Qin Hua had a huge shit-eating grin on her face as she glanced at the two lockets on her paw again.
She blinked at Lu Chen who was standing by her and then pointed her other paw to her neck, signaling for him to help her wear the chain with the locket around her neck.
“Aha ha ha. Ok, leave it to me.” He had no idea what was happening but it was not like he could ask her for any explanations.
So he just chuckled and silently complied with the request. He tightened the clasps properly and soon the two lockets hung snugly, somewhat hidden beneath the thick fur of her neck.
[He he] Qin Hua giggled happily and admired her handiwork by fiddling with them using her paws.
As opposed to her expression, everyone else was completely dumbfounded. Not to mention the half an hour time they had wasted by simply staring at her.
They suddenly felt like idiots for expecting too much from a mere dog and quickly went back to doing their respective tasks.
Qin Hua as well did not linger around anymore and made her own rounds in the supermarket, putting more things in the goblin’s pouch.
Anything she touched disappeared, but no one was shocked anymore. The dog was too weird and too secretive and no one could tell what she was up to at any given instant.
So they simply ignored her and relied on their own hard work to fill the truck with necessary goods.
A few more minutes passed and almost everyone was dead tired. Lu Chen and Guan Ye picked up the pace and filled the truck with the last of the edible items.
The group then sat around the parking lot to rest for a bit longer, enjoying some snacks and ice cream sticks and introducing themselves to each other.
Qin Hua, on the other hand, was busily inspecting all the daggers. Since her skill had now upgraded she could see a lot more details compared to before.
<Ding. Red Fang Dagger – One-handed weapon>
<Durability – 20/40>
<Attack damage – 20 ~ 80>
<Agility – +5>
<Ding. Dull Bronze Dagger – One-handed weapon>
<Durability – 10/10>
<Attack damage – 10 ~ 20>
…
…
…
Qin Hua glanced at the various details curiously. It looked like different daggers had different capabilities and she wondered if this was because of the specific materials they were made from.
She took out a better dagger replacing the one Lu Chen had placed by his side and tossed everything back into the pouch again.
She then hesitated for a moment before taking out a small piece of white cloth from the pouch.
[Inspect] She muttered half-heartedly and the next instant her eyes unexpectedly widened.
<Ding. Linen Loincloth – Armor>
<Durability – 2/5>
<Physical Defense – 5>
<Magic Defense – 5>
[Ehhh? Magic defense? Physical defense? A stupid goblin’s underwear has such good stats?]
[Wait, why is the durability only 2 out of 5? Does this mean this cloth was already used? Eww!]
She then quickly turned around to inspect Lu Chen’s and Guan Ye’s t-shirts, but they were only ordinary clothes and there was nothing special about them.
Even their durability was only 1!
As if she couldn’t believe what she was seeing, her sharp green and blue eyes darted back and forth between the loincloth and the t-shirt and a repulsive idea floated into her mind.
Technically, if she wanted she could fashion a t-shirt from these loincloths just like she had done with the rubies?
Qin Hua shook her head quickly wanting to drop that thought quickly but she looked at her clone which was still carrying the unconscious guy.
[Beggars can’t be choosers. We should use every damn thing we have!] She sighed and stood up to stroll towards the four women who were sitting next to each other and chatting.
She took out all the loincloths from the inventory, making a heap in front of them and she also took out a sewing kit that she had taken from the supermarket.
She then threw a t-shirt next to the heap and used her paw to point back and forth between the t-shirt and the loincloths.
She was so sure that her signal was easily understandable but yet for some reason, the women stared back at her blankly.
No one else as well said anything, and after a couple of seconds, she understood why. They did get the message she was trying to convey but none of them knew how to stitch.
Finally, Qiang, the person who was gossiping with Luo Zu earlier spoke up. “Ummm… Miss Little White… I mean boss Little White, this… do you want us to make a t-shirt from the cloth?”
Qin Hua quickly bobbed her head up and down and Qiang smiled awkwardly.
“I know a little bit of stitching, but I am not sure how it will turn out. Aha ha ha. I have only stitched buttons before. Do you still want me to try? Ummm… Boss?”
Qin Hua immediately moved the pile towards him with her paw and once again bobbed her head up and down.
She didn’t care how it looked.
Anything remotely resembling a t-shirt or even a shawl or a towel that could be worn around the waist or as a cloak would be fine.
“Alright. I will do my best… boss.” Qiang quickly got to work. The others looked at him in awe. Who even knew how to sew in this day and age?!
But they also couldn’t understand what the doggo was trying to do, first with the jewels and now with this set of handkerchiefs or at least that’s what they thought the loincloths were.
“Little white, what is this? Why do you want to stitch these things together?” Lu Chen asked her curiously.
The weather had indeed been a little unpredictable lately, but ever since people started turning into zombies, it had turned back to neutral weather, neither too hot nor too cold.
So she couldn’t possibly want these things to be stitched together for the purpose of clothing.
“Are these clothes somehow special?”
