…Is what you pierce.”
At that moment, my back arched.
“Hagh!”
My body twisted, but he held my waist and wouldn’t let go.
No, the more I tried to get away from him, the stronger his grip was on me.
“Ah…”
I pushed him away as hard as I could, but naturally, he wouldn’t budge. Even if I try to push a boulder, it would be more difficult to push him away.
His movements became faster and faster. Then slowly, and again, quickly.
I was like an instrument in his hands.
“Haa…”
He groaned in a low voice and raised his head.
When our gazes met, his eyes folded into curves, and he smiled.
It was a wonder that he could smile like this, too. I watched the scene in a daze.
“Selena.”
Has my name ever sounded so sweet? It sounded like a song that a troubadour was singing, accompanied by his lute deep into the night.
His blue eyes, which I always thought were beautiful, were gleaming.
Filled with certain emotions, endless warmth—a soft light.
His gestures became a little faster. A hand lost its way and wandered in the air.
Amoide grabbed that hand and guided it towards his neck. I had no choice but to cling onto him as though I was on death’s door.
And at that moment.
Next to me at the headboard, something crackled.
‘Crackle…?’
Why did I hear that sound? Did lightning strike somewhere? I was about to turn towards the sound, but he held the back of my head and secured it firmly.
“Don’t think about anything else.”
Like a ghost, he noticed this and overlapped his lips onto mine.
So that no other thought could be formed, so that nothing else could intervene in this moment.
At some point, I lost all rationality. All the senses of my body responded only to him.
When I thought it was over, it happened again. Intertwining, overlapping.
It was a moment that never seemed to end.
My eyes opened, sharply feeling a sense of thirst.
Not only my lips, but even the inside of my mouth felt dry.
It was as if all the moisture in my body had been squeezed out during the night. But it wasn’t just that.
“Ugh…”
I woke up already, but somehow, my body couldn’t move.
I felt so exhausted, as if I was beaten by something heavy.
What’s wrong with me?
I opened my eyes slowly, wondering about my physical condition.
‘Huh…?’
Then an enchanting, mesmerizing scene unfolded.
As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw a face that seemed to have been carefully, artistically crafted by God himself.
A face that was a danger to my heart in the morning.
Long eyelashes gracefully that shadowed over his cheeks caught my eye.
At the same time, last night’s memory hit me like a sledgehammer.
‘Oh my god.’
I screamed inside my head.
Only then did I realize the reason why there was a fatigue that dominated my whole body.
How could I not be exhausted. Of course!
I did this and that with him, this and that! How could my body be intact after doing all that?! Impossible!
And it even happened several times.
Once I thought it was over, we did it again. When I thought this was the last, we did it again. When I cried and said I couldn’t do it anymore, he said this was definitely the last time. But again…
Of course, when he said it was the last, it wasn’t truly the last.
‘Just how many times did we do it?’
I don’t even remember the exact number.
‘B… Beast…’
How could he do that? How could a person be so…
I glared pointedly at his sleeping face.
‘Handsome…’
Despite the pain and aches all over my body, I couldn’t hate his face.
‘Is being handsome everything?’
You pushed someone else to the limit! I can’t believe you’re sleeping comfortably by yourself!
[ Selena. ]
And I recalled him calling me with a strangely flushed face.
When did he ever call my name like that?
It sounded so sweet, so tender that I had the strange thought that my name was made of honey, not letters.
And then he did that, and I reacted in such a way…
‘Kyaaaaaaa!’
One by one, the memories of what happened last night popped into my head, and as they did, shame flooded me more and more.
How did it come to this point?
No, how did it even become like this?
[ Being apart… I don’t want that. ]
“……”
At the memory that came to mind, I shuddered.
I hoped to death that it wasn’t really something I said, but the memory was too clear.
‘What the hell did I do!’
It was a storm inside me, but his sleeping face was perfectly peaceful.
“Mmm…”
At the sound coming from Amoide’s lips, I ducked my head and closed my eyes tightly.
I can’t look into his eyes again after this! Never!
‘Please, please don’t wake up.’
I prayed earnestly.
Just imagining him waking up and meeting his gaze like this seemed to make my entire body flinch.
“……”
But fortunately, he didn’t wake up. Only the sound of his even breathing could be heard, and a faint breath passed by my forehead.
