Leon opened his eyes and sat up, only to find Layla wasn’t on the bed. He looked outside to see it was already past noontime.
“Argh!” He struggled to remember what happened last night, or rather after they fell asleep.
He got up from the bed and was about to call Layla’s name, but he noticed a blood stain on the mattress.
Leon’s face turned pale, and his body froze after seeing that. His brain stopped working, and he didn’t know what to do. He was having worse thoughts. He remembered how he wanted to choke Layla, but he stopped himself.
“Did I… do… something to her?” he stammered.
This was Leon’s first time showing such emotions and panicking.
He looked around the room and then under the bed, but Layla wasn’t there.
“Layla!” he shouted and ran outside the room.
“Layla!” he yelled again.
“I am here downstairs,” Layla replied.
Leon sighed in relief and almost dropped to his knees as he caught his breath after realizing Layla was fine.
He immediately dashed downstairs and saw Layla cooking in the kitchen. She was wearing a black-colored frilly dress, but it didn’t quite fit her.
Leon glanced around the kitchen and the living room and noticed everything was cleaned perfectly with new sheets and covers.
“I cleaned everything,” she stated. “I tried to make it look like how your mom used to decorate. But I don’t remember much, so I am not sure if I did it right.”
“What are you wearing? And how did you even get clothes?” Leon asked with a puzzled look on his face, but he soon realized it and felt stupid for asking such a question.
“This was in your mom’s suitcase. I was cleaning the house and found it. It doesn’t fit me perfectly, but I guess it looks good.” She glanced at Leon and asked, “What do you think?”
“…” Leon didn’t say anything.
“You can’t stay naked in the house,” Layla remarked. “You should also check if my father’s clothes fit you—”
Leon dashed to Layla and hugged her tightly.
Layla was surprised, but she hugged Leon back and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“I thought I did something horrible to you last night,” he muttered.
Layla’s face flushed after hearing that. She smiled a little and said, “You didn’t do anything.”
“Then what about the blood?”
“Don’t worry about it,” Layla uttered with a flushed face and then asked in a low voice: “Do you remember what we did last night?”
“I do,” he replied.
Leon had already recalled everything, thanks to his perfect memory.
Layla couldn’t hold her embarrassment, so she tried to dodge the topic by saying, “I went to the neighbors and called the home service. The water line is fixed now, and the electricity will be back in a few hours.”
Layla felt something sharp touching her neck, and when she glanced at it, she saw Leon holding a knife on her neck.
“Leon?” she said in a calm voice: “What are you doing?”
“Don’t ever go out or talk with anyone without my permission,” he uttered with a frowned face.
“The knife…”
“…!” Leon looked at his hand and saw he was holding a knife. Baffled and confused, he let go of the knife and made some distance between them.
Layla grabbed Leon’s hand with a smile on her face and said, “Let’s go have a nice bath.”

Author’s note – Here is the extra chapter for reading the power stones goal. And The flashback ends with this chapter. It was kinda long but worth it, right?
If anyone still hasn’t got it, Leon and Layla had sex. Don’t think that Leon is dumb that he didn’t understand what they were doing. He was aware of it as he had seen on TV (mostly on King’s game). He didn’t know about the blood because he had never seen a girl lose her V card on tv. His knowledge only comes from what he has seen, heard, or read, and he can remember everything perfectly after listening, watching, and reading something, even once. However, He doesn’t understand why people have sexual intercourse. He doesn’t have the normal teenager’s hormone.
I didn’t write the scene because it wasn’t worth it. You can guess from the way Layla mentions it. But I promise to write detailed scenes in the future.
Thanks for reading, and have a nice day.
In the meantime, if you are bored, you can check out my other novels, especially the new ‘Gods’ Impact Online’. It is a survival video game theme novel, and the main character Zach gets stuck in the VR game along with his two best friends.. (read the synopsis to find out more, and if you find it interesting, you might as well give it a read).
