The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife Novel

Chapter 402 - Honour

A few hours later, they reached the capital. She found Ryuu standing outside the airport, leaning against the car, deep in thought. She smiled and took hurried steps but slowed down when she recalled that she was still holding Xiaobao in her arms. If she could, she would fly to reach her husband’s arms. Just looking at his face and she knew that she missed him more than she was letting on.

Ryuu gazed up to see his wife’s smiling face and took big strides to pull her into his arms. As something touched his chest, he looked down to see beautiful eyes blinking at him.

“This…this…” Ryuu was speechless for a moment. He didn’t know how to behave at times like this. You see, he had been a father once but Alcina’s kidnapping made him forget each and everything. He was going crazy and there was nothing he could do about it.

“Xiaobao, it seems your Bàbà doesn’t look happy meeting us,” Alcina said softly.

The baby in her arms blinked his curious eyes at the new person. As if he could sense that the man looking at him wasn’t harmful, he raised his arms and legs, telling Alcina that he wished to be held by the man.

“That’s not true,” Ryuu said and pulled both of them closer to the chest. “Cia, I was so scared. I thought I lost both of you. Thank you for coming back to me.”

He was feeling more than he was telling at this time but he felt that he couldn’t explain his feelings in words. This was strange. Scary. Happy. And all other mingled in one.

“Ah, for that you need to thank Jun, he saved me and Xiaobao at the cost of his life,” Alcina said. She didn’t forget to give credit to the person who deserved it.

Also, she was giving time and opportunity to Jun to accept that Ryuu was gonna be a constant person in his life and there was no way Xin family or Tang family would let him leave as he had been planning to. Hell, this time Xin Yichen would lock him instead of Ryuu.

“Where is he?” Ryuu asked his wife about the boy who saved his family.

“Oh, he went ahead with Feng Siyan,” Alcina softly told him.

Ryuu nodded his head and he took his son from his wife’s arms and kissed his temple, “Let’s go home. Everyone is waiting for us.” He caressed his son’s face, “And you little precious thing, you are going to make our more colourful.”

Alcina chuckled lightly and nodded her head. She circled her arms around Ruuu’s waist and walked forwards. While opening the car door, his eyes met with Feng Siyan.

“Wanted to give you a surprise, Master,” Feng Siyan gave him that rare smile that only this man was capable of getting.

Ryuu didn’t say anything else, just patted his shoulder.

“What happened?” Alcina asked in confusion.

“He didn’t say anything about the baby,” Ryuu said, heaving out a sigh.

When they reached Tang Palace, Ryuu held her hand and helped her get out of the car first. He was treating her so delicately as if she was made of glass. He took his son from her arms and then they walked inside, all three of them.

Xin Yichen, Long Jie and Zhenyi were waiting for them in the living room. When they saw Alcina coming with Ryuu, they heaved out a sigh. It was good that they all were fine. Then, they saw Ryuu holding a bundle of joy swaddled up in a blanket. And their eyes instantly twinkled. It appeared as if the sun was alone after a long night.

Not just the family members, even the staff of the household moved quickly as their gaze fell on the baby and began making preparations for decorating the house. It was a time for celebration, how could they not do anything about it?

Zhenyi stood up first to hug Alcina and after making sure she was fine then she glanced at the tiny human in Ryuu’s arms. She was afraid to even touch the baby. Even though she was about to have a little one of her own, she was easily intimidated by their presence, “The baby is so precious.”

She managed to give the best puppy eyes she was capable of giving and said in a sickly sweet voice, “Bro, please let me pick him.”

“Let me have my fill first,” Ryuu said, not at all bothering to look at his sister.

“When would that be?” Zhenyi asked him.

“I don’t know, “Ryuu whispered, his gaze still settled on his precious son.”Let me just hold him for a while.”

“Fine. Fine,” Zhenyi said and sat back on the sofa. You see, she could see that it was Ryuu’s special moment and didn’t want to disturb him. So, she went back on the sofa to disturb her lovely husband who just kissed her nose.

Xin Yichen stood up next first to ask Alcina about how she was doing and then looked at his grandson from a distance, letting out a teary smile.

“What happened, Bà, “Alcina asked in a soft voice.

“I’m so thankful to God that you both made it,” Xin Yichen said in a hoarse voice. He was a strong man who didn’t cry but it was such a bittersweet time for him.

“We too are, Bà,” Alcina said, smiling at him. She could understand his predicament too well. “Take your grandson in arms and we would like you to name him.”

“Hey, hey, why is my Bà getting the honour?” Ryuu asked, not at all behaving like the Lord that he was. “He is my baby too.”

“And you are Bà’s baby,” Alcina reminded him and Ryuu pursed his lips. His wife was right and her statement too was.
