Chapter 473 473: 7th Floor Welcome II

Chapter 473 473: 7th Floor Welcome II

Of course Cole was not expecting an answer from him, but this was the [Sin Seeking Eyes] on steroids. It had felt real, like he had been really killed….or was it a time loop. He had felt everything, even received the system prompts from the attacks, and he died, and yet he was back here, he had seen the future.

This wasn’t the shitty stuff he has been doing of being aware when someone wants to attack him, or knowing that damage was coming his way a few seconds before it does. This was different, he had been in the future, by at least 5 seconds. This was no having a Spidey sense to help him evade attacks, not this was full blown precognition….. Cole was…. Disappointed.

It was a unique ability but seeing as getting that vision had almost resulted in him still getting killed, he did not see just how useful this could be except perhaps when used ahead of time to prepare against future attacks. Practical applications in battle would be very low to non existent for this technique.

This was the reality now, not like before where every skill was a combat skill in one way or the other. Practical skills could be used even in battle, Cole had once seen a gold ranked back when this was all just a game, use the cooking skill to wipe out a field of enemies, literally cooking them where they stood.

Now though it seems there would be skills for a variety of situations. And the synergy between stat and bloodline was a new one, but at the same time it did not limit him to just what the stats and their skills and techniques could offer

Cole already got a basic feeling of what [Auric Galaxy] was like, leaning into how far he had gotten in his understanding of Gravity, Cole spread his senses and awareness, which was a lot easier for him, especially since the [Auric Galaxy] skill is a domain and aura skill.

Cole remembered the name this individual had given the last time they met. Azrael. Cole increase the gravity in a circumference around him, he watched impassively as he was smashed down onto one knee before vanishing in a wisp of shadows.

Cole counted the first 80 seconds before giving up. This guy was an assassin all right, and he very much would not expose himself to Cole again after he had lost his element of surprise. He would bid his time, and watch Cole until he had a chance to strike again.

Cole spat out in annoyance, he could not even sense this guy no matter how hard he tried, but more than that was the fact the hair on the back of his neck was tickling, guess he never lost that Spidey or Raeny sense. But ultimately Azrael was still around and he would-

*Boom!*

Cole jumped up into the air as spun his revolver, jumping as he evaded a pool of only black sludge that had appeared beneath his feet, there was a suction force coming from it as thousands of eerie looking faces and hands stretched out of the pool of sludge stretching out for Cole.

It was like a scene from a horror movie, but Cole would not be becoming the snack of a pool of shadowy monsters. The revolver shifted into the hand Cannon from as Cole used [Auric Galaxy]. To create an oscillating ring of gravity to keep himself in the air.

[Requiem Of Heaven’s Flames]

A massive spell circle appeared around the mouth of the hand cannon, and then it expanded into three more, then a few extra of various sizes and colors, the sounds of camera scopes/shutters being adjusted was heard and Cole fired.

*Vooooooom!*

The recoil from the shot was so strong that Cole was shot upwards, traveling through the air as his back smashed into the metal and concrete ceiling. The pool of shadow was swallowed up by billowing golden flames that spread out, swallowing up more and more ground and turning everything it passes to slag.

Cole might not be aware of his new limits, skills and abilities now, but he was still diamond rank, and his weapons were not of the common type. He had not checked to see if the change in system affected them too seeing as he was their owner, but he still packed quite a punch with or without skills.

Still using the gravity rings, Cole moved himself to the entrance of the open blast doors he had noticed. However the moment he got through a massive spike stabbed at him, stabbing through his chest and pinning him to the wall with a loud bang, before shooting off a concentrated laser beam through his eyes, melting through his skull until the steel behind him had melted to slag.

A wave of vertigo assaulted Cole as he mistimed his trajectory and instead of going through the blast doors, he slammed himself into a ledge that was just above it, his head and eyes swimming as ye struggled to get the content of his stomach to settle down.

[Your Bloodline And The Stat Divination Have Achieved Synergy! The Technique Divining Devil’s Eye has been comprehended by 15%! Comprehend it fully to unlock the technique.]

“Fuck!”

Cole cursed out softly as he felt weak in the knees, he could hear the sound of whatever had attacked him shuffling through the blast doors. This divination stat was quickly turning out to be a bitch to have. Cole really needed to get this vision under control, they were saving his life yeah but….the timing and method of distribution sucks.

“Well what will you do now World Breaker?” Azrael’s voice cake from all around Cole, annoying him even further as he felt as someone was using his own tactics and flair against him, so this is what it feels to be on the opposite side of the world Breaker.

“Beyond those blast doors is a horror that frankly speaking neither you nor I are well equipped to deal with given our current…situation. But while I can’t deal with that thing, I can deal with you.

I’ve had time to study and understand this new system of ours. You just got here, so what would it be? You should at least die on your feet as a man and not cower on that ledge like some kitten? Or do you want me to come there and get you?”

This time Cole could feel the visions coming, hut just because he could feel it now, it didn’t mean he could stop it. He could only curse softly before the next vision took him.

“Damn it!”
