Wedding Agreement With CEO Novel

Chapter 9 - SIGN A CONTRACT AGREEMENT

“You sign this!” Lucas handed Ellena a folder, after a few minutes they were in the car.

“What’s this?” Ellena looked stunned looking at him. In fact, she didn’t even dare to reach for the map.

“You open it! Inside is our agreement letter,” Lucas said to inform.

With some hesitation, Ellena reached for the map. Opened the white folder, there were several sheets of paper inside. She glanced briefly at Lucas, before reading the contents of the paper.

Ellena looks serious reading the rows of words written on several sheets of paper. She read it very carefully, because it involved a very important matter, where the fate of his life was at stake.

She wanted to protest one by one the contents of the agreement. But whatever the power, she has no power. Only Lucas has the right to change every word in the agreement, while she can only obey and surrender to the situation.

It was too fast for her. At a glance, she thought back to her mother and her young brother, also Keenan as her lover. Either this step she took was for the best, or quite the opposite.

Ellena’s eyes were teary looking at the agreement, she still didn’t even dare to move the pen in her hand. This was truly the most difficult choice for her. However, what can she do.

“You still have doubts?” Lucas asked who had been looking Ellena.

Instantly Ellena flinched, then turned to her side. “N-no, Sir.”

“Then what are you waiting for?”

“W-okay, Sir, I’ll sign right away.” Ellena looked nervous. However, she immediately signed the agreement, albeit with slightly shaking hands.

“Yes, Sir.” Ellena gave the map back to Lucas.

“Good! Immediately send your account number, and state how much in total you want to pay off your family’s debts!” asked Reksa, grinning. It seemed that he was very happy, Ellena was already willing to accept his offer.

Yes, of course. That way he and his family will not be embarrassed, because his marriage was almost annulled.

“What are you doing here?”

Lucas got up from his seat, when Selena suddenly came into his room without permission. He looked at the woman who was approaching him with sharp eyes.

“We need to talk right now,” Selena replied, after she was standing right in front of Lucas a short distance away.

“There’s nothing more for us to talk about!” said Lucas. “Get out of my room right now!” he said, raising his right hand, pointing it towards the door.

“You can’t cancel our wedding unilaterally, Lucas!” Selena said looking furious.

Of course, Selena didn’t agree with Lucas’ decision. For years she struggled to get married to Lucas, and snatched all of her possessions. However, suddenly she had to be willing to let him go when she was about to get married. It really frustrated her. All her plans fell through in no time, just because of a mistake.

If only at that time, Stevan was willing to listen to what she had to say, maybe things wouldn’t have happened like this. For a long time, she was able to keep her secret with Stevan. However, just because of that small mistake, everything fell apart.

“Why can’t I? Don’t I have the right to choose who deserves to be my wife?” Lucas pursed his lips, staring scornfully at his ex-girlfriend’s face.

“But you and your family will be embarrassed. Haven’t we already spread out all the invitations?” Selena drew closer, then stroked Lucas’ shoulder. However, Lucas quickly brushed the woman’s hand away.

“Don’t touch me! I don’t want to be touched by a cheap woman like you!” said Lucas even more furious.

Lucas’ anger this time managed to make Selena surprised and scared.

“You think, just because of such a small matter, I’d still marry you? No, Selena! There are still many good women I could marry, besides you!”

“Come on, Lucas … I want—”

“Do not come close!” Lucas restrained Selena’s steps, as Selena was about to approach him again.

“I’m sorry, Lucas. I know I was wrong, but you can’t treat me like this.” Selena seemed to put on a pitiful expression.

“Then you’re free to treat me however you want, right?” Lucas rolled his eyes.

He couldn’t understand how Selena could say something like that, after doing such a big mistake against him.

“It’s not like that. I’m sorry, I made a mistake,” Selena pleaded.

“And you think sorry will take away all my pain and disappointment?” Lucas seemed to clench one hand, trying to contain his emotions at that moment. “You leave my room right now, and never see me again! I’m sick of seeing women like you!”

“No, Lucas. I’m not leaving here until you forgive me.” Selena seemed to shake her head. She couldn’t stop her tears from falling down her smooth white cheeks, without the slightest stain.

Selena didn’t give up. It seemed that she really didn’t want to part with Lucas. Still, Lucas didn’t want to give her a second chance.

Selena’s actions were too painful for Lucas, so Lucas couldn’t forgive her so easily.

“Selena, get out!” Lucas shouted, sick of seeing Selena’s face in his room for too long.

“No, Lucas.” Selena still hasn’t stopped crying. She hoped Lucas would forgive her mistake.

“You don’t have to worry, because I have no intention of canceling the wedding.”

Lucas’ words this time of course made Selena widen in disbelief. She quickly wiped her tears, then stepped closer to Lucas.

“Is that true? You’re not lying, Lucas?” Selena asked reassuringly.

“Why would I cancel the marriage, when I’ve found a good woman who will take your place.” Lucas smiled bitterly as he looked at the woman who still loved so much.

Yes, right. Lucas is still in love with Selena. But unfortunately, his love was defeated by the pain that was now ruling his body and soul. He believes in his own decision, that Selena deserves to be left.

“What do you mean? Does that mean you ….” Selena trailed off. She wore an expression of disbelief, as if demanding an explanation from Lucas right then and there.

“Yeah, you’re right. I’ve indeed found someone who is more than anything else than you. Do you think I’d be quiet when you betrayed me like that yourself? You’re wrong, Selena. I’d rather have that useless man over me who has everything. You’re stupid Selena. I can’t understand how I could love a stupid woman like you. Oh no! Forget it! Because that doesn’t apply to me anymore. the only woman I really love. You understand?”

Lucas seemed to walk slowly around the body of Selena who was standing nearby. He deliberately wanted to heat up Selena. In fact, he still hadn’t changed that sinister look.. A look full of hatred.
