The Demon of the Ancient Battlefield had attacked Dilan out of nowhere.
Dilan didn’t die but he was still greatly surprised about the combat prowess and the attitude of the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield.
He could immediately tell that the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield had been agitated just because Dilan called him an the other Abandoned Children fools.
It was fine to feel like agitated but nearly killing someone because of that was certainly the wrong way. The only reasons for him to keep considering the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield a suitable comrade were pretty simple. The Demon of the Ancient Battlefield was extremely powerful, maybe even stronger than the Lightning Titan.
As long as he could convince the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield to join their mission as an independent force or something similar to that, everything would be fine.
Other than that, Dilan didn’t think too highly of the assassination attempt because the Demon of the Ancient had known that he was the Undying.
Dilan was pretty sure that his opponent wanted to test the true extent of hid Undying power.
“Are you willing to follow us on the battlefield? We have a memory shard with which you can receive a summary of the situation, which includes the appearance of the two Fate Changers, the Veils’ births, and much more.
It’s a little bit more detailed if you use the memory shard…but you will be able to fight the Ancients and Primordials. Is that not what you’ve been looking forward to?” The Lightning Titan asked while taking a step forward.
However, it was no sooner that he took a step forward that the situation around him changed. A maw emerged around his right tight and it bit down with all its might as if it was trying to bite of the Lightning Titan’s leg.
The Lightning Titan released the crimson lightning from his right leg, destroying the maw in an instant.
“What is the meaning of this?” He asked the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield, who merely shrugged his shoulders.
“I am not sure if you guys are worthy enough to fight side by side with me. From what I can tell you didn’t become a lot stronger. As for the Undying…he is merely a Lesser God….There is still a long way to go for him even if he was quite fast a moment earlier.”
While the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield spoke, the Lightning Titan unleashed the crimson lightning from his arms. He exerted the perfect Lightning God’s Fist technique according to the knowledge which Dilan had implanted in his head.
The instructions for the technique were perfect for him, just like the technique. Exerting the technique at its full potential, the surrounding area burst open completely. The black ground in a range of more than one kilometer broke open but the Lightning Titan was not done.
He activated his True Divinity and enlarged in size. At the same time, he used the attached armament of his True Divinity. The Lightning Storm spread all over the Lightning Titan’s huge body like a second layer of his skin.
His strength was enhanced drastically and so was the lethality of the crimson lightning.
Looking at the changes that occurred to the Lightning Titan, the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield smiled lightly.
His body was much smaller than the Titan’s, and so was his physique. He was rather lean, looked like a deformed human whose spine had been broken more than ten times and his skin was black like the abyss. The leathery black skin seemed to be boiling and it caused a reeking strength that permeated the air.
“That’s more to my liking…I didn’t expect that you would finally remove the lightning storm sphere fro–…huh?!”
The Demon of the Ancient Battlefield was not even able to finish speaking when he was interrupted by someone who had appeared above him. He squinted his black eyes and lifted his arm in response to the attack that was about to follow up.
His arm transformed in the blink of an eye, turning into the maw of a large black existence that desired nothing more than to devour its opponents!

Dilan had unleashed his whole power the moment the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield had begun moving.
He knew that hesitation would take away the opportunity he sought. Transferring half of his Life force into the Immortality Aura and the rest in the replenishment of his Mana that was used to unleash the highest concentrated form of the Power of Destruction, Dilan repeated this process more than a hundred times from the moment he shot toward the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield until he appeared right above him.
It didn’t even take a millisecond for him to cross the distance, and the Flame of the Beginning required even less time to enhance Dilan’s body as much as possible.
Oricalm had formed into a one-edged longsword whose blade was enhanced to the peak with the fused Destruction Immortality Aura.
“You look a little bit pale, here is some sunlight!” Dilan thundered while the Flame of the Beginning increased the intensity of its flames as high as possible without decreasing Dilan’s strength in the process.
A moment later, Dilan cleaved Oricalm downward, releasing the might of the Destruction Immortality Aura the instant it collided with the hideous grimace of the unknown being that had formed out of the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield’s arm.
The compressed Destruction Immortality Aura gathered at the sharp edge of the longsword and it cut deep inside the unknown existence that screamed out in unbearable pain.
A moment later Dilan was about to be eaten alive by a much bigger maw that had manifested around the Demon of the Ancient Battlefield.
However, Dilan just smiled as he used Instant Teleportation to disappear.
Or that was what the Demo of the Ancient Battlefield thought, at least.
Little did the powerhouse know that Dilan didn’t flee. He merely left the enclosure of the huge maw.
“Here is another strike!”
