“Is that so? Who told you that bullshit?” Dilan retorted to the arrogant remark of the True God, who looked more like a monster than most monsters.
He stared at the True Lizard God, which was the loving name Dilan gave him, without backing off in the slightest.
“I don’t know who told you that we’re desperate but that’s far from the truth. It was definitely none of my people who blabbered around nonsensically! So what nonsense are you spouting?”
The True Lizard God didn’t expect Dilan to be completely unfazed by the mana he unleashed. His mana was empowered by his True Divinity’s Power and it was not something someone with weak willpower or the mental power below that of a True God could endure easily.
That was also something Dilan noticed as he looked at the pale faces of his people.
“Retract your mana, Lizard!” He ordered, his voice sharp enough to cut through the entire room and to cause ripples in the mana that was unleashed by the True Gods around him.
However, the True Lizard God didn’t seem to be affected by Dilan’s command, not in the way Dilan intended. Rather than retracting his mana, the True Lizard God released more mana explosively.
Even the stronger Gods around him couldn’t help but start frowning. They were ready to intervene when they noticed something.
Dilan had appeared behind the True Lizard God all of a sudden. The True Lizard God expected a sudden attack and he turned around in an instant, ready to engulf Dilan in the Fear and Oppression his True Divinity could unleash.
Yet, what he saw in Dilan’s eyes caused him to halt in his tracks. Dilan lifted his flat hand before he opened his mouth slowly.
“Devour.”
Blazing flames burst out of Dilan’s stretched-out hand. The flames were bright red in color, but thick veins of golden strands spread through them. The golden veins pulsated as they came in touch with the True Lizard God’s mana, and a powerful suctioning force emerged from within them.
Momentarily stunned at the sight of Dilan’s eyes…or the area where his eyes were supposed to be, the True Lizard God noticed too late that his entire body was shrouded in the flames that had been unleashed by the Flame of the Beginning.
Enraged due to Dilan’s anger, the Flame of the Beginning didn’t even think about holding back. It unleashed flames strong enough to burn everything it touched while making sure that they wouldn’t spread out to the Gods around the designated target.
A stifled scream full of pain escaped the mouth of the True Lizard God as his mana was devoured and the scales covering his body burned.
However, Dilan stared at the burning Lizard without mercy while his eye sockets were filled with the exact same flames which he had unleashed through his palm
It took less than ten seconds for Dilan to devour the mana unleashed by the True Lizard God and it was only afterward that Dilan retracted the flames.
“That’s enough, I guess,” Dilan said, not for everyone else to hear but only for the Flame of the Beginning to understand. The flames were suctioned back into his palm where they circulated through to merge back with the Flame of the Beginning.
The flames within Dilan’s eye sockets had also been dispersed, revealing his cold glare as he stared down at the miserable figure of the True Lizard God.
“You cannot even survive ten seconds against a Lesser God without Divinity. Do you think that your help is valuable for the Mystic Mission? How much do you think you and your race are worth? Some of our allies will be equivalent to the strongest Ancient True Gods of the Ancient and Primordial races, yet, you’re talking to me as if you’re someone great? You’re funny…” Dilan thundered coldly, his expression making it look like he was looking at some trash.
However, what Dilan was actually looking at was a half-burned Lizard, whose pained screams were completely ignored by Dilan. He moved away, but stopped midway, his head flicking backward to the writhing figure of the True Lizard God.
“If you’re not interested in joining my mission and taking revenge for the harm and oppression you guys had to face in the past, you are free to go…but don’t even think about trying to exploit us during the negotiations!”
After that was being said, Dilan pointed at a Lesser God in his group whom he motioned to tend to the True Lizard God’s wounds.
The strongest Healer in the Undying Group had been nurtured to the level of a Lesser God within only a few years. That was exceptional but it also showed that the Healer was far from ordinary.
Looking at the young man, Dilan was pretty sure that their Healer would become a powerful True God in the future.
“I’m sorry that the meeting got interrupted. If someone questions my strength, I am more than willing to spar with someone, or fight a group of True Gods if necessary. But I hope you guys can come to a consensus so that I won’t have to fight too many times in succession….” Dilan pointed out without further bothering about the incident that happened just a few moments earlier.
It looked like Dilan had completely forgotten that he had already demonstrated his power more than enough. He gave them another offer to show them just how strong he was.
It was almost as if he was hoping for it…

Hearing the name ‘Titan’, everyone’s attention was drawn to Dilan once again. His nonchalant attitude caused many to frown but his expression showed clearly that he was not just playing around.
He was serious.
Dilan was going to beat up a member of an Ancient race!
