Ariel’s attitude was incomprehensible not only for Dilan but also for the others.
The others included both the Ascenders of the Undying Group and the Essence Angels, whether they were Elite or Arch-Angels.
They looked at the Princess of Haven, who was squatting on the ground trying to catch the red stickman figure that had golden outlines around it. The golden lines were shining lightly but that was already everything that could be considered special about the stickman figure.
It didn’t burn the area it stepped on and it didn’t look like the flames were extremely warm.
However, Dilan knew the truth about the stickman figure and he was pretty sure that Ariel’s unique eyes allowed her to see the truth behind the stickman figure’s rather ordinary appearance as well.
The stickman figure had been created with a tiny shred of the Flame of the Beginning’s Main body. While that didn’t sound all that dangerous at first, the power a tiny shred of the Flame of the Beginning harbored was more than enough to obliterate the entire flying island and everything in a range of more than twenty kilometers.
Everything was neatly compressed in the form of the stickman figure that turned into strands of flames whenever it was caught by Ariel Silvertale.
The Princess of Haven tried to catch the stickman figure and observe it but that seemed impossible. The stickman figure dispersed whenever her hands came to close and the flames gathered against next the back of her hand. That way, the stickman figure could never be caught…and a rather entertaining show was unveiled to the spectators of the cat and mouse game between the Flame of the Beginning and the Princess of Haven.
“Can someone explain what happened here? Ariel is a little bit…different than usual,” Dilan asked in the direction of the Essence Angels before he also turned to Marie, who seemed to have gotten closer to Ariel. At least that was what it looked like when he saw the expression in his oldest sister’s face as she looked at Ariel ‘playing around’
Dilan felt that something was wrong but he didn’t exactly dislike seeing Ariel like that. She looked serious in her attempt to analyze the flame of the beginning but the stickman figure turned the situation into a small game,
“I thought that she was a rather cold person, or that she was trying to keep up that image, at the very least.” He murmured.
The others nodded their head, while the Angels chose to close their eyes and forget anything they had seen today. Their future Queen was still the same dignified, honorable and elegant Archangel Lesser God as before.
She was the most beautiful and mature existence in the whole universe, and she would never…NEVER, play around like someone else was doing just now…it was not possible after all.
While the Essence Angels were trying to hide from the truth, Dilan savored what he saw in front of himself. Ariel Silvertale had removed her Armor Set. She wore a white one-piece dress that was tightly wrapped around her body. It highlighted her curvaceous figure perfectly and elevated her appearance even more if that was even possible.
“I think she looks better that way than overly serious,” Marie suddenly said and Dilan couldn’t agree more.
“She looks cute and beautiful, rather than a Glacier Princess, or whatever you call someone who looks beautiful but is impossible to approach.”
Dilan didn’t think much when he spoke with his sister but Marie looked at him with a mischievous smile.
“I heard you guys were acquaintances…so what’s going on here? Tell me~!” Marie lightly pushed her brother in the side but Dilan didn’t even notice that right now.
He thought about her straightforward behavior from before and when their nose almost touched…it wouldn’t have taken much and…
Dilan shook his head and he smiled weirdly.
‘I am pretty sure that I didn’t become a coward all of a sudden…well, I shouldn’t do something stupid as long as we rely on the protection of the Angel’s Haven Alliance…hahaha’ Dilan thought, continuing to shake his head.

Not only Lara was glaring at her for overdoing it, but Rory, Yvonne, Kathrine, and Victoria were staring daggers at her.
‘I should hold back…probably…’ She thought and cleared her throat.
“You’re probably confused about the sudden changes that happened in the flying island, right?” Marie asked and Dilan nodded his head.
“When you arrived at the flying island you probably noticed the new buildings as well,” She added and Dilan nodded once again.
“Well, it’s just like Ariel said earlier…just that she left out a few pieces of information. She ordered the construction of a teleportation circle that connects the flying island to the Capital of the Angel Haven’s territory in Cansum, a large arena with a few dorms where a bunch of Elite Essence Angel Demi Gods are constantly stationed and a house…where she lived for the last three weeks.
She got permission for everything, but that was mostly because she was worried about your well-being. Ariel didn’t hear anything about you for nine days before she appeared on the flying island, all by herself…
As you can imagine, she looked like an ice-cold princess, someone who was impossible to approach. Yet, the moment she saw me and my sister, she came to us and asked about your well-being and so on…”
Dilan was even more confused when he heard what his oldest sister had to say. However, Marie’s explanation didn’t really tell him much about the sudden friendliness between the Undying Group and the Essence Angels.
“But didn’t you guys ha–…” Dilan was just about to ask when Marie interrupted.
“We didn’t like the Angel’s Haven Alliance because we suffered a lot, that’s right. However, we didn’t expect that their leader would be so worried about you.
She visited the flying island every single day despite being busy fighting against the other alliances…so we gave her permission to construct a few things and stay on the flying island however long she wants.”
Dilan nodded his head in understanding once again and he finished digesting the information he had just received.
“Ah…”
“She cares a lot about you, much more than she shows…”
“…Oh..”
