Inside the city library of Vonol, a few minutes before the incident inside the library.
In a beautifully decorated room, if one looked they would sight the figures of two men sitting opposite to each other, a table separating them.
These men, were the library keeper Elder Manson, and his friend Joshua. One thing common to the both of them was that their figures radiated almost nothing.
Almost.
The small whiffs of power their bodies exuded held a power more dense and Mana-rich than tier 2’s, which meant they were both experts who held power in tier 3!.
“What do you mean there would be some changes in ‘Bozolom’?”, Elder Manson asked, with a frown.
Heaving a sigh his friends replied, “I don’t know much but the higher-ups of the kingdom are saying that, the royal family wants to change a few things in the games”, Joshua replied shrugging.
A thoughtful look appeared on Elder Manson’s face. He was tasked to keep the library of Vonol safe, due to the power he had achieved, so he hardly left his room in the library, which caused for him to be oblivious to some changes in their nation.
Although his friend, Joshua, who was a professor in the royal academy, Informed him of things, though he usually did this through communication amulets, but because the royal academy had given its students, and staff a leave due to the coming ‘Bozolom’, he was able to visit in person.
“Though I did hear that the students could participate, since the prize which is currently unknown to the public, is something that even the noble families would want their heirs to get”. Joshua added while caressing his beardless chin with his fingers.
Joshua was a man who looked somewhat in his thirties or late twenties, he had shorth orange hair, which complimented his dark-blue eyes, and straight nose. His looks made him above average while his tanned skin made him look even more handsome.
Heaving a deep sigh, Elder Manson opened his mouth to talk, “The old foggies of this nation seriously need to stop plotting”, he said, just before his eyes sharpened.
Snapping his head towards the direction where he sensed the aura of a person who was ready to fight. Then he moved.
“I’ll be back”, he said, exiting the room at breakneck speed, leaving a smiling Joshua, who shook his head at his friends diligence.
Arriving just in time to see, Noah release his aura, Elder Manson’s heavy and powerful aura expanded.

Glancing at Noah’s leaving figure, Elder Manson sighed silently, though no one saw it.
Sweeping his gaze on the scared figures of the humans, he shook his head slightly. It had been a long time since he met someone that didn’t fear his presence.
Walking down a platform of condensed water, like Noahs’ lightning platform. Elder Manson stepped on the ground floor, the limp body of Hepter still bound by his spell.
Noticing that those present were frequently bowing, he ignored them as his voice rang out, “Prisca”, he called, his voice calm but everyone could hear it.
The person who answered his call was the receptionist, who had attended to Noah an hour earlier. Rushing towards Elder Manson’s position, those on the line parted ways to let her pass.
Arriving in front of Elder Manson, she bowed saying, “You called sir?”. Waving his hand to stop her gesture, his opened his mouth to talk, “Who was that man?”, he asked.
Straightening her position, Prisca looked at him for a second unsure of what to say. Seeing her confusion he talked, “I know his name, but do you know where he is from, or if he is from a noble family?”, he added.
“No sir, according to what his ID said, his name is Noah, and that’s all”, she said with a curious expression.
Furrowing his brows, he let the matter go. Turning his attention towards the still passed out Hepter, Elder Manson splashed water on him to wake him up.
Groaning while opening his eyes, Hepter seemed to relax, just before realization dawned on him, and the cold stare coming from Elder Manson confirmed it all.
Releasing him of his spell, Elder Manson’s voice rang out, “You actually dared to try to attack a customer”, he said his voice gaining a chilling tone.
At those words, Hepter began to shake, he opened his mouth multiple times but no words came out. “What should we do to him sir?”, Prisca asked as a tinge of disgust seeped out of her tone, it seemed she didn’t like the man.
“Do whatever you want, just make sure to remove twenty percent of his monthly salary”, Elder Manson said, creating a platform made of Water to return back to his friend, Ignoring the pleading Hepter.
After a few steps he turned back as his voice rang out, “Also, bring some tea for my guest”, he ordered. While Prisca bowed in response.
Immediately he was sure no one could see his face, a cruel smile appeared on Elder Manson’s face, Joshua hated tea!.
Getting back into the room, Elder Manson saw Joshua sitting, his eyes not staring at any particular thing, signifying that he was in thoughts.
Noticing Elder Manson’s figure after he had been there for a few seconds, Joshua opened his mouth to talk, “What happened out there, you seemed ready to bring down the whole building, for a second I was scared for my life”, Joshua said, his voice gaining a mocking tone at the end of his sentence.
Rolling his eyes with a light smile on his face, Elder Manson replied, “Oh, it was just a staff who was about to attack a customer”, he said
Staring at his figure, Joshua’s voice rang out, “And?”, he said, dragging it.
Shaking his head Elder Manson replied, “He was different”, he said, “Different how?”, Joshua replied
“He was for starters strong, though still at the begining of the middle stage of tier 2, his aura was able to match someone who was in the peak of that stage, and somehow he was able to withstand my aura though not completely, that is still very rare.
But the most significant difference, was the lack of fear in his eyes, he looked worried but there was no fear”. Elder Manson explained, a light smile on his face
All Joshua could do was raise an eyebrow. “He reminded me of when we were younger”, Elder Manson added.
At those words Joshua burst Into laughter, “Now that is very rare”, he said between his laughter.
“So what did you do?. Such a person is bound to either get killed fast or get very strong if under proper guidance”, Joshua said after he stopped laughing.
Staring at Joshua with a blank expression, Elder Manson replied, “I let him go”. he stated, causing Joshua to act his eyebrows in astonishment.
“What could I have done?”, he asked.
“Asked him to come again, or that you would like to speak with him” Joshua replied immediately.
“And then what?, take him under my tutelage, to become the next keeper of the library?. This place is incredibly boring, I wouldn’t want to make someone else suffer it. And besides if I did that wouldn’t word he around and the kid might be targeted. Do you know how many noble families want me to tutor their heirs?, Elder Manson countered. n𝚘𝚟l.co𝚖
Those word left Joshua speechless, scratching his head in mild embarrassment, he remembered something, “Why did you call him a kid, isn’t he a middle stage rank 2” he asked puzzled.
“Oh, he looked something twenty four, or twenty five” Elder Manson replied sitting.
“But you know that doesn’t matter, we are over fifty years but still look this young!”, Joshua said pointing at their faces
Shrugging his shoulder’s, Elder opened his mouth to talk “Oh I knew he was a kid, due to his expression and the Mana flowing in his body, he was definitely in the middle stage but he hadn’t totally honed his aura. Those who have lived longer and faced battles automatically radiate a mature aura, but his were still in it’s early stages”, Elder Manson explained, causing Joshua to almost fall off his chair.
“What’s his name” Joshua asked standing.
Raising an eyebrow at his friends gesture, he replied, “His name was Noah, according to what I was told, his ID didn’t hold a noble families name”, he said causing Joshua’s eyes to glitter, ‘So young, I’ve hit the jackpot’, Joshua said in his mind.
“And oh, he’s long gone by now”, Elder Manson said with a smug smile.
