“Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!” Churu yelled as she crushed on the concrete ground on the Yang Mansion’s driveway.
“Chu! Chu! Chu! Chu!!” [Ouch! That hurt! You don’t have to do that to me!!”] She bellowed looking above, alas, all words that came from her mouth was the word ‘chu’.
After some time, her expression turned more ugly as she listened to the voice in her head. Listening more to the voice, Churu was evidently displeased. Still spouting her ‘chu’ words nonstop, she justified.
“What violation? I just helped my host! Why are you exaggerating?!”
“Don’t forget your purpose, little devil. Until your host could fully abide in the Lord’s mercy, you are supposed to be useless, as always.” The female voice inside the little dumpling’s head emotionlessly warned. Her voice was soft yet cold which made Churu a little more agitated. The voice added,
“Don’t you forget that she also hadn’t done anything for you yet. Huh, you still have that shameful ‘chu’ in every word you say… aren’t you a little soft for a demon?” It was evident that the female voice was mocking Churu in her remarks. Alas, it was the truth.
Churu was supposed to answer Lexi’s question — nothing more, nothing less. That was the order she got before being deployed as Lexi’s guide.
At first, Churu actually didn’t bore any emotion towards Lexi as she strolled around and wouldn’t care if Lexi would do on her own. Of course, she would remind Lexi about the system every once in a while.
However, in the short course of time, Churu became fonder of her host. Not only Lexi was actually appreciative into small things, she treated her quite well. She even introduced her to the greatest creation of humankind called facial mask!
Hence, Churu gradually change and before she knew it, she wanted Lexi to complete the whole charade of the absolute one because she also knew the benefit of it. Moreover, Lexi was a smart woman thus, Churu was certain that she won’t fall with the trickery of her future task.
Alas, she also knew that Lexi wasn’t fully into the system and it was understandable that she would receive punishment after acting on her own accord. Yet, Churu didn’t regret her action or rather, she was now more determined for Lexi to have her own happy life with the right person.
“Whatever, old hag! Give me your all, I’ll take it!” Churu challenged. For some reason, though she was still as cute as ever, alas, there’s a different aura surrounded her as her pair of eyes had an indiscernible glint — just like the eyes of a dignified warrior.
With that, Churu felt an enormous gravity cast on her whole being which cause her to fall face down on the ground. By the next second, the weight on her was gone, yet, Churu was forcefully flew in the air and then slammed again on the ground. The cycle repeated for god knows how long but Churu never screamed for help as she obediently received her unjust punishment.

Meanwhile…
The commotion on the Yang’s living area alarmed Lexi’s parents. Arriving at the part of the house, several maids were rushing to bring medicines and other unnecessary things that Lexi blurted out.
Arriving at the part of the premises, Frederick Yang’s brows creased seeing his daughter alas, what caught his attention was a man lying on the couch while Lexi sat beside him.
“Lexi Yang!” Father Yang exclaimed seeing the sight of the commotion. When Lexi turned her head to his direction, Frederick Yang saw the panic-stricken expression plastered across his daughter’s face.
“Oh my, dear… what happened?” Mother Yang who was quick to realize her daughter’s concern rushed towards Lexi’s standpoint. Lexi jolted from seeing her mother,
“M-mom, he just fainted and his sweating a lot. I don’t know what to do, I –”
“It’s alright, it’s alright. We’ll send him to the hospital.” Mother Yang gently console Lexi’s trembling back. By the looks of it, the young man was a friend of her daughter hence, to calm her down, she reassured. Alas, Lexi hurriedly retorted.
“No, no hospital. I already called Dr. Xu.”
Hours had passed and Ethan was transferred to one of the guest room on the house. Waiting anxiously for the doctor Xu to finish his duties, Lexi and her parents sat on the sofa inside the room.
Shortly after, doctor Xu who’s in his mid 40’s finally finished his job and turned to the family of three. Tipping his eyeglasses, he glanced at Lexi before he spoke, “CEO Yang, I assumed Mr. Lu was suffering to a slight fever before he inflicted his mild concussion. Fret not, he only needed a complete rest for at least a week. I’d also prescribed…”
The Yang’s family doctor continued on prattling on the do’s and don’t to tend to the patient before he bowed his head and took his leave.
“What happened to young master Lu?” Frederick Yang calmly inquired. He added, “and why are you with him?”
Hearing her father’s inquiry, Lexi felt somewhat troubled. Does she needed to tell them everything? That they bumped into something they shouldn’t and ended up being captured? Alas, won’t that make them more worried than they already were?
Lexi thought hard about it and decided to let them at ease and vaguely explicated, “We had a misunderstanding but he somehow, tried to help me still but I–”
“Lexi!”
“Lexi Yang!” Both her parents shouted assuming what their foolish daughter did. It could be seen the disappointment they felt when they came upon what their daughter had done.
“You take care of the young master Lu and apologize to him.” Frederick Yang with his dignified aura ordered before he walked away before he could say hurtful words to his beloved daughter.
