<1:10 PM> Yman asked Sistela about the current time before they going to enter the Underground Channel entrance.
He nodded at her after her reply and reminded himself that he only had 2 hours to finish his intention in this place for the day.
But Sistela has seemingly noticed something.
<Partner, your so fussy, what’s the need for such mask? Don’t tell me you cannot stand of bad smell?>
Suddenly, her complaint was heard by him.
At the moment he was wearing a cloak of black color. It covered his body like a robe. His mouth and nose were covered by a mask to get rid of the pungent smell that might invade his throat. The cloak and mask both had poison resistance.
His enemies were poisonous creatures, so, it was only natural for him to dress such a way.. No one knows if when the danger would come. One could only realize a danger after they found themselves in a situation.
Yman’s lips extended into a smile after hearing her, then he cleared his throat and said: “It’s not like that. The air inside this Underground Channel might be carrying poison, although, the woman did not mention it.
However, it is better to be ready than fall to the unforeseen state of sorry. At my current level, for sure, certain death to me if that was to happen. Although, I hope not,” Yman replied at her while scratching his face using his index finger.
That’s why, even though he looks suspicious in his current attire, Yman had to do it. Anyways, they were going underground and not in the park. So no matter how he looks at the moment, he doesn’t care.
Yet…
“Tsk,” going into the battle really scares the shit out of him. More on that, he was alone at the moment. Although, he always alone from the beginning.
|Ah, my bad, right I’m with my deity. Rather than that, I cannot afford to make her angry and lower the Like Value like last time. This is a very dangerous situation for me. So, I can only depend on her this time.|
He thought while having a hard time controlling his knees and his heart that started to pound a little bit faster than normal. He could even hear his heartbeat.
Yman already experienced to be in a face to face with a stronger monster like the Mustang Spider, but he was not the one who fought with it. In any case, he was afraid also at that time, he was just acting cool. After all, he was also a normal young person. Although, his acting cool only bears taunt and discrimination from others.
He glanced at the round object floating relatively close to his face. His lips extended into a tired smile. Then it slowly opened…..
“My deity, let’s go?” He asked her with a little tease.
<Humph!> She replied while crossing her two robotic arms across her round body.
Seconds later, RESONANCE! After the resonance, his health bar appeared in his vision. His skills were displayed as well.
Yman inhaled and exhaled deeply. He was readying himself for the coming fight. But of course, he doesn’t want to engage in a fight yet. His plan was to scout the area first. And do some mapping.
Since the mission needed to be completed within a week, he still had much time left. No need to be so eager to finish the job.
After letting a huge sudden breath escaped from his mouth, Yman was about to lift the loose metal bars that were barred the entrance when a sudden,
Ding!
Notification sound rang out in his ears, which only he and Sistela was able to hear.
Located at the lower center of his vision, there was a blinking icon of a white envelope or also known as the Mail icon.
Yman’s brows slightly furrowed seeing this. He did not expect to receive a mail.
He summoned the cursor by summoning a little bit of mana at his fingertip and pointed it to the blinking icon of mail. Then, it directly brought him to the Mail section of his Cyber Screen.
He stared at the sender’s name.
|Anonymous?| Yman asked in his mind.
<Partner, you know this sender?> Sistela asked him too. Which he answered with a big: “No.”
<Open it!> She commanded, but Yman seemed to be doubting the mail.
|Hm… looks suspicious no matter one saw it. Wait, what if, this person is a scammer? Or a hacker?
Dang, it! Not me… at least if I am a hacker, I will choose to hack those rich looking magicians.
In any case, I don’t remember such an issue that someone’s account was hacked by some anonymous person through a mail. Though, it is my first time receiving a mail from someone except my sister and Ms. Pai.
Rather than that, the hacker could only hack if the System Deity is not online or should I say in hibernation mode. Regardless, I needed to read whatever was written inside this mail. Hopefully it safe. Dang! Curiosity kills!| He shouted in his mind and tapped the mail unwillingly.
Without even a lag when the system responded on his touch.
Anonymous:
[Hi, can we meet tomorrow? (Blush emoji)]
“…..”
|Meet? But no specific time and place stated?|
“Dang it! It’s a prank!” Yman screamed out after 3 seconds of silence. He noticed that there were no addresses and times from the sender.
<Hmph! Such a waste of time.>
“(Sigh!)Even the content of this mail was anonymous.” After saying this, he then canceled the Mail Section. What appeared next was fragmented displays of Cyber Screen that were divided into different sections.
Yman tapped on the Status Screen section. Like before, without a lag when the system responded to his touch.

No reaction on his face after seeing his status. Although some of his Attributes went up after those horrendous training he had been, he knew that it’s not enough to defeat enemies at rank D in a fight of 1 vs multiple opponents. And his problem was, these Evil Rats were known to attack in a horde.
He swiped his status screen and checked his deity’s status next.

After the resonance, the additional attributes from the deity’s inventory were added to the owner’s attributes. So, upgrading the deity really comes with many benefits.
After all, it was easy to upgrade them at a lower level than leveling up the owner, since a magician needed to increase his/her CE first.
Later on, the price of upgrading the deity would become much expensive when the Upgrade Level becomes higher.
Yman closed his Cyber Screen and decided to continue taking off the metal bars that barred the entrance of Underground Channel.
The entrance was not so big. It only has 2 meters tall and about 3 meters wide. Yman gripped one of the metal bars and summoned his force to forcibly took off the metal bar.
With his magician’s strength together with additional strength from his deity, the metal bar did not take long before it was taken successfully by him.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Clattering noises could be heard while he was placing the metal bars one by one on the ground. And rusts were staining the gloves he was wearing in his hands. But Yman did not seem to mind it.
After taking off 3 metal bars, he finally stepped in…

On the upper floor of the fledgling trainees building inside the academy, the Elites students with exceptional talents were placed here. Each of them had their own room. To give them more time to focus on their training.
But at the moment, one of the Elite trainees was laying on her bed while blushing and buried her face in the soft pillow.
She was an exceptional beauty with long black hair.
And at the moment.
“Kyaaaaahhhhh!”
She screamed inside her room but she’s not alone. Beside her was another beautiful girl with lavender hair that was tied in a ponytail. She was rubbing the back of the beautiful girl with long black hair while asking her what happened.
“Mina best friend, what happened?!”
These two girls were of course Almina and Kesha. Kesha was asking Almina of the reason why she was screaming while having a red face and her head was steaming.
“K-K-Kesha!” Almina called out in a stammering voice.
“Yes?! What is it, best friend? Is there a problem? Are you sick?!” Kesha was feeling perturbed at her best friend’s odd behavior.
“I – I – I accidentally tapped the send button..kyaaaahh!” Almina said and buried her face in the soft pillow once again.
‘What? Send button only?’ Kesha thought in dismay and relief. She thought her best friend had some serious problems. But it seemed, it was only because of sending something.
‘Wait, what she sent? And button?’
For some reason, Kesha suddenly felt curious.
“Bestfriend, what you meant by sent?! Please, tell meeeee!”
Kesha asked her, but Almina already lost in her own world of fantasy. Like what if, he really came to her? She did not even notice that there were no addresses and specific time in her mail.
Beside them, their deities were playing cards while shaking their heads. Almina’s deity named Cal let out a sigh. But only smoke came out from the tiny hole in his small round head.
<Love moves in a mysterious way.> Cal mumbled.
Some question marks appeared on top of Kesha’s deity.
Almina really was having a second thought if to send him a mail of invitation to lunch together tomorrow after a break, or not. However, she unintentionally tapped the send button and some part of the message was deleted. But she did not notice it. She even was using an anonymous name.
On the rooftop of the building, a blonde girl was sitting crosslegged while her body was enveloped by green mana brilliance.
Yman on the other hand was already walking inside the Underground Channel…
