The Wife of Hades Novel

Chapter 159 - Wedding Location

Mo Han looked towards An Luxia and held onto her hand with a smile, “I want to have a formal wedding with Luxia.”

An Luxia was also shocked as her mouth fell open, and the three of them were all silent for a moment, so Mo Han went on.

“When we got married, she was still in school and. . .” Mo Han smiled at the memory, “There were some misunderstandings about our marriage, so we never got to actually hold a wedding. I don’t want Luxia to not have a wedding, and I want to have a wedding as well, so I think before the stomach gets too big, we should have a wedding.”

An Luxia pursed her lips out in happiness as she grabbed onto Mo Han’s hand. She had long forgotten about the fact that they had never had a wedding yet, but he managed to remember.

To be honest, she did want a wedding as well, but she did not think about it anymore, especially after the whole Trap situation happened.

.

She looked down at her stomach. It would probably get big soon, and now that Mo Han brought it up, she did not want to wait for the wedding anymore.

“Wedding?” Qi Lanyu and An Ping looked at each other and then at An Luxia, “What do you think?”

  An Luxia nodded.

For the next few weeks, everything was about planning for the wedding. They immediately started picking the location, the date, and everything because if they were going to hold it before An Luxia’s stomach got very obvious, they had to be quick.

They quickly decided on a date about a month later, and began creating invitations, looking for locations, and everything that was necessary to hold a wedding.

An Luxia stopped all her work and either worked on school work or planning for the wedding. As she had missed quite a lot of school due to the accident, she had to make a lot of things up.

However, she would also be graduating in about three months, since it was nearing March already. Their wedding would be on March 20, the first day of spring, also a new beginning for all of them.

An Luxia entered the room to see Mo Han sitting on the couch, looking through wedding idea photos. She sat down on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck as she leaned against him, looking at the images as well.

“Where do you want to hold the wedding?” He asked a question that had been on their minds for the past few days. It was getting close to the wedding, and they couldn’t do much without knowing where the wedding would be held.

They had ordered their custom designed wedding dresses already and sent out the invitations, and the rest had to be decided after the location was decided.

An Luxia smiled and sat up straight, looking at Mo Han. That was exactly why she was here right now!

“Do you remember something?” She asked.

Mo Han raised one eyebrow at her, putting down the pile of papers with wedding ideas on it and looking at her, “Remember what?”

“A long, long time ago,” An Luxia began her dramatic story, “In the orphanage, there was a young little girl and a young boy. They promised to marry each other when they grew up!”

Mo Han watched An Luxia with a grin, watching her act as he already knew what she was talking about. But, how did that have anything to do with the wedding location?

“One night, when they were lying in bed in the darkness, the little boy asked the little girl how she wanted to get married when she grew up!”

At this point, Mo Han immediately remembered what she was talking about as he thought back to over 20 years ago.

— A long, long time ago

Both of them could not fall asleep, and Mo Han knew An Luxia was not asleep yet as she rolled around in the darkness.

“Luxia,” he called her softly. The tiny figure immediately stopped rolling and replied, “Yes?”

Mo Han smiled and asked softly so the other people in the different rooms could not hear. They were supposed to be asleep right now, “What do you want your wedding to be like when you get older?”

An Luxia did not expect this question, and she was silent for a moment, “Wedding? I haven’t really thought about it. . .”

There was silence as Mo Han gave time for An Luxia to think, and after a while, she slowly said, “A wedding. . . I think a simple wedding will be great. I want to have a wedding in a whole field of flowers!”

She threw her arms up and then brought them down to the soft bed, making a thump as she rolled around again to face Mo Han, “A field of colorful flowers, and I want to wear a white dress!”

Her voice softened as she closed her eyes and continued to imagine the scene, “It should be during the spring, so the sun is out and it isn’t too hot or too cold! There aren’t too many people. Just my best friends.”

Her eyelids began to get heavy as her talking slowed down and softened into a faint whisper, “Maybe it can be close to the ocean as well, so there are flowers and the sea. . . And. . .”

She yawned as she could barely stay awake. As she couldn’t think much anymore, she asked softly, “What about you, brother Yelin? What do you want your wedding to be like?”

There was a pause as Mo Han thought about it, laying on his back as he stared up at the dark wall. Finally, after what seemed like a long time, he said softly, “My wedding. . . The only thing I want is to have it with you.”

After saying that, the room quieted as the words were sucked into the silence. Mo Han looked over at An Luxia and noticed that her eyes were closed as her chest moved up and down slowly, her lips slightly parted as she slept soundly.

She had fallen asleep already.

— Present

“What do you think?” An Luxia asked, finishing her story, “How about let’s have our wedding on a plain of flowers near the ocean?”

Of course Mo Han would listen to whatever his wife said, so he nodded right away.

An Luxia jumped up excitedly and ran out of the room, going back to search for wedding locations again!

Mo Han watched her leave with a smile on his face as he stood up and went to order for his workers to begin searching for a location that met An Luxia’s requirements as well.

Before long, the time had flown by and the wedding day had arrived.
