Chapter 667 - The Scum Is Disgusting

Chapter 667 – The Scum Is Disgusting

“Da shixiong… shijie is going with us to rescue Dong Cheng’s father… could this be – ” Cheng Sheng spoke as they ran around the mansion, asking the servants that were trapped on where could their sect leader be.

“Hm?” Fei Yin turned to Cheng Sheng.

“The legendary meet the parents?” Cheng Sheng said and looked at Fei Yin with his eyes bright due to gossip.

Fei Yin’s lip twitched. “… it can be counted as.” He said and smiled.

Cheng Sheng smiled, feeling happy for Lei Qing. Even though this wouldn’t be the expected meeting of the parent and the daughter-in-law, there is no helping it since the enemies attacked, and with the help of Dong Chi, this shameless and waste traitor, at that. He even harmed his biological uncle and cousin!

“Sect leader Dong is stupid and blind while Dong Cheng is indifferent but also soft-hearted.” Cheng Sheng said. “And their good qualities are towards their family, which is ironically and tragically hates them both. So, their family and sect now are ruined.” He said and sighed in pity.

Fei Yin patted his back to comfort him. “This is fate. This is to wake them both up.” he said.

Cheng Sheng nodded in agreement. Because Dong Cheng and his father have been both blind and forgiving to their family, maybe fate can’t bear it anymore and now wanted for them to wake up, so it gave them a very big and harsh wake-up call.

“Sheng.” Fei Yin called and raised his hand in front of Cheng Sheng, indicating for him to stop.

Cheng Sheng was pulled from his thoughts by Fei Yin’s voice and he raised his head to see that Fei Yin is standing in front of him, shielding him from whatever it is in front of him. Cheng Sheng tilted his head to peek in front and saw that there were lots of spirit servants, as well as Devouring Worms crawling in the pillars and roof beams.

“These worms should be called ‘Disgusting Worms’ instead of Devouring Worms.” Cheng Sheng commented.

Fei Yin heard what he said and laughed. He knows that his lover won’t be beaten down by these disgusting things. Instead, he would even insult them.

“Where is shijie?” Cheng Sheng asked when he didn’t saw that Lei Qing disappeared. He didn’t notice when did she left.

“She jumped on the roofs to look and also to have a full view of the entire Dongcheng Sect after she heard the instruction of the servant told her earlier.” Fei Yin answered.

“Oh. Then, we have to be supportive shidis and not let these things disturb shijie.” Cheng Sheng said as he took out talismans from his qiankun sleeve.

“En.” Fei Yin nodded in agreement as he took out his sword and face the spirit servants.

“I’ll cover you. You only need to hack them to death.” Cheng Sheng told Fei Yin as he started to throw Fire Talismans on the Devouring Worms.

The Devouring Worms saw that their kin were burned and they crawled faster when they sensed danger. But how can Cheng Sheng let them escape? He accurately threw Fire Talismans to all the Devouring Worms. Of course, he didn’t forget the spirit servants that are hissing at him and Fei Yin.

The Fire Talismans flew in the air when, suddenly, a piece of paper was separated from it and fell on the spirit servants, catching them off-guard, and then rendering them immobile!

“Now!” Cheng Sheng told Fei Yin as he took care of the other Devouring Worms.

Fei Yin nodded and rushed towards the spirit servants before hacking them down. Fei Yin was busy killing the spirit servants while Cheng Sheng’s attention is on the Devouring Worms so they didn’t see a shadow creeping behind Cheng Sheng.

Something glistened and then it descended on Cheng Sheng’s back! CLANG! The sound of two blades colliding was heard.

“Pets really take after their owners.” Cheng Sheng smiled as he slowly turned to face the enemy that tried to kill him from behind. His sword was blocked by Cheng Sheng’s sword.

No matter how much he move his sword, he couldn’t do it because of Cheng Sheng’s sword.

“The pet is disgusting and so its owner should be.” Cheng Sheng said as he looked at the foreign enemy.

The enemy is wearing the clothes of the Dongcheng Sect disciples so it obviously wanted to disguise itself and infiltrate the sect first before they all started their plan until they finally take action. As to who gave them the clothes of the Dongcheng Sect disciples, it isn’t that hard to guess unless your brain is damaged.

“I have… heard of… you.” The foreign enemy said in a broken Chinese.

Cheng Sheng’s smile became brighter as he faced him. He spoke to him in their own land’s language. “Thank you for the praise.” He said. “I don’t need to guess who told you about me. It should be the same person who gave you and your fellows the disciple clothes?” he grinned.

The foreign enemy was taken aback because Cheng Sheng could speak their language. Then, there is no need to speak Chinese! He freely started to speak in their own land’s language. “Yes! You are right! It is the nephew of this sect’s leader who worked with us!” he told him.

Cheng Sheng kept his smile. “We don’t know any nephew of the sect leader.” He answered. “In our land, the moment that he has chosen to collude with the enemies, he is already regarded as dead.” He explained.

The foreign enemy’s brows knitted.

“You don’t have to waste time talking to them.” Fei Yin spoke.

These words are for Cheng Sheng, but Fei Yin deliberately used the language of the foreign enemy to let him hear them.

As expected, the foreign enemy was shocked. “You also know our language!” he exclaimed as he glared at Fei Yin. “Who taught you? You have actually been investigating our land, didn’t you?” he said.

Fei Yin sneered. “We don’t have much free time in our hands like you.” He said. “Don’t lump us in with you, sneaky bastards.” He told him and coldly looked at him.

The foreign enemy was infuriated and wanted to kill them but Cheng Sheng’s sword already moved even without him touching it. The foreign enemy was stunned. He never expected nor thought that Cheng Sheng could manipulate his sword remotely so he looked at the wound in his chest with his eyes wide in disbelief. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out of his mouth. His body collapsed on the floor with blood flowing out of his chest.

He is dead. As soon as he was dead, the spirit servants remaining also died along with their master while the Devouring Worms were burned.

“The entire Dongcheng Sect would be burned at this rate and even their ground will be razed in fire. Will sect leader Dong be mad at us?” Cheng Sheng asked and bit his lip, feeling guilty as he watched the fire from burning the Devouring Worms spread throughout the mansion.

Fei Yin looked at him. “You don’t need to act. I am the only one here around.” He told him.

As expected, he saw Cheng Sheng widely grinned. “Hehe.” He laughed, looking very mischievous.

Fei Yin helplessly smiled.

“I am also here.” Lei Qing spoke as she jumped down the ground, landing just on the body of the foreign enemy.

Fei Yin and Cheng Sheng grimaced when they saw where she landed. “Shijie.” They called.

“The servant told me that the enemies took Dong Cheng’s father to the northeast building. There it is.” Lei Qing said and pointed.

Fei Yin and Cheng Sheng turned before they fell silent.

Lei Qing frowned because there was nothing there. “I tried to look for a building in that direction but I couldn’t find any.” She said.

“… a Concealment Spell?” Fei Yin guessed after a while.

Lei Qing’s eyes brightened. “It is possible!” she exclaimed.

“Fortunately, that servant saw before they have concealed the building.” Cheng Sheng sighed in relief.

Lei Qing nodded in agreement. “Li-shidi isn’t here, so we will leave this to you, Cheng-shidi!” she said as she flew to the direction of northeast while Fei Yin took Cheng Sheng with him on his sword.

Cheng Sheng’s sword returned to its sheathe and Cheng Sheng started making hand seals as he looked at the empty space in the northeast of the Dongcheng Sect. When he saw that nothing happened, he frowned. He took out a talisman and threw it to that direction as they flew towards it.

Then, suddenly, everyone in the Dongcheng Sect saw a bright light flashed after the talisman thrown by Cheng Sheng hit the ’empty’ space! Lei Qing and Fei Yin has no choice but to stop mid-air and cover their eyes.

“… oops. Sorry..” Cheng Sheng apologized and sheepishly smiled while Fei Yin helplessly sighed as he covered Cheng Sheng’s eyes with his other hand.
