<Ding. Goblin; Level 20>
[Goblins??] Qin Hua stared at the three skinny green creatures in front of her.
They made some weird noises that she did not understand and they rushed towards her with their shining daggers.
Qin Hua flinched. When she was fighting with the lackeys back in the apartment complex, some of them had tried attacking her with kitchen knives, but that only barely grazed her skin.
However, she didn’t want to make that same assumption with the threatening daggers they were holding. She tried inspecting it but that didn’t reveal anything.
Deciding against fighting them head-on, Qin Hua activated [Dash] and jumped into a shadow nearby before the goblins reached her. Though because of her huge body, one of the attacks went through and a chunk of her health dropped. The goblins were also extremely agile and matched her speed without any effort.
She didn’t worry about it too much, as she had jumped into a shadow, and now had a second to take a breather and come up with some sort of solution.
But before she could even finish that thought…
Stab!
The goblins did not stop even after she had jumped into the shadow and accurately continued to attack the spot where she had disappeared.
Another chunk of health disappeared and Qin Hua almost dropped her jaw on the ground. She still received damage in the shadow form!
Even though it was considerably less, it looked like she can still be attacked and injured while hidden in the shadow.
She quickly moved away jumping into a different shadow and kept bouncing around.
Both the goblins and the zombie craned their necks left and right trying to follow her movements, but she successfully managed to throw them off their scent.
She hid in the shadows and stalked the three goblins patiently as they ganged up on the zombie, killing it in under 10 seconds.
The zombie waved its sharp whip-like hands but the goblins were faster and their daggers cut through its body like it was butter.
Qin Hua gulped seeing that unbelievable scene.
All this while, she had assumed that the zombies were the disaster that had fallen upon the world, but it seemed that the real disaster was these otherworldly creatures. How were they even getting here?
She shook her head and tried to focus on the problem at hand. She had the option to escape just like this. She didn’t really have to fight these three goblins. Well, at least for now.
On the other hand, if she at all decided to fight them, it was very dangerous and had considerable risk, not to mention it was 1 Vs 3.
Unfortunately, while she was still mulling over her decision, it looked like she no longer had the second option available. The goblins had now given up on her and they quickly started walking towards the apartment complex which now had a huge gaping hole and was no longer secure.
[Damn it.] Qin Hua immediately jumped out, letting out a loud howl. She simultaneously cast [Chaos Ball] flicking the small bundled up mass of black fumes towards one of the goblins.
It didn’t directly blow a hole through the goblin as it did with the zombies but it still slowed it down, bouncing off to the next goblin running in front of it.
The goblins immediately turned their attention back to her and started dashing towards her.
Qin Hua dove into a shadow and pounced on the weakest of the goblins. It waved its dagger at her, but she nimbly dodged it and sunk her canines on its back muscles.
Blood seeped out of the goblin as it wobbled but the other goblin meanwhile managed to stab her 3 times!
Qin Hua’s health quickly dropped down, plummeting all the way to one-thirds of her health.
Blood sprayed out of her body as well as she dodged another attack from the second goblin and went back to take another swing at the first goblin whom she had gravely injured.
But she was not lucky and the chaos ball had already disappeared. So the third goblin as well dashed towards her and she was completely overwhelmed.
Facing all three of them at the same time was beyond her limits.
The goblins realized this as well and they started speaking loudly in their language and grinning at the big black dog which was almost dead.
Qin Hua did not know what they were talking about but she could see that they were laughing at her. A sharp pain zigged and zagged through her body as more blood was spilling out.
She needed to flee. Now. Otherwise, she would surely end up dead.
But she couldn’t do that. She had no other choice but to defeat them somehow. She was all that was standing in between these creatures and her friends.
She growled angrily preparing to jump into another shadow, but her body froze.
Suddenly, the big black dog that looked wounded and angry was also grinning.
[Fu Fu Fu! It’s not over yet bastards!] Qin Hua revealed her canines which didn’t look cute or adorable on her like it used to. In fact, it could extremely evil and sinister.
Her devilish grin even made the goblins take a step back. The beast was clearly close to death, but they could feel that something was amiss.
And just as their gut feeling told them, the beast that was bleeding out right in front of them, suddenly raised its paw and popped something small into its mouth.
Qin Hua closed her eyes and when one of the goblins stepped forward in confusion to finish her off, her body disappeared into her own shadow.
The three looked extremely alarmed and looked around here and there when suddenly the one on the right felt a searing pain on its back and blood dripped from its throat.
Before it could react, something ripped and it fell on the floor, its eyes filled with a horrified expression as it stared at the lower half of the body which was right beside, but… without a head…
