In the heart of the imperial palace lay a dark sinister place that most people wouldn’t believe existed. Under such a beautiful exterior and lavish architectural structures was an underground dungeon that never saw the sun. In the past, this was a place where traitors to the throne would disappear never to be seen or heard from again.
But for the past twenty-four hours, this place was housing the most dangerous threat to the throne yet. A throne that had been robbed by the Qilins. One of them being the actual legitimate heir to the throne and the other directly related to the invaders. Crazy right?
Well, such kinds of things are normal in imperial dramas. But that wasn’t the most problematic thing about this issue. The problem was that these two turned a dungeon into some type of love shack, well, the censored version of it.
The level of cringe in the dungeon and the number of pink bubbles floating around was disturbing. If you really wanted to see how bad it was you would just have to look at the guards’ faces during shift change. Their expressions really didn’t look good and the ones going on the job couldn’t understand why their expressions were so grim.
What kind of prisoners were they guarding? Was it Godzilla and King Kong’s baby or something that would have these half breeds looking like that? Were the prisoners that difficult to handle. But they were chained with latrion though.
These questions circulated in their minds that is until they finally stepped through the threshold. After what they heard inside they finally understood what was going on. The first words the group heard were, “Ah-Fei, don’t make trouble….. argh, why are you being clingy?”
“Call me husband and I will stop… In that voice you use when I am….. doing stuff to you,” said another deep voice causing the group of guards to freeze on the spot.
“Fuck no!” yelled a husky voice with flirtatious undertones, “do you want to sleep on the floor?”
Guards, “…”
“Yep, that’s the type of shit you guys would be dealing with?” said the last guard as he handed over the keys.
“Can’t we just separate them,” whispered one of the men his expression very unsightly, “I mean they are chained up, right?”
The guard from the last shift change scoffed before pointing at some faint blood spatter on the wall. “Be my guest just as long as you are ready to join the last guy who tried that,” he said which brought up a major question.
Was Rui Fei able to get out of those chains or was his aether incapacitated at all? How did a guy who was supposed to be helpless manage to kill a half breed who tried to separate them? Something was definitely fishy but no one asked these questions with good reason.
They just chose to ignore it and let Rui Fei do as he pleased. This job wasn’t worth dying for anyway. Rui Fei who was obviously keeping this thing going in prison for a reason was enjoying eating so much tofu that he didn’t think what sort of reaction Ji Yao would have after finding this out.
His fingers were busy walking up Ji Yao’s chest before pulling up a bit of Ji Yao’s lapel trying to see the unmentionables. Ji Yao clutched his lapel preventing Rui Fei from stripping him naked and said, “Baby, I am hungry,” trying to distract him.
But Ji Yao wasn’t at all distracted. Instead, he said, “Really… then I will feed you,” while climbing up to straddle him.”
Ji Yao pushed him away while saying, “Not that kind of hungry idiot.”
“Idiots know each other,” replied Rui Fei with a deep throaty chuckle while falling back to the stone bed that didn’t seem as uncomfortable as before.
Ji Yao, “…”
He really wants to take a vow of chastity, doesn’t he?
“Oh, here I have a better one. If you are engaged to an idiot then what does that make you?” continued Rui Fei while baiting Ji Yao to accept his proposal. With his lips pressed together suppressing a smile, he stared at Ji Yao intently with high expectations.
Ji Yao who had only caught the indirect accusation that he was an idiot flipped out causing the guards to take a few steps away from the warzone. No one wanted to involve themselves in a lovers quarrel.
Normally if one so much as involve themselves between them they might end up getting their asses kicked by both of them so it was best to stick this one out.
Rui Fei eventually managed to subdue Ji Yao and instead of calming his sweetheart, he said, “You didn’t deny it. You are my fiancee now. You agreed to marry me.”
Ji Yao, “…..”
“You just set me up didn’t you,” asked Ji Yao as a tingling sensation spread all over his cheeks.
Rui Fei grinned like a fool before lowering his head to kiss his lips. “You know I did,” he said his eyes brimming with affection. He was obviously smitten by him and could only see Ji Yao in this entire world.
Ji Yao averted his eyes while his hands wrapped around Rui Fei’s neck. Licking his lower lip he whispered, “What do you think?” with all the shyness in his face vanished without a trace.
The smile on Rui Fei’s face grew bigger and bigger as he stroked Ji Yao’s hair. “You will?” he whispered the question with his voice a little brittle his emotions threatening to come out.
Ji Yao nodded his head a little and he was about to speak when loud annoying clapping sounds ruined this sweet precious moment. This time Ji Yao was extremely pissed off. His hands loosening he yelled, “The fuck!!!” with his expression as dark as it should be.
He glowered at his grandfather standing there like a creep while doing that stupid villain clap that was so annoying.
Rui Fei’s gazed at Qilin San and said, “Can we just finish up here? I really want to hear him say it.”
Qilin San gritted his teeth with his hands frozen midair before saying, “Is that how you speak to your elders?”
The pair stared at each other and Ji Yao asked, “Do you hear someone speaking?”
Rui Fei grinned happily as he shook his head, “Nope, probably a ghost or something. Ignore it and continue. What were you about to say?”
The ghost Qilin San, “???”
“You!…,” yelled Qilin San at a loss for words but before he could continue a loud whoosh sound was heard from above ground before an explosion wreaked havoc.
The effects of the blast shook the dungeon causing the walls and roof to crumple with clouds of dust everywhere. Rui Fei shielded the person below him with the rubble falling on Rui Fei’s back. As the aftershock wore off Qilin San who had been protecting himself with an inferno surrounding his body retrieved his seraphic energy his expression as dark as the bottom of a charcoal pot.
“Playtime is over… its time for you to enter the centre stage,” said Qilin San before exploding the dungeon gate.
Boom!!!!
