Primordial Dimensions Novel

Chapter 88 - Holy Being

If his memories weren’t deceiving him, Aisha Hael was a 20-year-old woman with mana purity of at least 90%. It was said that she had the platinum occupation called Holy Knight which enhanced all attacks with a holy light, but nobody knew for sure.

As such, she was at the top of humanity’s Expert stages within the Basic Primordial dimensions.

The Valkyries were her personal special cavalry unit, which Uncle Lars had given to her in order to take charge of perilous situations within Basic dimensions.

Shane knew that Aisha was Lars’ disciple but he had only met her once at a military event.

Apparently, her parents had been good friends of his Uncle. Thus he had raised her as one of his own after her parents had lost their lives in a beast tide in the intermediate dimensions.

Aisha’s strength was unrivaled, her leadership style exceptional while her determination was nothing to joke about.

The Valkyries she trained could be said to be her team with which she went out on hunting and training trips within the dimensions, causing all of them to have a mana purity of at least 80%.

She only accepted ambitious and hard-working women into her unit, causing the combat prowess of the team to soar higher. Their close knit relationship was also one reason for their superior teamwork.

The only drawback was that the team members were nearly irreplaceable so if one of the Valkyries were to die, it not only altered the group dynamics but also an emotional loss.

Right now, all humans and awakened beasts were suppressed by the thick bloodlust radiating from the bloodlust thunder wolf.

Suddenly everyone saw a thunderstorm emerge from the direction the bloodlust came from. The darkness dissipated, opening the path to a six-meter-tall and more than ten-meter long wolf. Two horns protruded out of its forehead, while thick electric currents swirled around the horns vigorously as if they were live wires.

Its eyes turned red with the bloodlust increasing another notch, as dozens of lightning spears manifested next to the bloodlust thunder wolf, which it released without any hesitation.

Shane’s eyes widened when he saw that the lightning spears didn’t pierce through human soldiers but rather through the gigantic, horned lizards and other awakened beasts all around them. The spears killed them by piercing their skulls, and chests, cutting them open like a knife slicing through butter as they gushed out of their bodies.

‘Why?!’ He asked himself and the soldiers around him and on the battlefield asked themselves the same question. The bloodlust thunder wolf’s purple fur began to turn slightly red, while the bloodlust around it began to shimmer with a red hue.

“WHAT?!” Shane shouted in shock, not knowing what was going on… It could have been the effect of the bloodlust thunder wolf’s ability, but then why would it attack one of its own instead of killing humans?

On the other hand, it could have been a procedure to unseal an evolution restriction. No matter what the case, Shane could only look in shock at the sole surviving wolf standing against the whole shelter.

The Shelter tide seemed to be over because a single beast possibly couldn’t have the ability to fight thousands of enemies at the same time. Additionally, the reinforcement was still streaming through the dimensional portal.

If the bloodlust thunder wolf would become stronger with each kill it made, the whole situation would reverse. He saw Aisha and her Valkyries charging fearlessly towards the wolf on top of their Radiant-Highland horses.

The Valkyries rode on radiant highland horses, which were horses at the awakened rank, without any combat abilities. Aisha rode on a variant horned holy radiant highland horse that amplified her holy energy even further.

The speed of the wind rider horses and Radiant-Highland horses couldn’t be compared with each other due to the vast gap in speed.

Aisha rode in front of the Valkyries, with her holy mana radiating spear in her hands. The bloodlust thunder wolf roared in rage, manifesting purple lightning spears with a tiny amount of a red color mixed within it.

Shooting them towards the Valkyries, Aisha suddenly released a terrifying amount of mana. It led to the emergence of a gigantic illusionary being that looked like a goddess with holy light enveloping it.

Shane didn’t know if it was really a goddess or not, but if there was a god or deity, it would definitely look like the manifested being Aisha had summoned. An unimaginable amount of holy light radiated from her, making it difficult for him to even see her face.

The only thing he saw was white hair fluttering in the darkness.

As the goddess raised her arms, Shane felt a terrifying suction force trying to envelop him hundred of meters away. The lighting spears that were shot towards Aisha and the Valkyries forcefully averted their trajectory. Instead of attacking the humans, the spears dissipated inside the holy being above Aisha that in turn dissipated into thin air, as if it had never existed.

Everyone’s jaw dropped to the ground, including Shane who was baffled by what he saw.

‘What the hell is that? A skill or maybe an ability?’ He assumed it to be either of the two. He felt that even if he would ask Aisha later, she would most likely ignore his question, or do something worse.

He was also not keen to tell anyone about his blessing or innate skill, leading him to the assumption that Aisha would most likely hate it too.

Even if that was the case, Shane couldn’t help but think of all kinds of possibilities that could summon such a terrifying, yet beautiful existence.

‘It’s either a limited occupational skill, an extremely rare and hard to obtain unique skill, an Innate skill, a skill obtained from a limited title… maybe even a blessing?… What if it is an Inherited ability?’

Shane’s knowledge about the Primordial Dimension was vast, but that wouldn’t help him in figuring out more about Aisha’s mysterious skill. It could have been either of the formerly named skills, while an Inherited ability was the least likely.

This was because to obtain an Inherited ability, her birth would have had to manifest a conspicuous phenomenon. With the appearance of a holy being or a fiend, she would have been either blessed or cursed at birth. Shane hadn’t heard of something like that happen over the last twenty years.

An Inherited ability wouldn’t have to be advantageous because it could also be harmful. But, if it had a positive effect it was definitely worth as much as a blessing or innate skill, maybe even both together.

Shane had admired the being Aisha had summoned and he felt as if it looked similar to Aisha, with her white hair twirling in the air while only the holy light was a bit different.

Shaking his head, he disregarded the thought about Aisha’s weird, yet powerful ability.

As such, he focused more on the clash that was about to happen at any moment.

Shocked by the sudden appearance of the holy being that devoured its lightning spears, the bloodlust thunder wolf couldn’t help but shiver in fright before it roared in rage.

Enveloped with electric currents and pushing itself from the ground, the bloodlust thunder wolf reached a breathtaking speed, as it charged towards the left side of the spearhead formation of Aisha and her Valkyries.
