“However, you should also know that this marriage isn’t just some plan to help you get out of your arranged marriage. If this is your plan, then my plan is to stay married for the rest of my life.”
An Luxia’s eyes widened slightly when he said for the rest of his life. . . That was a very long time.
“I. . . I know. You told me too.” To convince him more, she smiled and added on, “I also gave you my precious virginity I had saved for 23 years last night. You think I would easily leave you? And, I have to stay married long enough so the stupid Lu guy won’t come back.”
Mo Han was slightly surprised to hear that yesterday was her first time, and he grinned softly.
The smile on his face caused An Luxia to blush just from looking at him, “Besides all of that, you are totally my ideal type. . . in terms of appearance of course!”
Mo Han wasn’t so pleased with that, as although he was confident about his appearance, he wanted their relationship to be more than that.
“I hope in the future, I will be more than just your ideal type in terms of appearance.”
An Luxia blinked a few times and looked up, “Hopefully. . .”
There were a few more seconds of silence before An Luxia asked, “Are you really the boss of the HLX? Like the HLX? The one that everyone talks about.”
He nodded his head, “Yes, the one that everyone talks about. . . Are you scared about that?”
An Luxia shrugged, “Well I mean, of course I’m scared. . .”
Mo Han’s grasp on the steering wheel tightened slightly.
“But not really! I’m your wife, right? So you should treat me differently. . .” An Luxia rested her head on her hand and blinked a few times flirtatiously.
Mo Han glanced at her before turning his head back around and looking out the window to hide his smile. Then, he nodded his head, “Correct.”
An Luxia smiled from his response and looked down, folding her hands together.
They drove for quite a long time, and they finally arrived in front of a large gate half an hour later. An Luxia looked around and frowned, “Where are we going?”
“My home.”
The car stopped in front of the gate and it slowly opened, making creaking noises. An Luxia thought back to where they were and her frown deepened. They should be at the edge of a mountain right now. . .
After the gate opened, the car began driving up the mountain. An Luxia did not know that there was a road on the mountain and that it was open to people. This mountain was located at the edge of the country, and it was supposedly just a sight to be seen from far away.
“This is my private property,” Mo Han said, noticing her surprise.
“Yours?!” Her mouth fell open. An entire mountain could be a private property?!
Mo Han nodded his head calmly.
They continued to drive as An Luxia opened the window and stuck her head out, looking out at the cliff next to her. So the room she had woken up in this morning wasn’t his house. . .
Or maybe he had two homes?
Soon, they started driving deeper into the mountain. About 10 minutes had passed and An Luxia did not know how high up they were when they stopped in front of another gate.
This gate was bigger than the first one, and there were two stone lions on either side. Like the first one, it opened when the car stopped in front of it, and they drove in.
An Luxia looked back and forth curiously in this new territory that she never knew existed. This was only about a half an hour drive away from her school yet she had never known that there was a building on the mountain.
They stopped in front of the gigantic mansion, which had black walls. It seemed to be either three or possibly four floors, and it was very large. From the front, she could not see exactly how much land it occupied.
Mo Han parked the car in front of the mansion and stepped out, throwing the keys to a man that had walked out, wearing a black suit.
He walked around the car and opened the passenger’s seat, helping An Luxia out. Underneath the sunglasses, the man’s eyes widened but he did not express his surprise.
“Get the luggage.” Mo Han instructed the man as he picked up An Luxia’s hand and walked into the house.
As they walked in, An Luxia continued to look around in awe. She had never seen a house so. . . black.
Almost everything was decorated with a black color, and it did not appeal to An Luxia a lot.
The walls were black, the ceiling was black, the floor was black, and all the objects she had seen so far were black.
She made a note to herself that if their relationship got better and she was actually going to stay, she would definitely propose to remodel the house a little! At least add some color!
She followed him quickly, having to almost jog since his legs were incredibly long and he walked quite fast. They made many turns before stopping in front of a door. He opened it with his fingerprint and they walked in.
When the lights opened, An Luxia wasn’t surprised to see that this room was all black as well.
There was a large desk at one end of the room and several bookshelves. In the middle, there were two couches facing each other and a table in the middle.
On the other end of the room, there was a wall. Hanging on the wall, there were weapons. A lot of weapons. The entire wall was filled with knives, rifles, handguns, whips, anything she could ever imagine.
An Luxia’s eyes widened slightly as she took a step back, her hand slipping out of his. Mo Han looked back and saw where she was looking.
He looked over as well and furrowed his eyebrows together. Why didn’t his assistant turn the wall around when he left?!
He walked over to the wall and pressed on it, causing it to spin around to the other side, which was just a plain wall.
However, An Luxia had seen it already.
He gulped and placed his hands into his pocket, “Don’t worry, those are just for. . . display. They are my collection. I won’t use it. . . on you.”
So he still used it. An Luxia nodded her head softly and stepped into the room. Mo Han sat down on the couch so she sat down on the other one across from it.
Mo Han comfortably leaned back against the couch, resting his arms on the back of the couch.
He stretched out his neck, making soft cracking noises as he did before saying, “Let’s go over the marriage. . . rules now.”
