In the Liontalon family, Crystalville firmament.
“How is it? Can you cure my son’s left eye?”
A middle-aged man in casual robes asked an old man who was wearing a green-coloured robe with a couple of mysterious symbols on it.
On the bed beside them, a young man was sleeping while his left eye was covered with some green paste.
“It is curable; however, it will cost you….”
“No matter the price, I want my son’s eye to be healed completely before this year ends.”
Before the old alchemist could finish his words, the middle-aged man interrupted and said that he would pay anything for his son’s left eye.
“Sigh…it is not that easy. I have to contact the headquarters and ask for the ingredients. So, I can’t say the exact price. As for how soon I can heal your son’s eye, it will depend on the headquarters.”
The old man replied in a barely audible voice.
“Respected Alchemy master, can you give me the list of the items? I will use my Liontalon family’s influence to procure some of the items?”
The middle-aged man bowed in front of the old man as he asked for the list of the items required to heal his son’s eye.
“Edan, you know I can’t tell you the list of the items as it is against the rules of the Alchemy association.”
However, the old man shook his head before asking, “For now, just give me 10000 diamond coins and I will place the order with the headquarters.”
‘What? 10000 diamond coins?’
The middle-aged man was shocked for a moment; however, he didn’t doubt that the old man was swindling him. So, he nodded his head while ordering a servant to arrange the money.
The middle-aged man was none other than the head of the Liontalon’s family and the father of Nathan whose left eye was destroyed by Lucas.
As one of the top families of the Crystalville firmament, the Liontalon family had so many assets and money. Moreover, since 10000 diamond coins were for his son’s treatment, Edan Liontalon didn’t even think for a second before ordering the servant.
“Edan, you should have stopped your son from going after those Hellmore kids. Do you know how important the upcoming event is for your son?”
While the servant was arranging the money, the old man shook his head while saying something.
“I know.”
Edan clenched his fists when he heard the old man’s words and said with an evil smile on his face, “That is the reason why I already put a bounty on their heads with the Assassination guild.”
“Really? You contacted Assassination guild?”
The old alchemist shook his head before saying in a low voice, ‘Do you know what will happen if ‘He’ found out about this?’
“You mean the King of this firmament?”
However, Edan didn’t lower his voice; instead, he spoke a little louder as he continued, “What if I say he was the one who came up with that plan?”
‘What?’
The old man was shocked by Edan’s words as he asked, “But, why would he do that?”
“Old master, I can’t really tell you about it as you know how careful that bastard is? He made me swear on my ‘Knight’s heart’ from disclosing anything more than what I said to you.”
However, Edan shook his head.
“Right! That bastard is so clever that he could become the King of the Whispering woods firmament in a couple of years.”
The old man understood why Edan was not saying more about the feud between the King and the Hellmore family.
“Old master, here.”
Soon, the servant brought a small pouch filled with 10000 diamond coins as Edan gave it to the old man.
“Okay then. I will leave now and try my best to procure all the items as soon as possible.”
Taking the small pouch, the old man left from there.
‘Damn you, Lucas. Did your father teach you that technique?’
After the old man left, Edan was thinking how could Lucas use a normal stone to damage the eye of his son, who was a stage 3 squire strength?
Finally, he related it to Lucas’ father Aldrich Hellmore who was a specialist in hidden weapons.
“Anyway, the assassin guild will take care of the Hellmore brothers.”
Soon, he stopped thinking about Lucas and Evan as he walked back to his son.
….
In the Barren firmament,
In the inn, Lucas was looking at Stefan who was walking towards him with his sword.
He didn’t have the slightest idea that he and his brother became the target of the Assassin guild which Lucas used to do in his past life.
He was completely oblivious about that as he was ready to throw the toothpicks the moment Stefan lifts his sword.
“Since I can’t kill you in this town, I will just cut off your hands.”
Stefan revealed an evil smile as he was ready to lift his sword.
“Young man, I accept your offer; however, 1000 gold coins is too much to beat this piece of shit.”
All of a sudden, the middle-aged man who didn’t stand earlier with other mercenaries, stood up and said to Lucas in a loud and clear voice.
“What did you say?”
Stefan frowned at the middle-aged man’s words; however, he was arrogant because he was invited by the Grayeye family.
“I said you are a piece of shit. What can you do about it?”
Soon, the middle-aged man walked towards Lucas and stood in front of the Hellmore brothers while replying to Stefan.
“Everyone, let’s teach this uncle a lesson too.”
Stefan became furious at the middle-aged man’s words; however, he didn’t act immediately; instead, he checked the middle-aged man’s strength and found out it was only a tier 4 lesser knight.
Even though their strengths were less than the middle-aged man, currently, they were more in numbers. So, Stefan asked his friends to join the fight.
“Young man, One gold coin is enough to teach them a lesson.”
As for the middle-aged man, he didn’t bother with Stefan and his friends as he took a single gold coin from the table.
“Damn you.”
Stefan was already irritated by a young man who nearly tried to beat the shit out of him with the mercenaries and now, a middle-aged man was openly saying that he was a ‘Piece of shit’ and worth only one gold coin.
So, of course, he was angry and rushed at the middle-aged man with his full strength.
